Super super delicious food, just like Mom's cooking! Always clean and tidy at this restaurant. The host Jason and wife are really great people, friendly and cordial. We have been coming here for yummy food since 2013 and how time flies! Highly recommended to all Takapuna locals! Keep up the good work, guys!

This is best place to enjoy authentic Cantonese cuisine (some call it Hong Kong style). We have been have great meals since 2014 or so. Jason is a very cheerful host and always smiling when serving the customer. The price is a classified as "affordable" for poor Uni student like me. Food here are serviced warm and quick, the restaurant have ample seats and table. On top of that, this place is always clean and tiny. I highly recommend you all to tray out some of the yummy Cantonese dishes at Noodle Canteen, Takapuna. Cheers and take care Jason and crew members!

HONEY CHICKEN! This is the first place in New Zealand that I have found honey chicken similar to what I am used to in the US. The portions are fair and the prices are reasonable. The fried rice was very tasty and delicious. But the highlight here is definitely the honey chicken. I will go out of my way to come back to this noodle canteen!

Went there becos Birkenhead was closed. Ordered 2 Honey soy chicken (No. 17) Wrong noodles used which makes a big difference in texture. Honey Soy chicken don't taste the same as Birkenheads. Get something other than the honey soy chicken. Good, fast service.

Very friendly boss is there, he remembers what I always eat (My favorite food is pork on rice). The food quantities are really enough, sometimes I take away one meal for two times of meals. Very tasty, and nice cheap price.

The food is okay for the price - it’s fast and it’s cheap. In my experience, the staff are friendly and make an effort to understand and speak English. You can tweak your order to suit your preferences and watch them make it - the vegetables appear fresh. It’s not 5 stars but it doesn’t pretend to be either. I can recommend their Singapore Fried Rice, Sweet & Sour Pork and the roast duck which hang sadly in the window.

The best Noodle Canteen we've come across. Every dish we've tried is delicious, good amount of sauce, vegetables and meat. When ordering the roast pork alone, would prefer it to still be warm/hot. About 50/50 chance of getting cold pork.

Good food. Reasonable portions. Good pricing. Owners are great. Not a super flash facility, but very good nonetheless. Used to come here more often while I worked locally.

Delicious BBQ meats and duck with noodles. Very welcoming. Humble little shop but full of flavour. Will be back soon.

You have to try the tomyum fried rice. Get the extra chicken too!! You wont go wrong. Get in at least once a month.
