Sals is the best- the only pizza! But I found this one to be a bit skint on sauce and toppings compared to other Sals. Lots of dry crust and not much sauce, and few pepperoni and mushroom slices.

Ridiculously expensive pizza, but it's the only one that my wife enjoys. The pepperoni is fantastic, and the rolls are a worthy addition to any meal, but be ready to have a plate counted in oil. Team at Takanini are friendly and the dine in area is cosy and on the smaller side.

Delicious thin crusted pizza and sides that always fill a hole! Sals is my favourite pizza joint and the staff and service at the Takanini branch is excellent!

The staff here are normally friendly and the pizza is delicious. Also, the restaurant is large enough for a small family or group of friends to sit down comfortably. Only downside is sometimes there can be a lack of parmesan shakers due to customers being over zealous with their use.

Its pretty good for pizza although they can take a while sometimes. The pizzas are pretty big so be prepared to get a 1/2 one or take some home if you aren't too hungry. A reasonable range of pizzas the classic ones are pretty simple so be prepared to add toppings if you like that kind of thing or get a . They have specialty items like garlic knots as well as pizzas and drinks as well as Ben and Jerry's ice cream which is great. They do online orders and deliver which I've yet to try.

Outstanding service. Thank you to the manager David, Ethan and the staff at Sal's Takanini for the fantastic pizza that was especially made for my niece and her newly engaged fiance. They loved their loved heart shaped Pizza!! You guys rock!!

I've been to this particular branch three or four times from memory and I'll undoubtedly be going back at some point in the near future. I find the prices to be higher than most other pizza joints and sometimes the wait is a little long, but both of these are worth it. The portions are very large, I usually eat half that day and save the rest for later.

This particular Sal's is nice and spacious. Other than that, it's just your same old, absolutely beautiful Sal's Authentic New York Pizza. 😍 Everyone seems to make the garlic knots differently and I must say I prefer Queen Street's garlic knots, but otherwise these guys do a great job.
