There is no other desert shop like this. Sweets are displayed like jewelries. I'm not a big fan of sweets but it is always a good idea to finish your evening with a nice desert. Oh, I have to mention one thing, the young waiter is super friendly and knows what hospitality is. He is definitely the highlight of the entire experience.

Loved the high tea 👍🏻 really delicious rich flavours. The salted caramel hot chocolate was scrumptious! It's not as fancy pants as some upmarket hotel high teas, in terms of atmosphere but the food was definitely high class!

A great place for desserts, such a fantastic range of exquisite options. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable, and quick to serve. The place does get busy on Friday and Saturday evenings though so expect it to be difficult to get a table. They have takeaway desserts however.

Miann is doing a great work as always, fabulous presentation and taste :) It is busy on Friday-Saturday nights so it is best to book a table. Although they do take away and there is a good selection of desserts in the cabinet.

Nice place to stop by if you are wanting dessert. The biggest issue is the lack of seating as it is usually always full. Seating inside is fairly tight but it is quite nice, especially if you can spot the dessert counters. They have a variety of different cakes, pastries and ice cream on offer and they have very interesting flavours. Aside from the cabinet they also have a menu for the more a la carte desserts. I grabbed the coconut shells and the smoked hot chocolate. The coconut shell was interesting, with mango and pineapples. Nice flavour and it all went well together. The shell just melted as it reached room temperature, so if you didn't take a photo fast enough you would've missed the shell. The smoked hot chocolate was very interesting. smoke held in the cup by a chocolate dome and you melt through the dome with hot chocolate. Friends got ice cream sandwich and a chocolate milkshake and were happy with their choices. Always a nice choice if you were wanting something sweet to finish (or start) your night. Edit: The creme brulee was really tasty and smooth.

First time in Miann fort street. Staff was very friendly, since it was winter, shop was a bit cold but each table had warm blanket for customers (thank you♡). Coffee can be a bit bitter it has a strong coffee flavour but its very smooth when you drink. (Cant even imagine is bitter until drink the last bit of it). Dessert, well inside is a bit sour but its balanced to the other sauces, little bread inside is lovely. ( but if you are little sensitive on egg smell, just dont eat this white crunch stuff. Its made with egg yolk)

Had an amazing experience at Miann Fort Street, wonderful staffs, excellent customer service! We ordered a tasting platter, each an every dessert was absolutely delicious, they were able to swap one of the desserts as it contained alcohol which I couldn’t consume due to my pregnancy, much appreciated ❤️!!!

Best Dessert place hands down. The presentation is impeccable, the flavours are beautifully paired with each other and you can watch them making your food as well. It's very understandable if you love taking photos and it impresses everyone I take there so it'd be perfect for a date. It's not a place you can set your laptop up and work and I've only seen kids there a few times. Every other time it's been a crowd from 17yrs old to late 60's that I've seen. It's very central to the rest of the CBD so it's a great meet up point too ❤

I absolutely have nothing negative to say about Miann. All our experiences here have been great! Ambiance 5/5 – Love their décor and the over all feel of this place! I wish they could expand so they have more seating as it gets very busy. During the winter, they also have blankets that you could use so you stay warm. Food 5/5 – Beautiful and gorgeous desserts on display all the time! Always top notch and there’s different flavours for everyone. Their gelato is also very good and even their chocolate and biscuits on display are very enticing. I love their hot drinks and the cute designs on top of them! They are a bit more pricy than regular hot drink/desserts, but the overall experience is worth it imo. Staff and Service 5/5 – People are always lovely here. Staff are always warm and friendly even during the peak busy hours. Total: 5/5, we are always happy to come back here ❤

Me and my fiancé happened upon this dessert place when we were visiting from Sydney. This place is most excellent, serving up what I feel to be fine dining level desserts. The smoked hot chocolate is one of the best hot chocolates that I’ve ever had and the lava cake was to die for. This level of quality for desserts is hard to find, even in Sydney. If you’re a traveller or lucky enough to be living nearby, you’ve got to give this place a try.

Have always loved the desserts here! Saw they no longer do their tonka bean hot chocolates and asked if they'd ever bring it back, the staff went out of their way to make one especially! So so appreciative, definitely a go-to dessert stop for some fine delicate desserts that are appealing to both visuals and the palette.

The Creme Brulee was EXQUISITE. Over-priced ($18) but came with caramelized feijoa, walnuts and apple. I had the Dominican Republic hot chocolate (orange), came with beautiful latte art, and was like melted dark chocolate in my mouth. Service was absolutely amazing, free sparkling water was constantly topped up. It's basically a dessert cafe with a bit more variety, would go again to explore more of the menu when I'm craving something sweet. Came again a month later to try the ice-cream (gelato). Comes in a wide variety of gourmet flavours, including vegan options. Overpriced (charged me $14 for a double scoop), and the raspberry sorbet was very run-of-the-mill, but I think you're paying for the more original flavours like their rich chocolate flavours.

I'm not a dessert person but this place I highly recommend. A staff member whom (identified as Stevie) was extremely helpful and informative. She showed my mates and I photos of the dishes as well as her own recommendations. I was recommended the Nitro Balloon. Her recommendation was well found. I will return.

Love the matchamisu which was not too sweet and got beautiful matcha flavour. Ice cream’s always good, creamy and silky. But the chocolate cake that my friend had which did need to be improved because the combination of dark chocolate, coconut and raspberry just tasted so weird, bitter and sour, just weird. Dessert heaven!!! Went there a couple of times with girlfriends. Large selection of cake, gelato stick, chocolate, dessert plate etc. My favourite has to be the Balloon and the salted caramel sandae. Unfortunately the sundae flavour changes everyweek, I went back again for the sundae but it's no longer salted caramel...

Amazing food and great service! Love the ever changing menu, tantalising presentation and original ideas. The only downsides are that the inside seating area is quite cramped and at peak times you have to wait a considerable amount of time to get a table.

Miann has become one of our most visited dessert places since we moved to Auckland. They keep rotating their menu which is great - each rotation has something for you! My favorite is the white choc crème-brulee. It is the perfect level of sweetness and excitement rolled into one perfect dessert. The staff are extremely friendly and extremely helpful as trust me - IT is SO hard to pick ONE dessert when you want to eat them all. They have a wide assortment of decadent ice-creams (the cheesecake flavor is amazing), pastries and plated desserts. Do give it a try and you will not be disappointed.

How can a language provide words to describe the taste and texture of a perfectly wonderful hot chocolate? Then there is the cabinet full of wonderful temptations, deliciousness on a plate. You must try the tropical and the lemon meringue, if you have space there are so many more to try. Staff are efficient, friendly and appear to be unhurried but still provide timely service. The poached pear rice pudding was enormous but the pears were still very hard. The chocolate fondant was over cooked with only the slightest amount of gooey chocolate inside. The hot chocolate drinks were very sweet to the point of being sickly. It's a shame because we have heard great things about this place.

Wow, just wow. These are some of the best desserts and gelato I have ever had. Everything was amazing and we ended up going back 3 or 4 times on our week stay in auckland. We would eat one place then come here for dessert. Prices are good for what you get as well.

I visited on a busy Friday night to order their latest chocolate fondant creation. As always, I was impressed by their staff, who still managed to deliver superb service even with the large amount of guests that were there. The dessert itself was another fantastic dish from an endlessly creative team, and even if the flavours themselves didn't match my particular palette to the tee, it's the flair with which they innovate that I really admire. If there's one criticism that I would make, it's probably that the Head Chef could be friendlier, as he seemed to take my questions as challenges rather than genuine feedback. Staffs work hard but their system is not that arranged, so sometimes staffs are confused who ordered which foods. I can't say the foods here is super tasty but it's okay. Cosy place. Absolute treasure for dessert lovers. I judge places like this by their hot chocolate, and boy, did I thoroughly get my money's worth. One of the best hot chocolates I've had. So we gave them 3 star last yesr due to average flavour and service. Now we are back with 5 star after our visit on the 11th of July the flavour and quality of food. Had 6 macaroon and 4 mini cake. They were all so delicious and well paired with each other. All flavour complement each other well. The only thing I didnt quiet get is from Green tea cake was too much passionfruit flavour that it overpower the green tea. So shoudlnt called it green tea cake. Alaskan bomb ice cream was the bomb. The lemon meringue tart was amazing. But wish the meringue can be a bit soft and fluffy. It was a bit heavy. Tropical tart was super delicious and melt in your mouth. Tiramisu. However. Yeahhh too dark almost tasted burnt. But other than that you def win over my hesrt with your macaron so far
