Polite and friendly service. Pasta is made to order, but still made very quickly! Prices are also very cheap for the amount of pasta you get. I ordered a regular bolognese with macaroni and there was so much pasta for one person- at least one and half servings. I was left stuffed
I have had a lot of pasta in my life, but I must say that their bolognese is the most delicious pasta I’ve ever had. The meat sauce is just perfectly tangy with the beef mince, and sticks nicely to every piece of macaroni. I absolutely love the macaroni shape they serve. Although initially I thought there was a lot of cheese, it was the perfect amount. Overall, each bite of pasta was perfect.
Totally worth it! I must come again and try their garlic brioche! Hope they open a franchise in Smales Farm sometime- I will come everyday!!
K.Pasta from Needo is delicious, I'll definitely go back for more. The marinara sauce tastes so fresh and the mushroom sauce has a nice rich flavour. I would recommend this to anyone to try.

Ordered the creamy mushroom pasta, small size was more the enough for me. Garnished with a generous amount of parmesan, pasta was al dente, sauce was so good... and it cost me only $10!

T.I'm always partial to pasta places...
But NEEDO is by far one of the best pasta places I've come across! Their Lamb Ragu is always beautiful - and I struggle to let myself try anything else on their menu, because it's always delicious!
ALWAYS stop at Commercial Bay Harbour Eats for my NEEDO fix when ever I'm in Auckland!
Only thing I think they could improve on, is utilising wooden forks like some other places do, rather than their current plastic ones.

A.The most fantastic fresh pasta place we were fortunate to stumble across. The staff are polite and efficient and the pasta is some of the best I've ever tasted while also being super quick to serve! Whether you try the fresh spaghetti or macaroni, you won't be disappointed with any of the sauces.

M.Needo prepared 22 pasta dishes for our work lunch. All meals were well received and all 22 of my colleagues thoroughly enjoyed them. The pasta dishes prepared were still warm and all had soooo much flavour and decent size portions. Thank you Needo, defintely will order from you again :)

E.Every day that I have work in the city I make sure to put aside at least $6 to get pasta from here, it is hands down the best pasta place in all of Auckland!! Heck I've been to Italy and the pasta isn't as good as it is here!! High recommend the bolognese, or for those on a cheaper budget the tomato small is less than $6 and oh my Lord you can taste the freshness. Only downside is now I eat so much pasta I'm getting fat!😂😂

T.Hot, quick, fresh, great value! I really want to give this place 5 stars! My only issue is that the food is extremely salty. I drink water like a fish for the rest of the afternoon. I've only tried the mushroom sauce, so perhaps the others aren't so bad.
D.You have to wait a little while after ordering, but it is totally worth it and the pasta is just heavenly! Their Niesh app discount is what brought me to this place and it's now my go-to place for a $5 lunch. Service is always nice as well. Thanks!
M.If you're a student, coming here with the Niesh app is a blast. They're not that great if you're looking for something cheap and healthy, but you do get quite a big serving for what you pay for. Taste was pretty good, as well as friendly service. Pasta is made and cut on the spot, which is nice.

I love the fresh pasta and simple tomato based sauce. Not overpowering nor acidic. Now this is my first stop before anything else. Plus the best deal around.

K.Good Pasta, but not as good as discribed from many others here on google ;) you can choose from ca. 6 different kind of sauce (carbonara, bolognese, tomato etc). You get cheese with it (Mozzarella or Parmesan), extra cheese costs extra. A Medium size Box costs about 10$, depending on the sauce.
The Pasta (maccaroni) is made fresh, but there is no other kind of Pasta to choose from.
Good thing is that it is served in a paper box! But why the plastic fork tho? ;-P.
