L.Crispy and tasty chips, the fish was very good. I highly recommend their delicious chicken burgers. Wedges cooked to perfection. And the staffs there are super friendly.
M.Fresh fish, yummy chips and burgers. The prices are higher than normal. However you are getting high quality fish and chips. What you would get if you were in a restaurant. Except you get it take it away and eat it on the beach. Win win.
A.Delicious banana blossom “fish” and chips, with extra mushroom “squid”. Soooo good and so well-priced for a decent portion. Partner had the vegan burger and was just as good.
V.Had a fish burger for takeaway from here yesterday and determined that I may just drive from Auckland central to have again! The fish was fresh and lightly cooked. The whole burger was delicious and the perfect accompaniment meal to beach seating whilst watching the surf. Wouldn’t go anywhere else for a burger. Just wish I’d taken a photo
H.Love this fish and chip shop!!!!! So sweet that there's a spot offering vegan fish and chips PLUS vegan squid and potato fritters!!!!!!! Gotta order ahead at busy times but the wait is heaps worth it. Friendly as team and value for money in a major way! Keep it uuuuuuuup! 🌞👌🏼❤💥
L.I have eaten 3 times in the last month. It is the best battered snapper I have ever had anywhere in the country. Its seriously good. Fresh, tender light crispy batter, and a good size. Their chips are good too. I will have to try their potato fritters next. Only suggestion so far is that they get a bigger selection of cold drinks please.
D.Superb food. Really fresh fish and thin, crispy batter. The chips are addictive. The paua fritter was lovely and chunky, and I liked that it was offered grilled or deep-fried.
M.Best fish and chips I’ve had! Doesn’t leave you greasy and feeling oily and the fish is super fresh! The fish is cooked with a panko coating but you can also choose to have it battered and deep fried. Definitely recommend the fish burger as well.
R.We went to newly opened F&C shop. (Orewa Bch) The chips were great, really nice but smaller amount & the sausages were alot smaller than our normal shop but nicer. The potato fritters we didn't like, we think made from mashed potato. The cost was up from $13 something to $18. Even though it was nicer it wasn't that much nicer to pay nearly an extra $5 for. Sorry but we'll stick to our normal chippie.
A.The fish was absolutely beautiful, couldn't fault it, but was unimpressed by the chips. We bought a scoop and a half but only received half a scoop, and the portion was tiny for the price. Chips tasted good but not sure I'd pay $6 for a tiny scoop again.
J.The whole family enjoyed their meals, and the best part for me was being able to order a vegan meal from the fish and chip shop so I didn't have to go to two different places. The vegan burger is amazing! And awesome service :) Thank you!

The $10/6 "scallops" tasted great however I've never seen 6 perfectly round scallops before. It was suggested my a friend that these maybe reconstituted or possibly even sting ray?
I.The quality of fish, chips and burgers are the best i have ever tasted.
The cheese burger is like the perfect balance between homemade and restaurant quality.
The customer service is number one.
I go there at least twice a month.

D.We got takeaways for a beach picnic during lockdown level 3.1 and loved the snapper it was fat and juicy like I remember from years ago. It a bit expensive for my budget, but as it was a treat day it was well worth it for the snapper alone. I'll be back!
S.This place does theee best fish and chips. You can choose between 3 different ways to have the and 3 different seasonings to have on the chips. Hubby and I just love it.
