J.I used to go to this place years ago. And it hasn't changed at all. AND THAT'S A GOOD THING!
The pizza is amazing, the drinks are very well priced, and the whole vibe there is wicked. If you're after great, tasty and good priced pizza, and want a good beer or wine to go with it, you won't be disappointed.
Best visited with friends, so you can try each others pizzas
S.Went here for the first time with friends this week and it is amazing! The pizzas are absurdly delicious and SO generous with the toppings! Great beer and atmosphere. The price is shocking for the quality! I would happily pay double for everything. Can't wait to go back!

B.Been here twice now and it's definitely a nice little spot! Although it seems rather easy to miss if you are just walking by as the door is small and it has very steep stairs leading up to it.
I've had a pepperoni pizza and another I honestly can't remember the name of. It was ham and pineapple but not a Hawaiian (if that helps at all). I had the Kiwi Music Lager twice as it's wonderful and comes out in a cold, frosted glass.
The pizza is very good in a way that is different from other pizza. It's difficult to explain. I think they use a different kind of sauce from your usual pizzeria but it's actually quite good.
I wish I could drink more here but I would almost certainly fall to my death down those stairs, so I keep it to one or two beers (which are very reasonably priced, I might add)
If you have a few extra minutes in your day, this place is definitely worth the try!
P.Used to be my go to pizza joint back at University (15 years ago). Went back with family to reminisce and it was just the same. Great personal service, atmosphere was super Kiwi and student-y. Kids loved the food, wife loved the pizza (not her first pick, but would go back) and I loved the whole thing, including the price. Cheapest and best dinner in the area. Highly recommended.
E.Great little pokey kiwi place, drinks are mercifully cheap (that's a great thing!) but just watch the narrow steps after having a few. ;) amazing hand made pizzas with good flavour variety and amazing prices for city centre. This is one of my favourite haunts.
P.Can't go wrong with $45 unlimited pizza and drinks over a 3 hour period. Great service! Toilet could be cleaner as the only con.
R.Pizza Pizza is upstairs in what is, for Auckland, an old building. The stairs are narrow and steep. Difficult for anyone who does not climb with ease. It is also tricky for pushchairs meaning that it is mercifully short of small children. It is a very small restaurant with few tables. Everything is a bit cramped. None of that seems to matter. It is popular and often full. It pays to book in advance. All of the pizzas are named after New Zealand music acts. There are some unique flavour combinations, for example the Dimmer is a pizza with a mango chutney base topped with mushroom and pineapple. My favourite is the Herbs; olives, capers, garlic, mushrooms and capsicums. There are plenty of choices for my meat eating friends as well. Food arrived quickly and was delicious.
J.If you are an American in NZ, this is as close as you're going to get to "real" pizza. Yum yum!! The dine-in experience is a bit rough, but the service is friendly and efficient. And the price is right. Great wine and beer selection too. Highly recommend before going to a show in town!
L.First visited (&repeatedly) in 2004 when at school in the city. Finally visited again tonight nearly 15years later; pizza was just as awesome as it was back then and service as friendly and efficient.
Note: this is not gourmet or napolese pizza. It's kiwi half deep dish/thick base with a sizable pile of toppings!
J.Yummo pizza! Tried the Muttonbird and the Black Seeds and both were full of great toppings. The manager seems like a great guy and I didn't mind waiting for my pizza (of which I was informed beforehand) because the music and decor is pretty cool. Would go back any time.
A.Great night out!!! We had a group of 20 which means you can hire the entire venue but you have to have 20 people. It's $45 per person unlimited pizza and drinks (selected spirits wine beer and cocktails) for 3 hours or $25 if you not drinking for unlimited pizza and non alcoholic drinks for 3 hours. We were able to take an RCA cable and play our own music but the only downside was the stairs. I will be booking in again with another group shortly it's worth every cent of the $45 that's cheap considering how much it cost to drink in a club these days plus the pizza fresh and taste great :)

S.I love this place! I was 17 when I first visited, they do the Bestest pizzas and the yummiest cocktails. It's such a cozy place, perfect for a winter date night. You can book for functions too
R.If you didn't know, you will probably missed this place completely. Pizza was good. We ordered the Goldenhorse pizza (Highly recommended) and the Supergroove. Price is not bad.
L.looking for a cheerful, casual and cheap spot for a quick bite and a drink before seeing a show at Aotea centre. This is the spot. $5 beers (not many of those in the CBD) and good, solid pizza options (incl Vegan options). Been here forever too.

S.When I was a student at AUT, I would go to Pizza Pizza . Still have memories of going here. Being a uni student, it was great to have somewhere cheap to eat. I really reccom3nd this place if you looking for good cheap food.
