A.Friendly people. Super tasty food, highly recommended Wonton noodle soup, Char Kwan teow, beef rendang, chicken curry nang bread…..love their Malaysian food
E.Authentic Malaysian food especially the char kuey teow (as a Malaysian, I can confirm that). Big portions, reasonable prices. Chef used to work in a hotel. Husband & wife team. Ample parking at the rear if you go at night.
Q.Authentic Malaysian taste with normal café fare to boot. Owner/staff were friendly and accommodating. Parking spaces reasonable. Sufficient heat in the dishes (as expected of Malaysian cuisine) which is rare to see in New Zealand. Definitely give it a go if you're keen for some Malaysian dishes!

Y.Friendly staff, bright and airy cafe with single seating along the wall benches. Chocolate brownie ($2) was quite a tiny square, but absolutely worth it - so delicious. Noodle servings are huge and generous - one Fried Kuay Teow ($9.50) is enough for 2 people. The flavour was a little bit lacking - maybe needed more seasoning, more fish sauce? I'll be back to try the other dishes.
Tip: Phone your order ahead to avoid the wait, this place is very popular at lunch time.

C.Great Malaysian food. The burger is only 5 bucks, meat isnt great but has an egg and is a tasty inexpensive burger. Owners/operators are nice people, they're busy though so sometimes you have to call a few times, but they're still quick. I go here often, great place.

A.I've only been here once but the food was excellent, it came out really quickly and the staff are incredibly friendly, lovely no fuss really easy service. Tasty Malaysian dishes, larger servings than other Malaysian places I go to. I'll definitely go back, a great neighborhood place.

E.This restaurant was absolutely wonderful! The owners are super sweet and hospitable. My family and I came here on two different occasions during our stay in Auckland, and I can’t recommend it enough. The portions are huge, and all of the Malaysian and Singaporean stir fry noodles are delicious. I also enjoyed the fish ball noodle soup which came with tons of fish balls/cake and vegetables. They also gave us recommendations of things to do in the city which was very kind! They also do take-out, which is really convienent!

It was great to meet Mandy and Brian- lovely friendly owners. Will definitely be back, especially since I live just round the corner. Added to the speed dial!! :)

C.Easily the best cafe in the area. Prices are beyond reasonable and the quality is top notch. If I ever tire of the eggs benny then that will be the day I lost all joy in life. The malaysian menu is perfect (try the beef rendang) and the service is quick, friendly, warm and inviting. I purposely come out of my way to visit regularly
N.I go there especially for the meat pies and smoothies. It's a small place so things can get cramped during those peak hours but the food quality is better than what I'd have expected from a small inconspicuous cafe on the side of the road.
They also do a damned good burger.

A.Best pork free Malaysian food you can find near the city. Must try dishes are char koey teow, wa tan hor, mee goreng, Yong chow fried rice and their nasi lemak. Even their burger and fries are delish. Be warned though, they're very busy during lunch hours!
P.Probably not 5 star but certainly better than 4. The coffee and sandwiches are above average but the real winner is the Malaysian food here. Good service and reasonably priced.
L.Outstanding Chat Keuy Teow - just missing the pork crackling bits as they serve Halal food. The Sambal is exceptional! Authentic Malaysian - delicious! Will be a regular here for sure. Open for dinner too and handy for takeaway if you order by phone you can park quickly in their carpark, pick up and go.
