J.Don't know if they were having an off day, but it took forever for food to arrive. Waitresses kept bringing the wrong food to the wrong tables.
Food is really good, but timeliness from kitchen and service are very lacking. Total 55 mins for 3 mains to arrive.
Portions are for individual.
T.Really really good Thai food, generous portions, great atmosphere and cheap BYO corkage, what's not to like!
T.For a catch up dinner, we tried Pok Pok Thai in K Road and manages to arrive prior to a large party due arrive, so we were encouraged to order before the encroaching group. The restaurant was cute and quaint, staff was very friendly and particularly nice enough to advise of a pending 22 people expected to arrive.
We ordered a mixture of entrees including deep fried chicken spring roll, sweet sticky pork belly and chicken satay. The outstanding highlight was the exquisite pork, so sticky, sweet and unctuous morsels of tender yet caramelized in texture.
For our mains, we settled on coconut poached salmon and the Tom Yum prawns. The salmon was exceptional tasting, delicately cooked and beautifully presented in a fragrant red curry coconut cream gravy with lemongrass mushrooms.
I’d like to try more of the menu as there was several simple but impressive dishes. Pok Pok Thai is a fantastic find delivering a thoroughly enjoyable dining experience. Highly recommended!
A.Went on Friday 6th Sept. Small place, packed seating arrangements it was very hard to talk amongst each other we had to shout over the other patrons.. very annoying lot of screamers! Staff didn't make effort to check in on us for our orders until we signalled the two ladies. Entrees took ages, about 45minutes ! Booking was at 1930pm - we paid and left at 2240pm.. dinner arrived late another rough time of 30-45minutes .. I went to the bar to order my friends drinks ... Staff need to continually check on every patron that they are ready for oder on food and drinks. My only 3 star is the meal. It was divine! I got pork belly I'm hungry now just thinking of it. I wished I lived near there to Uber eats ! The sauces the meat it's so filling I want to come back to eat in a quieter environment hopefully during the day ! Il b back

S.You definitely need to book for this place on a weekend! The service was good and the food prices are great, and serving sizes are quite good.
It is VERY loud as it seems to be the place to byo (admittedly that's why I was there too) so don't expect a peaceful dinner on a weekend evening! Well done to the staff for getting food out relatively quickly when they were fully booked! Would definitely come here again.
I.Nice place, great ambiance. The food is ok, I had Pad Thai Tofu and it is a bit too sweet for my taste. Big portion.

E.Went there for dinner last night. Food was amazing! The entrees were the star of the meal. Drinks service was quick once you order. It's a lively place.
Entree portions are generous for price. Would recommend the pickles as a side for mains. We are big eaters but left absolutely stuffed after our shared entrees and individual mains and desserts.
Our food took a really long time to come out. Entrees came out staggered so that was fine as we were sharing but my main came & my friends mains didn't come until 30min afterwards. After the initial order it was hard to order drinks or dessert from staff. (I recommend just waving them down otherwise you'll wait all night and get ignored like we did)
K.LOVE this place! We loved the green curry beef and caramelized pork belly so much that we went back a week after our first visit and ordered both again. Must get the black rice pudding for dessert! Will definitely be going back in the near future.
S.Good food, not too pricey!
P.We walked in close to 9pm following a Thursday evening movie, very hungry. The restaurant was full and rowdy, although probably only one table really getting primed. There is a great street vibe with the night clubs opposite the restaurant.
Our food couldn't come fast enough and our crispy pork belly and crunchy mussels were delicious.
Our large pot of green tea eased the wait for the food while we dissected the movie, Mr Jones.
Service attentive although would be interesting to know how long the rowdy table kept them running

G.A unique Thai food experience. The wild goat massaman curry was a big serving and deliciously tender. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Excellent overall in my opinion and the restaurant was very busy for the middle of the week in my opinion
E.Love Pok Pok! I haven't had one thing on the menu that I didn't like. If you get it delivered, the food can wilt a bit (depending on how long it takes to arrive) - but eating at the restaurant is fantastic. Early week is fairly quiet, Thurs - Sat dinner gets quite full.

S.Nice food! Decent sizes. Service was average. We got braised beef brisket with green sauce which was yummy and highly recommend, we also got prawn pad Thai which was average have had better at other Thai restaurant.
V.The restaurant is located at a rather convenient spot in CBD. The service was friendly. The food, however, was a bit too sweet and not as spicy to qualify as genuine Thai cuisine. We ordered a large papaya salad, and the amount was even less than another Thai restaurant we frequent. The caramelized pork belly was great.
A.Service was pretty average - we got water as we arrived, but no refills. We weren't asked if we wanted drinks and it was quite a while before we ended up asking to order as we were sick of waiting. The food came out at different times but was tasty, I think for the price the overall service could be a lot better. Also dislike that they charged for rice.
M.The restaurant is nice and BYO is a plus ($3 corkage per person). On the night we went there was a very large group of young people and as the place is small, it was very noise.
Food was good but nothing exceptional - I had BRAISED BEEF BRISKET WITH GREEN CURRY SAUCE which was tasty, my friend had COCONUT POACH SALMON but she didn't like it at all.
Would go back only if by friend's invitations.
A.This place is great fabulously tasty food and mostly reasonable prices. The pork belly, salmon and lamb were really excellent dishes and the entrees were great too especially the curry puff.
My only criticism the roti was not great, very small and overpriced for it's size and lack of flakyness.
I would also suggest that having a mixed entree per person would be a great idea with say 3 choices.
The choices of mains were a bit limited so adding a few more would be great but I am keen to go back here with or without the voucher.
D.Great food. Was a little cramped seating-wise. Marked down a star for charging $3 corkage per person when we'd only brought one BYO bottle among the 9 of us. Saved it for another occasion. Corkage should be charged per bottle, not per person.
K.Amazing food! Great entrees and we love the pad Thai but lacks chili, we enjoyed the soft battered crab, salmon and pork belly melts in your mouth a must try 👍🏻 for all foodies this is a divine place 😍 were from Auckland and first time to try out this place! We will definitely be back!
A.Entree and main came at the same time...not great! Main was cold by the time I ate it...asked for it to be reheated and then it was piping hot and very chewy!!! Good service and reasonably priced wine...will try the other nearby Thai restaurant tomorrow night as I’m here all week. A very large group booking made the restaurant too loud and it was early...too loud for a single diner!

We walked in but the waitress finger point the table from the counter desk and made a gesture to sit wherever you want instead of guide us. Waiting for someone come and ask for order or explain the menu. No one coming. Looked at menu but no drinks there so I went to the counter and ask if they sell drinks. She finally gave me the drinks menu.
Order one bottle of wine and waitress came back after 15 mins and says they don't have that wine. We choose the other one says no again. So we choose what they have.
The resturant was only 25% full but food came out so late. No one come around and check if everything ok but we had to go to counter to tell what we would like to order more. Paid bill and leave the place and we realised we haven't heard sorry or thanks from anyone in this place.
G.What a spot. Braised beef green curry and the crispy pork belly with garlic chilli and basil, both mouthwatering bliss. Byo at $3 per person the icing on the cake for a top spot

N.Amazing food! Modern Thai cuisine that still taste as good as the traditional. Highly recommend the goat curry! The gravy was smooth and the meat melted in the mouth.

N.The food here is delicious! Our highlights were the: caramelised pork belly, massaman goat curry and green papaya salad. The premises is small, but clean. Grab a window seat and watch the lively K'rd masses go by.
