There is a particular gentleman at the takeaway window that is extremely polite and takes his order to the tee. Very professional and always gets the order right, with great mannerism. Servers sometimes aren't too bothered, so customer service could improve here. As the food, never had any major issues other than some burgers being cold, but that's a given being fast-food.

Went through the drive through this afternoon. The guy on the mic was pretty nice had no problem even though my order was ridiculously small. However, the young lady who served be at the window made me feel embarrassed for what I ordered. She didn't smile or acknowledge my existence and held my order barely out the window. I had to almost snitch it out of her hands. I was in no way rude, wore a mask, signed in at rhe drivethrough and was no trouble. I said thank you to her just for her to ignore me and slam the window shut. I understand its a pressuring job, I've worked for the company before. But it is in no way acceptable for staff to take out any anger and frustration out on customers who already understand the pressures they're under. The food was fine and I appreciate the lad who took my order for being patient when I asked about prices. But this young woman must need more training on how to be more respectful. I won't retaliate because I know the pressures they may be under. But some people will

Excellent customer service from the employees at the McDonald's in New Lynn. I had to get my car fixed and so I had wait all day until I got my car back. I couldn't go home because I live very far from my mechanic, so I decided to work and wait at McDonald's instead. The manager was sweet, I kept hearing her remind her staff to take their breaks. Then an Indian man (I think he is the big boss) offered me a free McCafe beverage because he noticed I had been waiting quite a while at McDonald's. I didn't accept the kind gesture, but it definitely made my day. ♥️

Sometimes they mess up your order, but overall pretty good. Super busy with huge lines on Friday and Saturday night though. Always worth the wait and the food is good.

Typical Macs. Staff can be friendlier. The playground can be cleaner. Used to go there a lot. My daughter had a Christmas party there. The toy collection is unique.

Was given someone else's Flurry icecream- no lids spoon in. They asked for it back so they can give it to the correct customer. That's so risky and unhygienic special during COVID-19 when we need to be as contactless as possible.

The food was good. The service was good. However the toilets were disgusting. One toilet was so dirty and unclean you would not want to go near it. The other one had paper all over the floor. Apparently the ladies toilets weren't any better with one of them being blocked with paper. This is a management problem with no systems being set up to avoid this. We expect better then this from McD. Totally unacceptable from a H&S point of view.....

Just your standard everyday Macdonalds, with food as expected to be prepared. They left out an item on our order but was promptly fixed. It is also on the bigger side of the franchises feeling nice and spacious. Overall it was consistent with all Macdonalds experiences which is what I was expecting

Arrived here at breakfast changeover yesterday, around 10am. Lots of cars in the drive thru, but within 5 minutes I was whisked through, no hassles. Everything was as expected, QR code worked well for order. Cannot complain. Well done!!

17/05/2021 Came through drive through tonight, had a big order worth $141.30 Ordered : 3x $30.00 dinner boxes, burgers big Mac, mcchikn, 1/4 pounders Specifically asked for l&p,& fanta, & Sprite no ice n any drinks, 2x happy 6pack nuggets and cheeseburger meals, black currant drinks x2, 2 extra cheeseburgers, 2x dble big Mac burgers on their own, and a large white coffee with four sugars, got everything else, except for black currant drinks, 2x dble big Mac burgers, and no sugar for coffees, and chips we're cold az. Rang the manager no answer even till 3am will be going in store to see dayshidt manager and get refund for rest of my order, and to make it worse I am an ex manager off McDonald's newlynn. How embarrasing?!!

Wait times are bad, like really bad, i had to eait over 40 minutes for 2 big macs and 2 small fries, and whenever i get a frozen drink it takes like 10-20 mins until i go up and ask them, then they actually make it, but food and service is good otherwise

Not the greatest of McDonalds which is a shame considering its capacity to serve a big crowd with a large carpark and seating areas. We went in the night time and the toll of a busy day was felt everywhere. Bins were overflowing, tables needed cleaning and the bathrooms were the dirtiest i have seen in a long time. The staff were trying but not a smile on their faces. Food was decent atleast. If you want good service, come earlier in the day!

One of the better McDonalds. When you go to McDonalds don't expect impeccable service and food quality, it's a fast food branch. However, in saying that I've had only minor incidents here and the staff are pleasant enough to deal with.

There is a guy , I think his name was Jahn. He was very quick and displayed amazing customer service. I feel he carried the whole of maccas during weekends and he should be given more appreciation and 'satisfaction'. Amazing!!

What you'd expect from a normal McDonald's. The dine in area is usually full of rubbish left of tables and lots of homeless people lurking around. Booth seats are all ripped too. Homeless people are often begging in the drive through and staff will often ask you to go park up even if there's no one waiting behind you to get their drive through stats up.

Toilets need a clean but as with every McDonalds, they have a science to their burgers that are never disappointing... Beware, there is a kid's playground in this McDonalds so there may be some screams glee... Other than that, I enjoyed it!

McDonald's New Lynn today 16/11/2018 restored my Faith in Fast Food Restaurants. McDonald's Westcity in the mall is appalling. Unfortunately I thought Carl's jr. on Lincoln Rd was terrible but McDonald's in Westcity are about the same. McDonald's New Lynn staff were very pleasant, the service was second to none and the Restaurant was very clean. McDonald's Lincoln Rd could learn alot from this example. Well done
