J.The pizza tastes really good, however it is quite overpriced in my opinion. One slice is around 7 dollars when you can get a slice for 99 us cents in New York. The service is quick and helpful though and they have clean, large dining tables and comfortable seating areas. They provide free water too. Overall, it’s average, below average price, average pizza but good seating and service.
T.Staff is always nice, pizza are the same quality are any other Sal’s around NZ. Will keep coming back
K.My wife and I went there on last Sunday evening. This was our first time in Sal's.
I believe they serve the real pizza, very nice and tasty, real authentic.
If you want to enjoy the real pizza go to this place.
J.Usually great......can't say tonights pizza was exactly satisfactory :( Ordered sausage and mushroom and got quite possibly the worst excuse for good ingredient distribution..... :-(

T.Sal's is terrific to visit if you want to get away to a low-key, super chilled out and extremely delicious pizza place. Eating in is better as the mozzarella sticks and overly hot pizza is still fresh and stringy. They play soft, upbeat electronic styled music - strongly suggest this place if you adore pepperoni pizza and don't want a huge fuss for a date!

D.I was born in New York City and have lived there for 35 years. There is no other pizza in New Zealand, probably on this side of the world, that comes closer to NYC style texture and taste than Sal's. It reminds me of the corner shops in Brooklyn. Very nicely done!
S.not as good as K rd Sals, like not even close. Not sure if the oven wasn't hot enough or they weren't in for long enough, but the dough wasn't cooked as well as it should be. Same was for the garlic knots. Still yum, but disappointed nonetheless. I probably won't go there again and just save my NY za fix for when I'm in town. Unfortunate because this one is much closer to my neighbourhood. The staff were nice and friendly, and the restaurant was very clean.
S.Sal's pizza is just the best pizza place around. Friendly staff, delicious pizza and mozzarella sticks! Make sure to 'chuck' some oregano on top.
They often have some quite relaxing music too, good vibes.

C.If you like good pizza, go to Sal's. We've never been disappointed. Great variety of pizzas an other side dishes. Worth every cent!

N.Sals pizza anywhere is amazing for me it’s more about the stuff making sure you’re happy and making the pizza to your liking I didn’t find that with Browns Bay but not everyone can know your favourites I like Manukau the best
