V.Used to be One of the best pizza place . But seems to be sal's is cutting down lots of corners and quality and quantity is Changed significantly... Paying $46 for pizza as picture and look at the amount of toppings.. not worth it anymore.. overall taste is good but not the price anymore...
E.Great pizza as always ..never fail and it is a great late night snack
R.Brooklyn and Meatball are fine but I don't like Garlic Knots which is not fresh and hasn't any flavor even the Authentic Dipping Sauces is like a normal tomato sauce.
M.Better pizza then domino's that's for sure, bit too oily for my tastes but it can be eaten every now and then, the place looked understaffed.
If you go to Sal don't expect anything like a proper italian pizza as they also advertise "new york style pizza" wich i didn't know was even a thing.
overall pizza is ok and the price acceptable.

B.Stopped by for lunch and they had a special deal on their board. For $15 you get 2 slices of pizza, 3 garlic knots and a drink. A really good deal. The pizza here is always tasty.
L.Sal's has been around for a while now, but they still reinventing themselves with more and more option on their menu everytime we go there.
I love the spice wings, the garlic roll and the pepperoni stick.
They have many locations around Auckland, Christchurch and some other areas.
If you are in New Zealand and you like pizza I highly suggest you to stop by and buy either a slice or a whole pizza (quite big).
They serve tap beer and large soft drinks.
Staff is very nice and friendly.
I recommend.

C.Obviusly it’s not like a traditional Italian pizza, but still a pretty good street food.
I like that on the table there are parmesan, oregano and spices and you can add them on your pizza as much as you want.
We ordered cheese pizza and pepperoni wheel.
The place is quite small, not many tables, but it seems located in a nice area.
S.Great pizza. Proper american style. Really enjoyed my 2 slices which were filling, tasty and packed with flavour. Not so keen on the garlic knots. Would recommend if you want very good pizza by the slice

Also sals replied with a awesome email. I love this place, never had any problems with them! I'm a regular, so let's hope 1 person who works there changes her attitude.

R.I'm an American with roots in New Jersey, so I have strong opinions on pizza -- Outside of Italy, the northeastern US is the only place where you can get a reliably good pie.
I lived in New Zealand for a year and loved it, but was disappointed by the country's pizza options. Sal's is the only good pizza place of the many I solicited there. Check it out!
J.Easily my favourite pizza place in NZ. Just like the pizza I grew up with, not bottom-of-the-market but not gentrified. This location is generous with the amount of basil on the Nonna's pizza, unlike some other Sal's Pizza locations which can be too stingy and have lost my patronage. Thank you for doing it right!

Z.This is the best pizza I've ever had. I got the pepperoni - so simple yet so flavoursome. Sal's is incredibly busy but they are quick. There are only a few cramped booths and tables inside so bear in mind it's hard to get a spot to eat in. It is a little on the pricey side (around $20-$30 per pizza) but the slices are huge (individual slices are $4 each and most people might only need two). Enjoy!
J.I've had good service every time I've been here, the staff seem happy to be there. Only critique is that the tables could do with a wipe down more often

Generous portion size, absolutely amazing presentation, texture, smell, taste, and ingradients.
The topping was cheesy and plenty, and the crusts very crunchy.
Everything feels like its taken straight out of a pizza joint in NYC.
J.Nice place to grab a pizza on the go or sit and have a quick bite. Pizza can be too oily sometimes, but usually good. The best one that can be found in the area and holds reasonable price. We stop here almost always if passing down Krd. No toilet and sometimes can be crowded
C.Jamie, from Sal's KRoad, is an absolute legend. There was an issue with my order (through Uber Eats) but he acknowledged the situation and sorted it right away with empathy and as a real human. A.Well made pizza and well warmed up. The staffs are friendly and skilled. The toppings are very basic, not like other pizza joints; but really awesome. Open until very late at night especially on weekends. The ambiance is more underground and garage band feel compared to other branches; I guess because it's on K'Rd. Parking is a pain so public transport or walking would be your better options.

C.I was born and raised in NYC. While not the best “NY pizza” I’ve ever had, Sal’s makes a great standard NY pizza that would be typically eaten any given day by local New Yorkers. The Kroad Sal’s I find to be particularly greasy (reason for 4 stars) but still delicious (some New Yorkers will be seen patting their pizza with napkins to soak some of the grease off of the top before eating).
The buffalo wings with blue cheese dressing is a staple side in a NYC pizzeria and taste authentic. I strongly suggest that you try either the buffalo wings or mozzarella sticks—guilty pleasures. And of course, a pepperoni pizza is standard and tastes great. All round for a New Yorker this is a great taste of home away from home and while not the best it is still better than pizza from New Jersey.
m.Always a winner. Consistent quality, friendly staff, good tunes and clean environment. Food is always fresh and tasty. One of the finest Sal's in town, occasionally a short wait for popular pies but well worth it!
L.Great 🍕 but the customer service that I received from an Asian guy last time was horrible. He forgot to put capsicum on my pizza so I asked if the vegean pizza was with it, so he said is I can put "for" you, Sounds like he was doing me a favor but I paid for it. The word sorry or I apologize he does not know. The girls are very kind and friendly he needs learn from them.
A.I would never have stipped on this particular occassion, but a Person in Need was sitting outside the facility. So the act of giving in festive cheer was called upon and the food was delicious

L.Place is not exactly the one you would like to have a meal. Service is poor. I tried to order a combo, but knot was unavailable and will take 15 min to be ready. Change my mind for a meatball pizza, and this was also unavailable, and will take 25 min to be ready.
R.Good branch. Had the buffalo and nona half and half here and it was as good as any other sals I've been to. Five tables for dining in. Can get really busy due to location.

N.NY pizza to NZ except it's on k road. Simple stuff and I've not had a bad slice. All slices are good really. It's subjective. Objective? 8/8 slice.
