A good restaurant. Friendly enough with good service. Some staff servers offer exceptional public service with a smile, are 'present' with their customer and are able 'to read' the customer very well, anticipating needs, offering small sometimes essential variations to meal choices if their customer is young, elderly, or just plain unsure. NOTE: Not ALL servers at this location have acquired this high level of public relations and service only a select few in the time that I have being a patron at this location. Always room for improvement in customer relations and service. Keep up the good work. Patronage: Over 10+ years

Ordered through Ubereats, "you choose family pack". Items were missing. When contacted the store, it went through after 4 calls. The staff took my contact details, saying that the manager will call me regarding the issue. Was supposed to be our dinner for 4, it's been almost 2 hours and no calls yet. Very poor service😔😡

Somehow there's nearly always things missing from your order, last time we went we had burnt black onion on our burgers even though we asked for 1 without onion as I'm highly allergic! The staff are rude most the time except for a guy called Jake who' works in drive thru and a lady Sheryl who I noticed has worked there many years, those 2 are the best part of the place which is y I'm giving 3 stars. If it wasn't for them I'd give 1 star. At least they have customer service skills and always get ya order right

I go here quite often to get meals for the family, service is ok no niceties at all and make sure you check your order is correct, the amount of times that they have missed part of order is enough that I make sure to check everytime.

Awesome Customer Service once they were able to serve us. Extremely busy drive-thru,So much so that cars were waiting for 40 odd minutes to order. Tables were cleared but not wiped. The seats were so greasy u can slide off

Yesterday met up with a friend and arrived at the counter where we had waited almost 10 minutes until their staff noticed we stood there. We had asked can we get some service? As of all of the staff were too busy doing the registered orders. Looked like one of the managers came to serve us, didn't even apologize for letting us wait this long. "You didn't want to use the registered order service"? They replied. "No, we don't use robots lol we prefer the human touch, plus you didn't even see us waiting for that long". Our response to them. We had shared to them, maybe if you had 1x member working to serve the humans we wouldn't wait for ten minutes. Please note that we will also refer this to your main head office and your management here too. Retrain your staff and remember we could've went to pizza hut a few meters away🙄

A couple of items missing in my order. Politely went up to staff regarding two missing items from my order. Staff were fine until the manager tried to have a go at me stating they had the order correct. It was busy, I told her what was in a hunger buster then she changed her tone. Would give 1 star but the frontline staff were awesome.

Took my elderly father in law for a treat. Food great. Cleanliness top notch. Can't beat a buck for a frozen no sugar Coke either. Staff really nice. However a point off for the disabled toilet - a major challenge to get in and out of in a wheelchair with the weighted door (should be a slider or cavity door ideally) plus the toilet is terribly low for transferring.

Friendly staff however tend to take a while to take your order when at the drive through speaker. Very rare that both ice cream and frozen coke machine are working at the same time. Food is usually pretty fresh however there is always something to let down a meal I.e fresh chips with no salt. Good location and close to other shops. Drive through is small and clostrophobic

Food is served quickly. Mocha tasted more.like a cappuccino. I have to say the first Mocha was very sweet for me so the next time I asked for half chocolate. The next time was nice so I ordered it again but unfortunately I don't think they put any chocolate in at all. The mocha I paid for turned into a cappa. Also they forgot some of my order. Its a good McDonalds and McCafe with a big children's playground inside. Also has a bookable birthday/ meeting room. Clean and pretty quiet. Disabled toilet was out of order! Wasn't too easy using the adults toilet with two 3 year olds.

Good place to go when took lazy to cook, most of the staff are really good and service is pretty good most of the time, alot better than Lincoln Road. Food is normal McDonald food, can't complain. There's one European lady that works there with the best customer service skills I have every seen and always smiles, with a cheerful tone in her voice all the time. Good place overall for big or small family stop ins and even special occasions like children's B'Days.

Cleaner than most McDonald's franchises and the staff were friendly. Food was well prepared and the tables and chairs were all nice and clean so the overall experience was great. Finding parking wasn’t difficult. However, we did visit when it wasn’t very busy. I can definitely see parking being more difficult during lunch time/weekends.

Just ordered our meal from the drive thru. The gentleman that took our order was very friendly and spoke clearly and ensured we had our orders right before moving to the payment window. He greeted us with a smile and was very polite, I didn't catch his name. Our food came very quickly with another friendly greeting and smile from Cheryl. Kelston is my fave mcds. The guy in the window with the long hair is the absolute best! He is so kind and friendly, always asking about my day. I love that he loves his job and it shows. I wish more people were like this. He is a superstar

For some reason we always seem to order stuff they 'dont have' or 'run out of'. This time it was no flakes. Another time no ice cream. Another time no iced coffee!

Excellent mochas but the mess outside is gross and consistent. Shout out to the guy picking up rubbish everyday.. pretty sure he does it on his own time. They need to match the number plates with the people littering in their carparks. Says $4 coffees has said so all year and I know full fact that I've been charged $5.20 numerous times.i will be calling the commerce commission about this. Honestly have to say I deal with a lot of people on a weekly basis and three members of staff here are an absolute pleasure to deal with. Scar and James and Jacob. There is also an awesome European older lady who is a manager and she is so lovely aswell. Those 4 people are the ONLY reason I can put up with the long waits. They are all going places and deserve recognition and a pay raise for their excellent customer service skills. For them I'll change my rating to a 5/5 .

Yesterday I ordered a meal for my kids and we just sat at the table when homeless man walks in sits next to us. The problem was he smelled horrific, urine etc I had to get up and move. Sorry this is connected to my sons account and I'm not a Hoax lol. I have just come through Kelston Mac Donald's Drive thru to get an order for my sons. A young man called Daniel (whose name I found out when I went to pay) has the most impeccable customer service I have actually ever experienced at ANY Mac D's and I've been to a few over the years. Yes, the line was long and the chips not so hot but that can be forgiven when you are served by someone who knows the true meaning of great customer service. From start to finish the way he asked what I'd like to order to when he collected the money was truely wonderful coming from a young person. Not many young people display such good customer service these days so thank you Daniel, it was an absolute pleasure to be served by you. I hope someone at head office sees this because you need to train some of your peers on how its done! Keep it up. Regards Helen

I like this McDonalds because it's big and you can charge your laptop or phone. But sometimes you have to wait for minutes to order and not all employees are that friendly. Today the Wifi didn't work, which was annoying.

I love the old bank Maccas in downtown Auckland. We had to have the toilet stop so we used it as an excuse to ordered two georgie pie meals. These are mince and cheese pies which in a combo comes to about $8nz which was good. The toilets are clean, the srevice is quick and there are lots of tables so more 3 and1/2 than 3 stars
