Love the ambience.. love the food.. everything was great but still can't give 5.. its like 4.5 for me.. can I recommend this to others ? definitely.. will I go again definitely but still I can't put a finger on what's missing. But something is missing..

Easily a 10/10 experience. Great atmosphere, prices and portion sizes. The food is utterly amazing and is to die for (see pictures). The best pork belly I've ever had. Service isn't lacking either, I was accidentally given a pizza instead of my order and the staff gave us the pizza for free and brought back the correct order as well. 10/10 would recommend to anyone. Great experience.

Delicious ! I was living in Wellington and i moved to Auckland recently. I was looking for a real Italian place to eat and it was not disappointed when I found Non solo. I took a gf nerano pizza😋 it was perfect ! Can't wait to go there in L2 for a dine-in. The service was perfect and it was very easy to order online.

Very, very expensive for what you get, and omg so loud. Authentically Italian (but that's not always a good thing), and yes, it's another Parnell place To Be Seen, rather than somewhere focused on the food or the customer. The mistaking of noise for atmosphere is never a good coffee.

If there were 10 stars, I'd give it a solid ten. Hands down best authentic Italian Resturant I've been to. I can't fret enough!! Everyone HAS to come visit atleast once in their lifetime because the food here is nothing I've tried before. The commitment and love was present through every single dish I ordered. Staff, ever so generous and kind. I need to come back ASAP!!! Tip: make a reservation or else you will be waiting your whole entire life for a seat since it is v busy.

Wonderful dinner! We were tourists in a smaller town and believe that it was worth the visit. Time was well spent laughing and chatting over exquisite food and drink. Many other guests also opted to join us in the outdoor seating area. Would recommend for groups to come and share in classic dishes. Wish we could eat more! All our servers were so kind and efficient.

A nice place tucked away on Parnell street with an extensive menu so many choices and great dessert. I enjoyed the coffee but it is very strong The draw back was the taste of the salami on the pizza it was not very nice. Expense $$$

This is not at all the kind of atmosphere I expected when hearing of a great pizza place in Parnell, and this is a good thing (well, depending on your perspectives of fine dining, but this is Parnell so it's pretty on-brand). This is a very well presented Italian dining experience full of marble, wood, stone, etc throughout and of course with the big stone pizza ovens. There's a massive inside dining area, a secluded party room, and then lots of outdoor seating too with its own bar. Now, given my prior quip about this being Parnell, I wasn't too surprised by our party getting some very disgusted patron looks towards the young kids who were with us, but while some were uptight, others were fine... especially the wait staff who were entirely welcoming and friendly to us and the kids and able to handle the group of like 20. And lastly, of course the pizza and food since I haven't even talked about it yet were delicious, so what are you waiting for? Come down to have a cocktail outside then share a pizza or other plates.

Great place for an authentic Italian pizza. There are 2 parts to NSP. The front you're able to make your own pizza and the back has the set menu. We had pizza in the front. The is a good selection of ingredients to choose from. We'll definitely be back

Visiting from India, we spent New Year's eve at NSP for dinner. Great food, superb drinks and amazing service. The place has a great ambience and vibe as well. Slightly expensive, but would recommend visiting it highly for a special occasion.

We visited NSP after work for an impromptu catch up dinner and immediately I was impressed by the beautiful courtyard alfresco dining area of the restaurant with its living walls of greenery and foliage amidst water features. The staff was very warming, inviting and welcoming. For my starter, I went with chicken and spinach ravioli in tomato sauce. Flavours were so vibrant, herbaceous, not to mention mouth watering. Following on, I had chargrilled herb lemon chicken with brocollini at the recommendation of my waitress and I was highly impressed. To accompany my dishes I tried a glass of La Valentina Montepulciano and a Tellus Falesco Syrah and these were divine. Finishing up, at the recommendation again of staff, I tried the chocolate fondant. Talk about delectable indulgence on a spoon! NSP was an amazing dining experience for its ambience, food, wine and unforgettably exceptional service. Highly recommended with distinction!

If you are looking for authentic fresh Italian pasta then this is a beautiful place to go in the heart of Parnell. You will definitely not be disappointed with the wide yummy selection. Make sure you walk inside as the restaurant is big and nice. There is a nice wine selection and if unsure you can ask for suggestions. This is the second year in arrow we booked for my daughter's birthday and always impressed with the food and service.

Ok... so I had really high expectations for this place. Everyone told me it was the best and I LOVE good Italian food and my wife booked it as a spontaneous date night. It's beautiful when we first arrive. Tucked away off the main drag, you walk down this hallway and when you get to the back, it opens to this massive, open outdoor space. Really lovely. It's also got a bunch of people, which gives the place a great feel. Lots of people having a great time. We had a drink at the bar before being seated, which was tasty. I had a glass of Prosecco. So far so good. We get taken to the table and our server is excellent. Nice guy, very professional, very friendly, and also quite funny. Ambiance, service, and environment are all on point. The three stars comes down to the meal. We started w the polpette and arancini. It was good, but not great. Polpette were a bit dry and the sauce wasn't rich enough to overcome. The arancini used a saffron risotto, which was a little different, but they weren't creamy enough to stand on their own and the sauce wasn't enough to offset that. Tasty though. Our mains we ordered the ravioli and Mediterranean pizza. I enjoyed the ravioli! Delicious sauce and great filling. My main feeling was about the toughness of the pasta. For house made, it wasn't really melty. The pizza itself was amazing. Texture, taste, and size all delivered. The toppings were a major let down. They smoke the bacon, which is fine, but then it's PILED on. Like. Mountain of bacon that isn't really all that crispy bc it's been smoked. We wound up taking almost all of it off to just eat the pie underneath. For dessert, we had the chocolate fondant. It was epic. Delicious. No complaints. A must get. For the price point, we expected more, so I'm giving it 3 stars at this point. It could easily have been an off night, or we just had such high expectations that it kind of brought us back to earth. Either way, this is a local favorite and you should definitely go try for yourself! PS bc of how disappointed we were w the pizza, they comped it for us, which was extremely generous given that it's a personal taste thing.

The food was excellent in taste and the service was excellent. However the pasta potion size was very small for a main. Only 6-7 pieces with minimal sauce. And the pizzas had not been cut into portions properly. Was a bit of a workout to cut it up on a slippery porcelain plate. For the price you pay, this needed more attention to detail. Otherwise, the rest of the food, the staff and the night out were exceptional.

THE BEST sosage roll I have ever had in my life. With each bite the vlavour burst in your mouth and lickles all the sensors in your mouth.......feels like little fairys dancing on your tongue. Complements to the chef!

Lovely setting with a beautiful courtyard but the food was pretty average. We had the lobster bruschetta which was good and tasted fresh but mains which included crayfish ravioli and scampi linguine were pretty average, and actually disappointing as we had come here for the first time for a family birthday celebration. Kids pizza was good though! Waitress could have been friendlier. Overall not a memorable experience.

This is a wonderful and romantic restaurant to take someone. It is a little pricey and there is an expectation of a tip but the food and service match the class of the place. The pizzas (pictured) were phenomenal and the service was rapid despite the place being incredibly busy. The only reason I have taken off one star is that the tables are too close together. They have gone to a lot of effort to create a pleasant ambience that promotes relaxation without sacrificing a subtle touch of class but the noise created by the cramped table arrangements meant having a conversation at reasonable volumes was difficult. Aside from that everything was fabulous.

I going to run out of superlatives to describe this restaurant. The setting is amazing high ceiling room with nice soft tones on the walls. Music was present but non-obtrusive. Our waiter, italian by birth, was very helpful in navigating the menu. As vegetarian it was easy to find a suitable choice. The french rose' 🍷was refreshing on the palate. The food was well presented, well proportioned and flavourful. Well priced for inner city Auckland. 11/10 will go back again

Popped in at lunch with a friend without a booking on the off chance of a spare table. Very lucky to get one. Food fantastic and staff absolutely delightful. Had calamari and panacotta. Went with a group of people for lunch, the food was delicious and pizza was awesome. The only comment that can be improved on is the friendliness of the waitress and waiters, their expressions most of the time was unhappy looking and trying to catch their eye to get another drink was difficult, they were always looking down and turning away quickly. If they looked up and checked the room for others who want their attention, plus a smile or two, then I would of given a 5 star rating.

Mixed reviews from the diners in my party. My friend had a margherita pizza and enjoyed it and I got a prosciutto pizza and it was not great. My pizza had mushrooms on it when it doesn't state that on the menu, and the centre was very soggy. I also think $6 for very little soda isn't worth it but it depends on your expectations for a restaurant. Overall I wouldn't recommend but I think if you're older and fancier it might be the place for you.

Come on guys! Surely you can do better! Much better! You are a very slight shade of NSP! In fact not NSP at all but some sort of disguised imposter! We were looking forward all week to returning to our favourite ‘local’ only to be severely disappointed. A seriously lacking menu, with wine list to match. Luke warm pasta is what I was served, and it was tasteless. We were kindly offered complimentary Antipasti which was delicious, but then we got charged for these x 2, plus an extra beer which we hadn’t ordered. And perhaps they hadn’t noticed that the world is experiencing a major pandemic, there was no evidence which made me a bit uncomfortable, and though restaurant requirements in level 2.5 states tables served by a single server, we were served by 6 friendly, and all new staff. We had a disenchanting and dissatisfying night and won’t be in a hurry to return. Perhaps they best change the name then the expectations would not be so high!

The syrah was drinkable, the atmosphere convivial, but the surly waitress and the loud unmemorable music spoilt it for me. Would I visit again? Probably not. Plenty of better eateries around Parnell.

Enjoyed a very nice dinner here with friends. Extensive food and wine list, albeit on the pricey side. Don't be put off by what looks like a small bar at the front. The restaurant is out the back, and is of excellent size and quality. The wait staff are always on hand when required, and nothing seems to phase them. Enjoyable - with good company.

I had a fantastic dinner tonight with my partner, we and a selection of antipasti, bruschetta with lobster was amazing, also amazing the crudo plate. I had main linguine scampi and they were awesome! Super tasty, pasta and fish perfectly cooked! My partner had the snapper and also that was perfect. Staff super friendly and always taking care of us even in a busy night. We will definitely go back ASAP, cant wait!!!

One of my favorite Italian restaurants in the world. I’ve eaten in Italy and the food here is better. Add to that many of the staff are Italian and well versed in the wine and drink pairings for the food. The bar is beautifully laid out and has an active and engaged vibe. Dined here with my gf the other night and loved the atmosphere. Doesn't look like much from the outside, as it's just a bar at the front, but opens up as soon as you walk in. Loved the outdoor seating area. Looks ideal for warmer months. Service was pretty decent. Pizza tasted great and didn't take too long to arrive. My ravioli couldn't been bigger portion wise, but tasted good. We asked to move inside later cause it started getting cooler and were easily seated. Grabbed another pizza, as wasn't full from my previous meal. Cool Wood fired oven inside. Attentiveness and service could be improved a bit. Otherwise a good experience.

This is the best pizzeria in town. I am Italian and tried many restaurants but there is no other that offers good pizza, nice service and atmosphere. Outstanding! The GM, sales and marketing people from our company eat long lunches here so I deicided to try it out to impress the missus even though it's a little out of my budget. Beautiful ambience. Food is like any other Italian restaurant. Trivial menu if pizza, pasta, and main courses, nothing different from other Italian restaurants... Gluten free bread below expectation. The seat of women's toilet is yellow ish, stained over time. Matre De chewing gum while dealing with us... One waiter with smell of cigarette when serving us. Italian waiter very friendly.

We were there on a busy Saturday night, reservations essential. Mostly the food was great. One pizza however was just plain weird, but that was an anomaly. Service was just ok, we didn't have the menu explained and they were quite slow to clear plates. I suspect a symptom of a busy night. This restaurant has survived in a highly competitive space for years so generally it will be good.

Remember to savour your experience. Managed by a true hospitality genius, this landmark remains as safe a bet as ever. Airily comfortable year-round and efficiently staffed, you can dine either intimately or raucously in safe hands. Some happy regulars literally close their eyes and point at the menu with confidence. Even if you're not quite so adventurous, make sure you sit back occasionally while eating to observe real grace and rigour as every meal is tabled. Specialising in authentic Italian flavour profiles and atmosphere isn't easy this far from the Mediterranean.

It's okay food, I didn't like my risotto with seafood. It was too fishy and salty, there were no scalops in it and shimps were microscopic, rice was not the right one for risotto. Too bad and overpriced. However I have experienced the best service and atmosphere that you can find in New Zealand. Summary impression: maybe will come back after few years... not happy.

A great, authentic Italian restaurant tucked away off Parnell's main road. While the entrance is relatively unassuming, the restaurant has a number of great spaces, with a fantastic courtyard for when the weather is good (and complete with heaters, in case there is a bit of a chill). The food selection is great, with a range of pizza, pasta and other Italian dishes. The wine menu has a strong selection of wines, both from New Zealand and further afield.

Non Solo (Not Only) Pizza is a great Italian restaurant in the heart of Parnell. As the name suggests it has a good selection of Italian food (not just pizza), wine & beer and also several NZ wines from their own winery on Waiheke Island. Plenty of chef specials and staff very knowledgeable and helpful, which does come with an expectation of a tip, but it is worth it. Really nice surroundings and much bigger than it looks from the outside. A little pricey, but good for a special occasion.

Have had two wonderful dining experiences at Non Solo. Tonight (the second) the waitstaff went above and beyond to make sure my (hugely energetic) 1 year old was happy and occupied. The food was immaculate, reasonably fast for a busy night and the bathrooms are really beautiful and smell amazing!
