Ok this is a McDonald's, so if you have been to one you will have a fair idea what you're in for. Tried the new Grand Mac take a big Mac and make it bigger,It tastes just like a Big Mac. Lots of parking but the place was busy. Just ordered on kiosk and picked up order and got out of there. Toilets adjoining and it's part of a complex of shops.

Well I didn't really get to experience as much as I always do because I showed up there at midnight because we were traveling for a very long time so we just ordered food and just left but the food was very nice hot food and everything fresh hot just so good that's why I gave it out of a three but if we went there if it was daytime I would've actually checked and looked around the place to actually give u a proper ratings dm description of the McDonald's

Had McDonald’s there with over 15 orders before us, but was served ard 15 mins after ordering, which was rather reasonable. Ordered at 9am, had sausage McMuffin combo. Had French fry stuck to my hash brown and onion in my sausage mcmuffin! Onion and French fries are not often on the breakfast menu at 9am! Since when McDonald’s put mayonnaise on breakfast muffins? Or this was just not right?!

A small Macdonald's with 6 order and pay machines.They have a mccafe also separate table seating in another room. Can get busy as this is a popular stop by for petrol and pit stop. Clean and tidy place.

A great place for those leaving early in the morning or late night. Since it is open 24 hours. It can be very busy during peak hours and has slow service but the service is good during weekends and holidays.

The best McDonald's ever!! Service always on point. Food is fresh and assembled well. My favorite restaurant 😋

This was delicious but the chips weren’t hot but the Big Mac was hot and fresh !

The great thing about this MacDonald’s Franchise is that it is joined to autobahn with a large entrance restroom area that services both businesses. If the kids want MacDonald’s and you want something from Autobahn then the kids can cut through this entrance that connects both businesses without having to go outside. There is also a cute Little helicopter ride in this connected area to keep the kids amused while you eat.

Conveniently open late, easily ordered and not a long wait which was great considering alot of customers came from the all blacks game at eden park !! Delicious Gourmet Burgers.. Well done Mcdonalds Drury

Pretty good quality for a maccas off the motorway. Would go here again, though the chips I got last time weren't the greatest, every other time they've been fresh and delicious

No problems at all. Always a melting pot of random passer throughers from all parts of the country some patient some not but that's how it is when your our traveling the staff there do their job the best they can and try to maintain the place rhe best they can. It would be good it there were toilets open 24hours but other than that plenty of parking and spacious carparks.

The food is ok - it's Macca's so it is what it is. The auto self serve stations don't always work properly & I can't think of a time we've visited when it hasnt been messy. This is an area they would benefit from focusing on. Overfilled rubbish bins, dirty tables & floors with food & packaging left behind are something we've seen every time we've visited. I often clear tables just so we have somewhere to sit & eat. They are a small store that deal with a large number of customers daily & that is no easy thing. I think they'd benefit from having a few extra staff on to help deal with customer demands.

Convenient location and great quality Maccas. Well made fresh burgers unlike a lot of the sloppy mess I usually receive and to top it all off the food was brought to the table. Restaurant was a tad messy but understandable considering the turn over that came through.

Very busy time of day, wasn't told to order coffee from counter. So didn't bother going back into the queue. They should put a card up at the McCafe coffee counter so people know to order whilst ordering their food.

Looooooove the custmer service especially love how very cool it was

The McCafe service was fantastic, ordered a hot chocolate on a nice cool day and it warmed me up just right! Bit of a shame there's only one way to get in given that it's an off ramp exclusively headed southbound but otherwise fantastic. Rating was for the service and the product, not for the location :)

Good food. No numbers available at self help ordering. Requested table service but got none. Sat there for 20 minutes or so and 2 tables had not been cleaned up. 1 table was full of rubbish.

No a bad McDonald's but it just the same thing. We will be back. At least it's better than the Cafe here.

The service is as expected from a Maca's, but due to high traffic, the floor was not as spic and span as you think would be from a McDonald's standard. It would be better if the restaurant is much cleaner - it's just a suggestion not a complaint! I think the burger tasted great as my boys ate them, not me, and they did not complain:)

Absolutely fantastic food. The food was fresh hot and tasty. The customer service was amazing, I take my hat off to the workers for giving us a great experience.

A very, very popular place where the wait was long for orders! I'd imagine this to be a very busy spot. Stop only if there are not many cars. Otherwise, service is as good as it can be. 👍

Good stopover to stretch your legs for long route journey....

Surprisingly ok, for a McDonalds. Usually my experiences with McDonalds are poor, but this was clean and fast. Carpark is a mess, litter everywhere. I dont usually eat at mcdonalds due to the waste it makes and the carbon footprint

Food is good, service can be slow and confusing especially as table service is occasional and people line up super randomly so you don't know who's waiting for food due to the layout. It's clean and the seating is good tho

Pretty much same as all fast food joints however like rest of these chains No longer have anymore specails& food is pretty much over prices for what you get ..I used to enjoy Mac Donalds in 70s 80s 90s but from 2000 doesnt taste same & generally luke warm burgers not fresh at all

Can't really say much about this McD's - I thick one is pretty much the same as the next one, but I will say it is in a very handy location for anybody traveling south on the southern motorway. A variety of stores & a big petrol station share the same area. Lots of parking - even for big truck & trailer combos.

The best McDonald's I've been to in a long time. We got our order hot and promptly and it was all there. Very nice to have someone checking it's all done not just putting on the bench and crossing their fingers. Top job

Chips were salty and cold. No covid19 IR code to scan upon entry via side door. No hand sanitizer. Luckily the burgers were good.

Ugh, just like every other one, but at least the bacon and egg muffin is a buck cheaper than next door. Faster service than Autobahn. Strongly recommend get in, get takeaway and keep moving on your journey.

Very busy restaurant, but they do really well in getting orders done as quickly as possible. Burgers were great, didn't look like a hot mess (like other McDonald's when they are under pressure). Fries were hot. I got what I ordered.

Handy place to freshen up when traveling north or south. Burger was lovely and fresh and fries were crispy so nothing to complain about here.

Great place & great food. However the counters need to to more clearly marked to show where you order and where you collect the food. People continually go to the Collect counter thinking that is where they order. Frustrating to experience and see others do the same.....

I mean, it's a McDs you know what you're getting. This one is quite small and usually busy so not good for sitting and relaxing. There isn't really a waiting area so it's not even that good for takeaway when busy as you have to spread out all over the restaurant while waiting.

Great McDonald's With friendly polite staff The only complaint that I have is the table numbers are hardly ever available at the kiosk for table delivery I feel if you advertise a service the customer should be able to use it...

Need to get more people packing and serving. The lady running the service at lunch time was doing an amazing job but could've used the extra help.

Pretty fast drive through. Staff were cool, quite jovial which is so nice to be greated by while on a long drive.

We don't use the McDonald's but the toilets in the complex provide welcome relief after negotiating the Southern Motorway Traffic. Easy access off and onto the motorway.

Hi McDs this is a good example of a hygienic tidy well presented restaurant. We were here at peak time. Two staff were cleaning tables immediately and keeping the restaurant tidy. Fast efficient service. This place get a 5 star as staff here are taking pride in there work.

Food was great. Had a long wait due to being so busy but got my order correct and was all good

Food was hot and ok. But they weren't taking payments at the counter that day and they didn't have Coke No Sugar or Diet Coke. Nor did they have sundaes or ice cream. The on-duty manager had a poor attitude about giving me alternative options too. Burger was good though!

Refreshing drinks on a hot Summer's day. Although gluten free options are very limited my children always enjoy a visit to this restaurant. Quick and easy and healthy options expanding which is good to see. Perfect for that special treat

The food took FOREVER. They got our order wrong, but they took so long... We just took it anyways. Lol. The mocha was nice, and McCafe was fast enough.

Only went in to get ice for my dogs water as was stinking hot day. Place was packed. Staff lovely and very accommodating to my dogs needs.

The local guide named Stephanie made a review three weeks ago. I am a regular customer at that store and I would like this young lady to know that that young man has absolutely brilliant customer service skills, every time I walk into that store I am always welcomed by a bright, happy smile. It's not the boy's fault that he's made to stand around all day long directing people to those annoying machines, he is not the one making the decisions. Stephanie, sometimes there are people like you in this world who are just simply so negative and mean. You have your entire life to be rude and to write mean posts degrading a minimum wage worker who's bored out of his mind, why not take a day off? Act your age not your shoe number, grow up and learn to be more mature rather than picking on teen aged fast food employees. This McDonald's has terrific service and a cool vibe, the people working there are great and the food is always wonderful!

Long wait for cold food that was slapped together. No marshmallows in hot chocolate and no onions or mustard in cheeseburger.

Nice restaurant. Quick service, I reccomend using the self-service screens as sometimes the lines are long. If you need a quick snack or some roadside food then I suggest going there if you're nearby. (Try the grape frozen fanta) It was cheap as well. One of the best McDonald's I have been too. 5 stars.

I had the sausage mcmuffin and flat white both were good. There were quite a few pesky flies in the dinning area , maybe tables and seats need a good wipe down.

As McDonalds go, this is not the best. It seems that whenever they get busy, on expected heavy travel days on long weekends, they struggle to keep up. As a result, service is slow and the place gets real messy with staff not being able to serve fast enough AND clear tables, etc. Seves a purpose while you are travelling, but not that great.

A singularly perfect dining experience. Someone who I assume was Mr McDonald met us personally at the counter. The clown makeup was unnerving at first but our worries were soon assuaged by his deep and personal commitment to customer service. The menu was somewhat limited but the turnaround was strikingly fast. The main meal was brown crumbly stuff in between soft white padding with a brown exterior, also containing a salty red liquid, some tangy green circles, and a slice of yellow plastic. It was served with an acidic brown liquid with bubbles and floating rocks in it, which was surprisingly delicious. I also enjoyed the long crunchy salty yellow sticks. A+ would eat again.

This is the McDonald's I have in a long time food was fresh and hot. Staff were lovely and they smile 😃 thank you so much for amazing fresh food.

Best place to stop over who are on a long trip

always stop by here to eat and gas up on our road trips, always busy so depending on how busy could be in for a bit of a wait for your food, friendly staff

This place can't handle a rush for the life of them. Had to wait 10 min as they messed up my order twice, during that time numerous people were coming back up as they had also messed their order up as well. Food was good and hot as they were constantly having to remake everything

Being from the United States and use to McDonald's here, made this experience very different. In NZ you order from a computer screen station, and then go to the counter to pay & pick up your food. In the USA, we just go to the counter & tell them what we want. I'm not a fan of touching computer screens that hundreds of people have previously touched. I'm not a regular McDonald's customer nor do i care for their food but my daughter's & I did it just so we could say we did in NZ. I do have to say, even in a different country the food has a consistent taste. The cheeseburgers in the United States tastes the same as they do in New Zealand.

Can be ordered by customer on a computer screen or to a staff member. Tastily cooked. Easy access off the motorway.

Just a standard McDonald's. New Zealand McDonald's are quite expensive. You know that the food will be safe though. The soft serves are the best of all fast food joints in New Zealand. The only food I come for are the soft serves. Unfortunately the soft serves are more expensive now. Still get them every now and then. This one can only be accessed going south and getting off the motorway where the BP is.

Great stop at the mid Auckland to Hamilton. Little disappointed with no kids play area but nice and large place.

Great breakfast. It would be nice to have the sugar and napkins provided at counter service instead of having to go back and help oneself.

On my way home i called into Macdonalds for dinner on my way home to hamilton. It wasnt over busy at time which was great. It was clean an tidy! The staff was nice & polite.

Service was a little slow, gets very busy, yet they had coned off the largest part of the eating area, and then the burgers were put together pretty badly.

Super busy, ordered 2 items but clerk only heard one. Wasn't going to hop back in the queue. Probably best to place order on DIY stations when it's busy.

The service of this Macca is pretty fast, our group of six took ages to order 6 meals at the self-service kiosk but the food is ready in less than 5mins. None of other Maccas located in central Akl can match the speed of this place. This is what fast-food suppose to be.

Cleanliness seems to be slipping in this place. Heaps of staff on but no one wipes down tables or sweeps floors often enough.

Very busy at the time we visited. Waits were quite long. But that is because it is a good location and easy to get to.

Slow service. They had one checkout open.... and it was a new guy serving. I understand that he needs to start sometime. But not when big que and only one toll open. Restaurant was a real mess. Food on the floor and tables and bins really needed a clean. It was about 1045pm so well after the tea rush.

It's a full MacDonalds but there didn't appear to be a playground. Regular fare and plenty of seating.

What can you say, would like more consistancy but that's not likely once main franchise holder has money. This does apply to most "fast foods".

First time I had a burger there for years. Very nice, But no milk shakes.

Bit of a shambles, order pay cafe section , pick up usual counter then back to cafe counter for drinks.

More improvement with service please speak to customers eye contact and do try to smile in return we don't all have bad days you can do it.

Nice quick service, store okay,bit cold with air conditioning

What can you say about a Macdo...? They have the most complex and incomprehensible ordering system I have ever seen. Go next door.

Travelling up and down the country, I often stop on the way down from Auckland to grab a Macca's from this place.

Avoid Maccas anywhere, if you can. Standard service.

Has 6 touchscreen panels so you can order and pay without going up to the counter. Service is standard, nothing special, a bit slow. Has all the usual menu items and there's also a McCafe there and wifi. Great location if you're on a road trip going South.
