L.My friend had her wedding here in April 2021. The food was an intrepid journey from start to finish - couldn't fault a single dish. Every item was well thought-out and carefully designed.
A.An amazing experience. The cocktails are great , food is incredible and the service is possibly one of the best I've experienced. We were seated on the side where you can see the kitchen and It was awesome to be able to see how they all work.
H.Delicious. We tried the tasting menu at 160$ per person. The lamb and pork were amazing. Appetizer and dessert were also nice. It’s a bit hard to book, so try to book early. Service was great, although it is weird there is a tip section at the bill.
T.A perfect dinner! Our meals were scrumptious. We had the 3 course set with a fantastic wine. Service was 👌🏾 we were looked after so well by the young Indian lady. Loved it here!

P.This place is amazing. We had such great fine dining experience here for lunch. Service is outstanding. We choose a tasting menu and enjoy every round of the set. All menus are seasonal. Recommend to add wine matching which include the world selection of vintage wines. We were simply blown away by such inspirational dishes. Wow, must visit again.
F.Everything about this place is amazing. The food, drinks, service and location access. Came as a group of 10 for a family outing and we all left extremely satisfied. Kingfish was absolutely delicious and the drink "bliss" is the best cocktail I've ever tasted. Timing of all the dishes was on point and we spent just over 2 hours here relaxing, bonding and enjoying impeccable food and service. Would definitely recommend.
O.We came to "Sid of French Cafe" and were welcomed by a group of enthusiastic staff. Our table is in the pavilion area of the restaurant, facing the inner garden courtyard.
After discussing the portion size, we chose four dishes in order to enjoy the food, but not excess.
Each dish contains great visual appeal of taste, texture, color freshness and true West German art style. Make good use of the vegetable garden/herb garden on site to enhance the plates.
The whole experience is amazing, we can see the care, time and thought of each dish. The best cuisine.
The wine selection is huge and international.
A place to go for a very special occasion.
B.One of the finest foods in Auckland, coupled with amazing service and attention to detail. Highly recommend the tasting menu with wine matching. Will be back for sure :-)
M.Dinner here for my birthday and it didn’t disappoint. Just when you think it couldn’t get any better, it does! I thoroughly enjoyed all 7 courses on the degustation menu, with wine pairing. Book ASAP, you won’t be disappointed!
