K.Amazing dishes and attentive service. I adore the location and decor has been well thought out and perfect for the area.
We usually go for lunch and hopefully dinner sometime soon as I'm told the vibe is so different night vs day. Loving their heirloom tomatoes, picanha and delicious slow cooked on coals aged wagyu with bone marrow. My absolute star dish is their dessert, tres leche cake with smoked raspberries.
K.Absolutely fantastic evening. The food was exceptional. The flavours... superb. Service.. wonderful. Cannot wait to return but with more people so we can order more dishes and be able to have them all. The best food we have eaten in a very long time (covid aside). Wonderful atmosphere also.

I would recommend they add more to the menu on the main as 3 options is very limited

I wish i could reply to the owner but here is my reply:
Fresh produce well thats not true most of your food is pickled the chicken had nothing fresh with it
Also your rib eye was $85 for very small piece!!!! And lot of fat to make it look big
m.Exceeeellent vibes, outdoors but with rain protection just in case Auckland decides to be Auckland. We were seated close to the crackling fire which was a great decision; the sound and smell of the various drippings of the menu oozing on the gentle wooden glow, permeated the senses and encapsulated the body in a comfortable homely atmosphere. Almost as if I was back home in Peru with family and friends cooking up a BBQ, even though I'm not faintly South American, and I have no family or friends.
Anyway the highlights were how juicy the chicken was; seriously it was like Nando's on crack, but like better².
And the cake, omg the cake. Omg the cake. Just omg. Smokey, tart, sweet, and just omg.
At first it looks so unassuming but it wrapped up the night in a snide perfection, which it rightly deserves. Even if you're full, order it, you won't be disappointed (don't @ me tho).
There is a few more dishes from the night that I have pics of but tbh just order anything and it'll be good, I promise (don't @ me tho).
Oysters smoked, good.
Kingfish, good.
Rice and beans, good.
Just go. And go now. You won't regret it probably (don't @ me tho).
K.Good food and great location, Given three stars as the menu is very poor. Three main selections no stake is rather disappointing.
Service was attentive but rather rude and unprofessional.
A.Super lovely service & food came out quickly and was tasty. Great atmosphere & fit-out. Covid friendly venue as outdoor but with cover for winter. Plates are for sharing so great for a few people as a group.

G.Our family dined here on Saturday evening - 4th June 2022. What a fantastic dining experience! Beautiful raw oysters; kingfish; ceviche; smoky barbecue chicken and pork loin..Spreading the word to others who would like to venture out to old Victoria Park markets building and experience wonderful flavours of South American food!
