Level 3 takeaway experience review: I ordered on the spot and was told around 10 to 20 mins and was given a receipt. Lots of people ordering one after each other. They did not tell me if my food was ready, instead I went to ask after 20 mins. It was ready, but not sure how long it has been sitting there. Food was still very hot when I got home and good portion size and delicious

Pearl milk tea always the tastiest here compared to other places. I have forever got the best cooked Pearl's but elsewhere always half cooked in the centre. It's a shame there is not just a drinks chain out south auckland closer to me!

Good place to grab a casual bite. Decor is vastly improved after the reno. Extensive menu with good tea options. The teas I found to be excellent. Definitely a must have. The food is OK. Inexpensive too. The service is quite bad I found. Staff have a very glum demeanour and very uncommunicative. Food came out quickly enough. Parking is a major hassle with a lot of restaurants nearby it can be a absolute mission.

Got their fried rice, pork ribs and wanton noodle soup. Fried rice was bit salty and a bit oily for my preference. Pork ribs lacked the taste I was looking for and meat was not as tender as I liked it. My only favorite was the wanton noodles soup, partnered with chili oil and soy sauce makes for a perfect bed weather food!

Yummy food at a yummy price. Pad thai and crispy chicken are my fave. Good drinks and overall good menu to choose from. Place is nice when you walk in and service is quick. I prefer this one over the Newmarket branch.

Had dinner here. There are a lot of menu options for food and way more for drinks. The portions are massive so this is a great place to go off you are really hungry or want to share a meal.

The photos on the menu don't reflect actual dishes (the side of tofu for example no longer comes drizzled in sauce), the food came out in very strange ways (like 10 minutes between dishes), and overall it was just meh. Only come here for the drinks now which are always great

Since the last time I was here before th let refurbishment. This particular Momo Tea has gone a long way. The dishes are still made the same and has a lot of crunch. Will come back as the setting is welcoming and staff is great at this branch. Keep it up guys! Keep improving. Please bring back even just a limited bbq sticks menu!

A very popular place that opens till 11pm most nights, so a great place for late night munchies. Love the menu variety, and the prompt service.

Peach Nata with Popping balls is delicious! Beef tongue was too chewy and not tender, would not recommend. We came on Sunday evening and it was fairly quiet, the food came out pretty much instantly.

Fried noodles are very nice but sometimes the oil could be a bit too much, nonetheless still a very good place

The decor is much nicer now. I like the Pearl milk tea, and I had a nice refreshing passionfruit green tea. But I ordered a recommended dish, I think it was the chicken with spring onion. Anyway, don't get it, it was submerged in a slimy sauce and wasn't much like the picture in the menu. The noodle dishes look better, and maybe the deep fried dishes. It's a good place to go but perhaps the menu has too many average items.

Nice place! But guys, you should fix your flickering LED-lights behind the counter! And may be replace the skin of some of your sofas since they worn off quite badly. Prices are good, cooking and serving time was good. Taste nice, but need to make some chicken bites more meaty/juicy and more spices on that :)

This is a great restaurant, delicious mi goreng noodles and open late. Look forward to coming back for tea. I like the inside comfortable chairs

Great quality meals and interesting fusions. One thing about Momotea is that if you are looking to treat your taste buds with Asian influences than you will enjoy trying a meal there. Fusion of various flavors of Thai, Malaysian, Chinese and Indian cuisines. Whether Uber or dining in, it's a great 'go to' for friends and family catch ups.

I absolutely love the Boba Tea there! During my time in Auckland, I experimented with making boba tea, and I aimed for the type of boba they make at MomoTea. Since we live fairly close to MomoTea, that’s generally where we buy shop bought boba. We’re probably going to head to city soon to try out Chatime since my cousin works there. Definitely recommended for boba tea lovers. They have a wide variety of flavors for their boba.

I don't know why people complain about this place. I've been here alot and never had a bad experience. I've eaten all around the world and I still like the food here compared to a lot of places. Ignore all the fake fancy people and go try it for yourself. Some drinks are amazing and some I didn't like but that's down to personal preference. They are always open late so it's a relaxing place to go at night or I'm pretty sure they are also on uber eats.

Best bubble tea I've tasted outside Taiwan! With New Zealand milk and warm, sweet pearls, this is the real deal. Definitely worth going out of your way to enjoy their 珍珠奶茶. And they understood when I ordered in Chinese :)

Ridiculously quick service, ordered in store and walked out faster than my last trip to McDonalds. Reasonable portions, and polite service.

Really great place. Service is good. And recently renovated venue. Nice warm place to catch up with friends for Milk tea and hangs. Carpark spaces are very narrow and limited, so on a busy night. Just expect to park on the roadside 😊

Can't go wrong with momotea. Service was alright but food was good as per usual.

The service was not as good as the food we waited to be seated and had staff walk past us with out even a "one moment please" the table could of been wiped before we were seated, and we only had one set of cutlery. But worst of all the waiter grunted at us instead of actually using words. But the food was very taste cooked very well and presented in a nice way.

Food is great! Heaps of options for different tea, milkshakes, etc. We were quite surprised when we got our order as one Mains order was good for two to three people. Will come back definitely. Cheers!

The food use to be very good and good price. But I think over the years the quality had gone down but the price had gone up. the cue is pretty long for a lot of time as well. It is a good treat every now and then but not something people can afford all the time. One dish I recommend is the peach nata

Only had the milk tea, but it was really good. The staff was friendly and very efficient. Chocolate milk tea with pearls, yum!

Had the kung poa chicken it was really really good. But the Malaysian fried noodles was in my opinion, inedible due to this weird oiley bitter taste .

Don't be put off by the name if tea is not your thing. Momo Tea have a variety of hot and cold beverages including bubble tea, plus a great menu of Chinese and Malaysian cuisine. While the food is not super fantastic, it is still tasty and the drink selection is arguably one of the best. With opening hours till late, it is a popular spot for teens and is also family-friendly. Decent price and service, this place can get pretty busy and definitely worth checking out if you haven't been there.

Friendly place especially with little children. Clean toilet and polite staff. We ordered Malaysian mee goreng taste was good just wished the vege and meat were a bit more generous . Ordered salted fish fried rice - well balanced and generous portion.

Some pretty yummy food but you have to pick your times in the evening as it gets really busy and noisy sometimes and you have to wait for a table. The food is pretty nice and the drinks awesome. The atmosphere is family orientated but the furnishings and walls are a bit worse for wear. Needs a touch up.

Fast service, good range of food. It is oily for some people, but it is what it is. Family friendly place and big portions to share. Usual dishes are: salted crunchy chicken pieces, deep fried tofu, salted fish and chicken fried rice, seafood combination, Momo red bean ice, peach nata, taro milkshake.

Get the taro milkshake with pearls. Thank me later.

Nice food + huge portions and the newly furnished decor looks great. A little slow on waiting each table though. Felt ourself waiting a long time to order food. But overall a pleasant experience.

Good food , great service

The place has become a bit rundown since it first opened, but the food and drinks are still great. The milk tea, yogurt drink and nata series are delicious, as for food, the chicken noodles, spring onion and ginger chicken, as well as deep fried tofu and chicken sticks are wonderful. Decent sized plates for the prices paid.

Came here a couple of weeks ago. My first time coming here since the renovation. Not as great as before. Food is in smaller quantities and overpriced. The staff is still quite rude. Only thing that's good about here is the aesthetics.

Soft opening - not full opening hours as before the renovations. We (5 ppl) went on a Tues, open from 5pm to 1am. Love the new look. Food and drinks good as before however served not at the same time. Half of us would get our drinks, then 10 mins the rest. Then 10 mins between each dish served. Otherwise was a good.

Pros: Food is great. Drinks are great. Service is great. Prices are reasonable. Cons: Toilets are horrible. Can't pay with credit card. Place has really loud music at night.

Good bubble tea but I don’t like waiting over 20 minutes to be served, especially when all the menus were closed and stacked and I made multiple eye contacts with staff to say I’m ready.

If you love Japanese food, newly refurbished place in Howick will not disappoint you. Foods are reasonably priced and taste are great to comeback for more.

Very nice looking store, however there isn't much space to walk around if you want get some silver wear. Putting that aside the Food is good quality in taste and price.

Their original milk tea is nice. Alsor recommend the salt and pepper crunchy chicken pieces.
