A devoted customer to previous owners cheeseburgers and chips. Made an effort to come on here to say to the new owners well done we'll be back. That was value for money and tasted just as good.

Good for and convenient nice food good chips. Fish of the day are nice size. Bonus for them as no other food outlets with walking distance around Rosehill.

I always thought the burgers here were ones to beat when it came to fish n chips shops. Abit pricey but I think it's worth it. The Chicken burger or bacon and egg burgers are mean. Think I'm lying? Go try for yourselves...chur.

I've lived in rosehill my whole life and this was my takeaway to go. Chip portions are quite small and fish is overbatted. Would recommend their cheeseburgers as they are worth ya buck. Overall not bad

Best fish and chips and burgers ever, not greasy and the oil they cook in is always good. The owner Paul and his good lady wife have been there for almost 30 years so they know how to cook good food

The owner has been serving his local community for years. His fish is cooked properly and the batter is not uncooked dough like many others in REWA and KURA. I can't stand the uncooked dough of the batter, its freaking garbage. However, this has not happened at Rosehill Takeaways that I know off. Others may have a different experience, but as a new customer I wish I had found him earlier. $5 chips can feed 4 adults, and they are tasty. Imagine $10 or $20! His combo deals are fair. The only snag is he has no eftpos and accepts cash only. But, the dairy is more than happy if you buy your drinks from them and get cash to pay for your chips.

The best Burgers, Hot Dogs and Crabsticks. Paul and his wife have been running the fish n chips shop for maybe 30 years plus and the foods always been top notch!!

This is my local fish & chip shop. I dont eat here often but when i do i usually get a burger and chips.Their burgers are delicous, reasonably priced and quite big. Their chips are ALWAYS hot, crunchy on the outside & light & fluffy in the middle. I personally would not get the fish because the batter they use is thick & its to heavy for me. They also dont have eftpos BUT they have the best burgers and chips in Papakura ib my opinion.

Just tried these guys for the first time and WOW!!! best fish and chips I've had in a long long time!!! Fish was perfectly cooked and so was everything else. Will definitley be making this the go to from now on!!

The chips, potato fritters, doughnut, pineapple fritters and hotdog we ordered were good. But they didnt give the hamburger we ordered which I'm sure would have been good too 🤷‍♀️

Food's ok but nothing special. Chips are weighed...yes, weighed. They even charge you for chicken salt!

CASH ONLY, But worth it. For $5.50 the cheeseburger is a steal, chips are always crispy and delicious. Definatly worth a try if your in the area.

I would have given 5 stars but they don't have EftPos (after how many decades). Great fish and chips though, and the service is always friendly

First time I tried it just brought $7.00 chips very nice chips to next time that I go there to get fish & chips & hot dogs I will have to have cash as no effpos the chips are so great & not greasy not like Blue Pacific & you dont get much chips for $8.00 there are people that go to Blue Pacific Takeaways they are starting to complain I won't go there again & have brought big orders from there to not any longer from now on I will go to Rosehill Take aways
