I've seen this place for years now, and despite reading a lot of positive reviews, I hadn't gotten around to trying it. Well, recently I did and I was not disappointed. First off, I really like the ambiance and interior of the restaurant. It's way nicer here than any of the other local restaurants. The staff is friendly and there are several good choices on the menu. Though a word of caution. I had the medium and it was almost too much for me. It was really good, but really spicy (next time I'll have something a bit less). If you like chicken this is definitely a place you need to try!

This place is amazing. The chicken and waffles is almost perfect to balance the hotness. Different spice levels to choose from. I've tried the mild, medium, hot. Someday, hopefully can actually eat the "holy cluck". You might have to wait around 25 to 30 minutes on the weekends, but the food is well worth the wait. Recommend trying the Peach's hot chicken experience.

Any time this place is open its always packed, which is a reflection of the great food and service they provide. The chicken is just so crispy and juicy that it just melted in your mouth. The Mac n cheese was also pretty good. One of the best fried chicken spots in Auckland in my opinion. Highly recommended!!

Arrived at 2pm on a sunday and the restaurant was packed, greeted instantly by a friendly staff member,seated outside and turned the heater on. Sweet zesty pickles spot on and moreish garnished with half a pickled habanero?or ghost pepper....( bit shy to bite into it) Mac and cheese was full flavored and cheesy with a hint of spice not heavy. Chicken skin was fantastic crispy and a taste explosion, juicy and moist, wished I ordered the gravy to dip my chicken , good reason to try more chicken next time, I ordered lil dark one thigh and drum stick, seasoned HOT, as I had already had yum cha at 1pm , definitely could have eaten more VERY DELICIOUS, not outrageously hot very edible, spicy was not overpowering and slight a sweetness. Beer and pickles for sale at counter. Order via online, no delivery.

Had this after trying Soul Shack in Wellington. tl;dr Soul Shack is slightly better. Wings here were nice and crispy with a decent level of spice. Just like Soul Shack, very grainy with the outer coating. The burger was just too messy and things were falling out. The chicken in it was a bit try and the chicken was not the star of the show. Jalapeno balls were average, as it was just full of cheese and no Jalapeno kick. The best thing about this place is the variety they have. Lots of options. The only comment about the menu would be to be able to order individual wings, as I wouldn't to try different spice levels.

My favourite fried chicken joint in Auckland. Crispy and juicy chicken and tossed in spicy herbs and seasoning. I love their dark plates, chicken and waffles and their OG burger with tater tots and mac and cheese! They do online ordering for takeaway and is recommended because there is limited seating inside

Customer service is amazing, the vibe is chill and relaxing 😌 and the food is 10/10. 100% recommend dropping by and grabbing something to eat here. Also great for a date or hang out w/ friends. The set out and interior is awesome and accessible for people with wheelchair's.

We had the OG burger medium spice level, braised greens, and jalapeño cheese balls. The chicken was succulent and interestingly spiced. The brioche bun was sweet and buttery. We're not strangers to heat and can say the medium spice was properly spicy. The sides were both impressively tasty - the braised greens came with corned beef. Really generous portions. We'll be back.

Pricy but decent, heavily spiced chicken that tastes good. Had medium chicken burger and was hot enough. Also had the beans and bacon which did not look appetizing but tasted alright.

Got the Baller burger and the Og Burger $17 and $15.50 The baller burger was YUMM because it had coleslaw in it and had a nice flavour with the spicy sauce. I got the Og burger with no heat and it kind of reminded me of just chicken and bread. Had no flavour which was kinda sad for the price. Didn't finish it because the brioche just didn't go well for some reason. Got x2 chicken and waffles $17, each, it was yummy as but wish the skin was crisper because I'm about crunchy textures, I didnt like the little fatty parts on it. Apart from that was Yum. Mac n cheese was a bit pasty tastin and a bit small portion for me $7 fries are like mcdz fries $7 Potato gravy was yum $7 Peanut butter pie x3 $10 each was probably the highlight out of the whole meal. Perfect texture, nice size for each piece but next time I'll get a whole cake. All together was around $120. So I'll be back for only the waffles n chicken and a pie.

Burgers and just amazing. Bun toasted well and when it says hot it's actually hot and don't mess with holy cluck unless you can actually handle heat 😅😅. If you have never been there. Give them a go, you will not regret it 🤙🏽🤙🏽 Well done team

Always a great time here - The chicken and waffles at the "Hot" spice level is my go to. They come with a really crispy, perfectly spiced batter and the waffles are crunchy. The ambience is also really chill and staff are super friendly :)

Can't go wrong with Peach's! Super delicious especially when you are eating in and getting it super hot and fresh. Pictured is the chicken n waffles, chicken n biscuit, og sandwich, baller sandwich, Mac n cheese. Waffles can get quite heavy, so recommend something fresh on the side to cut through the fat. Burgers are delish, def get some spice to kick it up flavor wise! We ordered take away once and took it to the burger king carpark to eat which isn't too far, not sure if it's because it was in the box for a little bit but it was super greasy and hard to eat that time. Still would come back though, when my waistline allows lol.

We put an online order through in the morning of the day to pick up at 3pm, for 2 orders of Big Dark with varying spice levels (medium, hot). I got a braised greens side, and my friend for shoestring fries. Pickup was delayed about ~20 mins, but they gave us a Peanut Mousse Pie to make up for the wait time. Last time I dined in, we had people push in front of us when we were waiting for a table, and when we finally got a table we waited ~40mins for food after ordering (and they were out of dark meat). The braised greens were SO SALTY by itself.... I totally recommend you eat it with rice as the flavour is then more balanced out and not as overly salted and much more enjoyable. This is what I ended up doing with the leftovers lol. Shoestring fries were crispy and not greasy. Came with ketchup. For the chicken itself.... Hot was about my max level of tolerance. One piece is enough, I had the medium for the second piece and boy did it enter the burning pain stage halfway through the second piece. The skin was relatively crispy but no crunch; the inside didn't have much flavour, wasn't juicy - just moist. Because the skin was so intensely spiced it works well with the unflavoured flesh. It wasn't too greasy which was great. I have to agree with some reviewers that the chicken is only flavourful the more spicier it is. I liked the pickles though. Just a heads up, 1 hot chicken piece is enough to give my tummy the burning sensation after eating it (so 1 piece a day is my limit). For me, I can see why people like this chicken but it doesn't make it onto my list of awesome fried chooky. I don't really get the hype. I'm happy that Peaches has found their niche but for me personally, I wouldn't choose to eat here again for fried chooky if I could choose. What I would come back for, is the peanut mousse pie. That was a satisfying dessert. Rich but not too rich, peanut candied nice and crunchy, and balanced flavour profile for the mousse and cream.

It was a very nice experience. Had Waffles and baller sandwiches earlier... They were amazing!!! Someone who craves spicy fast foods should definitely try it out. Also, the staffs working there were incredibly friendly and served the food fresh & hot within a short time. Overall, a 5 star experience for me and my family ❤️

One of the best hot chicken place in Auckland. We tried both hot and medium (spicy level). We normally love very spicy food, but we found that medium is more enjoyable. Chicken cooked perfect, juicy and tasty. We're not brave enough to try the holy cluck yet😅

Really enjoyed our casual dine in here on a Friday evening. The customer service was superb, we had different servers checking in on us every now and then. Even the owner came out to see how our experience was. As a customer for me this is what I look for in terms of overall dining experience. Now the food, if you're a burger, chicken and dessert person. This place is it! Their dessert for me personally was out of this world. Peanut mousse pie and banana pudding was divine! Do you like eating chicken.. then this is the place to be. There is a lot of street parking i parked right out side about 120minutes. The place is compact and filled up fast when I was there on a Thursday evening 6pm. I ordered the Baller sandwich a boneless chicken thigh .. you can choose on to spicy you like your chicken mild to 💥. Check out the menu was comes with it 😋. A hamburger 🍔 and it was delicious the cost $17.00 . The place was full and the noise level was quite high and seating close together. A good experience and would go again.

I was the first to order once the shop opened and it took 30 minutes to get my order ready. The chicken pieces inside the burger is soggy not crunchy, giving the burger really poor texture. It’s pretty good.. I’d seen and heard so much across social media about Peach’s Hot Chicken and finally made the trip out to Panmure to give it a try. I found the brioche a bit too sweet, and the chicken lacking in flavour if I’m honest. It wasn’t at all bad, though. I appreciated that the spice levels weren’t just the standard mild, medium and hot but there were some additional steps to find the level you’re comfortable with. However, I picked “mild plus” and felt zero spice and I’m guessing that is where most the flavour is. So next time I’ll go a good couple of steps higher to see if I enjoy it more. The other good thing is the amount of chicken they cram into their sandwich. Really good value from that perspective.

The chicken was well cooked and the level of spice (medium) was perfect for me. I loved how crispy the coating was on the outside, but it was super salty so I couldn't eat much of it. Sadly, I had to peel off some of the skin which is my favourite part and only eat the chicken. The other seasonings were great but the salt really came through and hit me like a truck!!

An option to eat in or takeaway. Decent fried chicken but wow it’s spicy. Be warned!! I ordered the medium heat but it’s quite hot and I can usually handle hot food! Quite delicious though, just needed a cold drink in hand!.. I liked that they used compostable trays and tabs for their takeaway orders. And the slice of toast under the chicken to soak up the excess oil.. I passed on it but I’m sure it’s tasty! The Mac n’ cheese is fantastic. Very cheesy but not too heavy.

Popped in for lunch on a Thursday! Got the baller sandwich medium spicy which had a fair amount of chicken in the sandwich, spice level was pretty spot on with a nice tang to the chicken and the coleslaw worked well with the spice level! I quite like a brioche bun and it was toasted well! Slightly confused with the options to dine in as there were plenty of seats in the restaurant itself but appeared you had to put your name down on a waiting list, when there were a good 5+ tables available, and I was only 1 person! Ended up having to eat in the car as I couldn't be seated!

Peach’s was overall a good experience. We had two baller sandwiches, the tots, mac n cheese, and IPAs. We asked for the sandwiches at the hot level, and they were a decent level of heat which is good for Auckland which tends not to have truly hot/spicy fried chicken in comparison to the US. The tots were nice and crispy. Only the mac n cheese was a bit disappointing as it was very soupy and not too flavorful. I would recommend this place to anyone who loves a good fried chicken sandwich. It was very busy when we arrived but were seated quickly which is a good sign for any eatery.

Probably the best chicken I've had in a while. I had the Baller Sandwich and the wifey the chicken waffles. Both on medium. The chicken was extra crispy on the outside and soft and juicy on the inside. It was perfectly marinated and just devine. Typing this making me hungry and craving for more. You should get here NOW, before the hipster crowds from the city rush to Panmure. This is, hands down, the best Fried Chicken I've had in New Zealand or Australia. Great beers on tap, a choice of white or dark meat (but unfortunately no mixed plate yet - keep asking for it, it'll happen eventually!), fresh and tasty sides, the works. This place would stand up and be counted in the Melbourne CBD. It could hold its head high in the American South. This is seriously good fried chicken. Why are you still reading this? I have visited the Peach's hot chicken food truck twice and i really enjoyed it and i have been meaning to visit the shop since it opened. It was easy to find this place, the service was slow and wasn't too busy but the food still took a while to arrive however when my chicken waffle arrived, it tasted better here in the shop than in there food truck and it tasted delicious in the food truck. If you are coming here, prepare to wait but there fried chicken is on point.

Great chicken place in panmure and could rival some of the best. Chicken and waffle is definitely a go, but their other dishes are really good too. Portions could have been a bit bigger as we had to keep ordering for the table, but we're definitely going to have to rate the quality as some of the best out here in Auckland. Tender and juicy chicken, and the syrup and butter on the waffle was great, if we had a whole waffle instead of half, this would be a perfect dish!

What can I say… This is the best fried chicken offering in the Southern Hemisphere vibe! The reality is they’ve been able to balance good cooked chicken with hot spice flavour and it’s very defined to be honest. It’s not hard to find good fried chicken in NZ/AU because we’re very lucky with creatives in this space but this little shop in Panmure, Auckland has defined the Fried Chicken vs. Spice vs. Takeaway segment. It’s undeniable. They’re organised, an open practice for their craft and just a great offering for the food service industry. Plus the Mac & Cheese is so freaking yummy too.

Waited outside and picked up when texted order ready. Ate immediately in my car. Burger was kind of cold. I'd expect it to be hot to the point it was too hot to eat after only 2 minutes past pick up. Heard good things about Peach's chicken, esp because my friends all know I'm a big fan of Nashville Hot chicken but I was kind of disappointed for my first visit. Might give another chance if I'm in the area but I wouldn't go out of my way.

Finally a place where the terms Dark Meat and White Meat means something. I had the Big White with Holy Cluck and yes it was hot although it could be a little hotter. Maybe dip it in chilli oil and then sprinkle the chilli powder. Even so I enjoyed every bite of it and coupled with the Mac n Cheese. Perfection! White Meat all day!

One of the best premium burgers in Auckland, love the spicy/hot ones and the staff are friendly. They are always swarmed with orders, so you might want to put your online orders through early. 2nd time I've visited. Had a medium baller burger and mac n cheese. Burger was delicious; in my opinion, better than the OG. The added ingredients are in good proportion to the chicken and compliment it well. I didnt think much of the mac n cheese. It was nice enough but not as stellar as others have reported. At the moment, Panmure is in roadworks hell so getting there and parking wasnt simple. The restaurant was full and taking table bookings but it looked like the wait wasnt too bad - this was at 1pm on Sat. My takeaway was ready in 10mins or less. Service was very friendly. Packaging is all compostable or recyclable and kept everything warm for a 30min drive home. Cost is on the pricey side but ingredients look fresh and I think its reasonable value all things considered. Overall, highly recommended.

First off this is Nashville Style Fried Chicken, Peaches in particular reminds me of Belle's Fried Chicken in Australia if you've been there. I think it's better than Belle's tbh. If you're a fan of this style of Fried Chicken then you'll love this place. If you don't know what it is, the offering is Hot Chicken (really hot all the way to mild), Slaw, Shoe String Fries, Mac n Cheese, Tater Tots etc. It's nice but I'm personally more of a Country-Fried Chicken (along with Gravy, Slaw, Mash etc) kinda guy so its not really my jam, but I'll definitely still give it 5 stars for doing what it does really well. If you're thinking about it, definitely give it a go. All the food here is really well cooked, the service is great, it's super tasty. I'll probably come back, but mostly for the burgers because they look bomb. We also had the Banana Pudding which was really banana-ry and yum.

Online ordered the waffle and chicken. Disappointed that they cut up the chicken and the waffles i know it's still edible food but it doesn't reflect the true image on their menu and just makes it look kind sad to me. Also when you cut up the food it makes it go cold even faster so as a takeaway order that didn't help as well. So I would recommend fine in if you can to get the best experience of the food. The food itself was fine I think the chicken piece was a tad on the small side and would've been better with some basic salt and pepper pre seasoning. The heat was really just from a dry rub or dry heat. Not even fresh chillies so the heat factor wasn't really inside the chicken it was just powdered on top so it feels a little cheap this way as you're paying $17 for it. However if this is the Nashville way then who am I argue (shrugs). Overall 7/10 would prefer to dine in another time.

The food was great but the ordering procedure is just annoying. There's 2 empty tables and one with eaten food on it, to eat in we were told it was a waiting list and was going to be 30mins so we just ordered takeaway. The entire time we were waiting for our takeaway the table was never cleared and one one group filled the empty table. It's a shame because the food is quite good, ordering online or phone is takeaway so impossible to dine in unless you go in and join the waiting list hoping it's not long, no reservations which is fair enough.

One of the best, if not the best place for flavourful and juicy fried chicken at the moment. The wife and I go there almost once week to get our fried chicken fix. Almost every time we've been we've had perfectly made fried chicken where the chicken is nice and crispy on the outside and still juicy and moist on the inside. I would highly recommend the baller sandwich and the chicken thighs. There is breast meat in the menu too which is good but the thighs are definitely better if you can get them before they sell out, which occasionally happens. It is a bit pricey. I do wish they would make some combo menu's or at least provide a side for the burgers or even just fries with them.

The first time I saw Peach's I was wondering why there was a long queue. Today, I've discovered why... If you're person that loves a spicy chicken. Boy do I have news for you. This place does it so well. I ordered their chicken waffle, and I was surprised how the waffle still kept its integrity and some of its crunchiness despite having sauce and chicken on top of it while absorbing all the flavours with it. If you're a local then this should be the next place to visit, and if you live far away, it's definitely worth the travel.

Overhyped. The chicken in my chicken and waffles was average. The meat inside was relatively dry and lacking flavour, most of the flavour was from the spice from the outside. Quite one note flavour profile. Interestingly, it was the mac n cheese and the pickles that were the most delicious things we ate that day. My friends ordered the burgers but they had difficulty finishing them as they were too big and they were awkward to eat, and the flavour was just not there. The wait was too long for average chicken, and seating was hard to get. There are other better chicken places out there.

The Chicken and Waffles are the only notable thing about the experience. I bought dinner here a month ago and I must say soo worth the price and super satisfying. For myself I bought waffle and chicken, side of mac n cheese and chicken tenders medium heat. Everything was so tasty and chicken succulent as. My family bought some other items on the menu which included the baller sandwich, side of collard greens and 2 of the plates. They enjoyed their meals alot, I tried some of the greens and it had abit of heat but all round tasted nice. I will definitely be coming back here again but will try dine in next time as I got everything takeaway. It is pricey but it definitely beats the last chicken and waffles I had which was in town and that was dry and bland. This place is hands down the best, highly recommend.
