I wanna thank the beautiful lady who served me through the guard at the door about 10 mins ago. As i was walking to mcdonalds i tripped and sprained my ankle. Then when i got there i realised my ph was on charge at hm and i needed it for the stupid vax passport and ask if the doorman could buy my meal for me so grateful cuz i didn't wanna have to walk back hm with my sore ankle then back to mcdees britomart to order my meal. So Thank u both for making exceptions for me.

This particular McDonald’s store is conveniently located in the heart of Auckland and surrounded by lots of shops, restaurants and bars. You can either order your meals using one of the many electronic ordering screens. If you are paying cash you need to do this at the counter. Once you order, you will be given a numbered ticket, which you then need to wait for until your number is called out with your order. There are plenty of tables and chairs to sit on if you want to dine in and the entrance is easily accessible.

Fast service, but most of the time the ordering screens are either out of order or the receipts do not print as they have run out of paper. Would be good for staff to check these more often.

The good thing is that this place open 24 hours. Unfortunately, this place is very busy so either it'll take awhile to get your order, or its assembly is quite messy. My last order was the mozzarella beef burger, and the mozzarella patty was so thin all I can taste was just deep fried crumbs. McCafe staff was friendly, though.

24 hours so very convenient. Located in very central area next to Britomart main entrance. Good seating area but not cleaned or cleared out often enough so usually looks messy. Only downer though so 4 stars. If that changes I'll be fair about it and give the full 5.

Best McD in cbd and closest to britomart train station! Their wifi is fast and free, u just need to sign up to mecca online. Their frozen coke is real bargain deal for just $1.

Very busy place, would never consider the entrance "clean" but the high volume of people through would make that an extremely difficult task. Toilets are always smelly and probably the worst I've seen of any fast food outlet. I'm surprised franchise representatives allow that standard to remain. Food and service is as expected for any busy fast food place. The advent of ordering through a screen instead of the counter only serves to lower the quality/ expectation of actual service from staff.

Was really pleased with very quick service. Smallish premises with a lot of customers. Queue for ladies conveniences was out the door due to event on. We took our food outside to eat. Lots of seating outside in the square in the open air. Such a great location. The square is so large that the pedestrian traffic is barely noticeable. It was also night time. Queen St lights made a great backdrop for photos.

It’s exactly what you’d expect from McDonalds. Burgers, fries, soft serve ice cream and fizzy drinks. It gets very busy and messy on popular clubbing nights in town due to its location. So could be cleaner on those nights. Also has a McCafe but that part isn’t open 24/7. Has lots of self service ordering machines/kiosks. Quite efficient with orders. Very close to major buses, ferries and trains. Reliably open 24/7. It’s got toilets and seating inside. 5 stars because it meets expectations but it’s just your average macas.

The girls taking and making orders last night were great. Our customized orders were made perfectly. Only downside was the very messy lobby. Nobody wiped down tables or swept the floor for the half an hour we were there.

I would have liked to give it 5 stars had it not been for the so called Filet O Fish Deluxe. For $7.90 I got the usual sized bun with a scattering of the palest lettuce leaves, 1 tomato slice and a cheese slice plus the fish and tartare sauce. Nothing like the picture. Maybe when they become true to the photo and stop flattening the damn bun and just pop the top on gently I might go up a couple stars. But I'm giving it 3 stars for the taste, not the presentation.

For a McDonald's Restaurant in down town Auckland I thought it was extremely pleasant. The ordering machine worked well and although we dined at 12.15 pm, order was prepared and served in less than 3 minutes, which I thought was terrific. As per usual when we got it it was the same as always.

20/04/21 very clean friendly staff great deals definitely recommend this one, cant be compared to maccas 268 queen street where a spoiled cleaner woman abuse customers (she had tried to punch me on 21/04/21) when i bought two frozen fantas and inserted the straw to one of them the frozen drink eruoted like a volcano lmao XD very funny and amusing, i loved the cold drink

Staff definitely needs to be trained better in their customer service skills. Myself being and x member of the hospitality industry n having trained numerous kids over the years in the hospitality n airline n police, I was really disappointed with the service quality here... food was good no doubt. Love a MacD whenever I am hungry. Just step up your game else you will start to loose customers. Sorry for being a brute, but that's my honest opinion.

A convenient place to grab a quick bite. This place ample of seats. Customer service is good and no complaint at all. Complements to the Management in how they deliver the customer service. They constant keep the place tidy and clean, As you can see the cruise always wiping him walking in the restaurant. The burgers and french fries are always served hot, on top of that we didn’t have to wait too long for our orders. The winning factor for this McDonald’s outlet is the location. It enjoys large volume of people who rides the train to work or commutes via the bus system. Come to think of it, fast food business in really in real estate! Imagine if want to to sell off your franchise restaurant at a central and busy location after ten years of running the business!

Incredibly fast order filling, considering just how many orders were being pumped out. I like the self serve ordering stations, and the 'now serving' display showing your number coming up. It felt high tech, and like it was working. I liked that. Our cheeseburgers were delicious, fresh (as fresh as McDs gets). The decor was ok, and the men's toilets were to a high standard, for a Macca's WC. I'd go again.

Great if you want Maca's which our 3 grandkids did, little bit hard to find what with all the construction going on plus a bit noisy but that will be gone soon. Very handy to trains, buses and ferries, its under the Mercure hotel in Queen street. This Maca's was clean and not too noisy inside, lovely staff, really nice to our grandkids.

It's pretty cool aye.... I mean especially in one of the busiest parts of the city.. There was a big que so I decided to order my meal on the machine. Friendly staff in an early morning. Asked for 4 ketchup sachet/pack and she gladly gave. In some places, u get staff “rolling-eyes”. Somehow there was strong urine stench but I am not sure if it’s the restaurant or it’s from a customer. Cuz it kinda did not smell so bad after this particular customer left. So the fifth missing star goes to the suspicious smell which could be quite unfair.... Well, I might be brainwashed by some other reviewers.... my bad...

We had to do it, eat at McDonalds on our overseas vacation. We do this with each country we travel to different countries. This McDonalds was great. The menu was different from Australia, I had the NYC Benedict Bagel, which was delicious. Good customer service. A very busy establishment, but well organised and very little waiting time. Excelent. I bought a Mega Mac to takeaways and receive a Big Mac. Several hours late I did a complain personally without the receipt and receive the difference of the price back. I like when there is trust in the people. The manager has my congratulations.

I went in to McDonald's Britomart today to get a $5.00 cheese combo that I saw advertised on TV with the burger and the big sized chips, but when I ordered it the girl said no that was wrong,So I felt a little disappointed, but anyway I ordered the cheese combo that small burger and small chips and I wanted a hot chocolate drink and for 40 cents more I could, The place was clean and I thought the cleaning lady was very nice and helpful and toilets were lovely and clean, but I think McDonald's should sort out there promotions better.

This is the McDonald's to go to instead of the one up the street on Queen. Yes, there can be a lot of people at times, but for the most part the service is quick and friendly. They do have ordering stations which makes it convenient, especially if you're not use to the accent and the speed in which the locals speak.

Location is just beside Britomart the Central Train Station so very handy and accessible, however with downside of enormous building work of the new Central train link all around. Lots of beggar's but that because of down town location and numbers of punters from the train station, not because of McDs. Clean and tidy but quite dark inside, external noise is muted inside. Service was prompt and order came quickly and was correct, tasted as it should have. Free WiFi but security certificate had expired, so didn't use it.

The Iconic McDonald's Britomart is a great fast food treat if you are in Downtown Auckland. I love their menu designs, it is very expressible of their marketing appeal to clients. Self Service is bit AI driven, therefore McDonald's Britomart is getting on the technological jump. I like their architectural upgrades; both interior and exterior. Very accessible to Downtown's local amenities - Britomart Station, Countdown, Food Alley, and good all Queen St.. Come to McDonald's if you have the chance - to feel the visible beauty of McDonal's Britomart.
