So good. The smell of the smokers immediately lets you know it’s going to be good when you arrive. All meat was delicious, moist and tender. The loaded fries with brisket pieces in were excellent as were the other sides like the coleslaw. Really good value too

The food is delicious, Got the meat sweats. Thank you Vai and Team for the awesome Kai!

We got their Pulled Pork Buger and All for One and One for all BBQ platter and it was superb 👌 food was moist, smothered in flavour and sauce. The sides were bomb too but the MEAT is where its at. Total recommend. Thank you for the friendly service also.

Unreal portions for unreal price! Seriously wasn't expecting the 130 dollars meat pack for 4-6 people to actually fill all 5 of us boiz who eat heaps. Heaps of meat portions and variety of smoked ribs, pork belly and chicken with mean BBQ sauce and crunchy fries along with macaroni. My mate reckons one of the best fries he had. Coming back again but hope the 130 dollars meat pack is still around because I heard from the staff that it's a level 3 special. P.S, real minor thing but I pre-ordered on Wednesday and when I called to confirm again on Friday arvo they said they didn't receive the order which I panicked a little but luckily they were swift and got the order done for the time that was originally due.

Huge servings for the price. Although mac n cheese was a little rich (It’s good though if you eat it alone, given the rich texture. Perfectly cooked chips,but it could be less salty next time when served with the ribs) Also perhaps the place could have a stronger exhaust fan, because your clothes can smell like ribs when you leave the place. Soft and yummy ribs!

Money well spent!! The price you pay for the amount of food you receive is worth it and tastes even better 🤤 The staff were very welcoming, I'll be paying them another visit in the near future.

I've recently started selling my own smoked meat platters, and have been a longtime bbq follower,and one thing I like to do is give generous amounts with well cooked Kai, as I struggle to find a place that really captures real woodfire Q, but this place! My God am I glad I got the food from here, first bbq place I've had where the money is cheap for food that has love, soul and that real taste of smokey low n slow bbq. The brisket had awesome flavour, one of if not the best brisket I've tried after trying so many from different venues, and the sides were good too. Definitely recommend and hope all the best for future I'll be back for more 👍🙂

The best BBQ joint place in Auckland!!! My first time also... I picked up my order after 7pm... Everything I ordered, Ribs, Brisket, Paku Burger, Mac n Cheese, Coleslaw... sensational... I've tasted all the so-called best ribs, burger joints, American style BBQ in Auckland?.... but.... This here is the spot...

Thank you guys for an awesome Kai!! From us here at Manukau Central Physio it was spectacular. The ribs is where it's at!! But everything that was in the platter was to die for. You'll be hearing from us again. I also told Alistair cash talks!! lol

Ordered the family platter, all for one, bao buns, chicken burgers and smokey smash burgers for our Sunday birthday Lunch and honestly, Smokey Wheelz did not disappoint. Everything was cooked to perfection. My disappointment was not getting more burgers lol. If you are looking for some real good Soul food to help get you through he covid lockdown, get to Smokey Wheelz for your contactless pick up!

The brisket was amazing, chicken was amazing, ribs weren’t as good as the 1st time I went in, but they were decent. Chips are always good. Mac n cheese isn’t the best, it’s a bit bland & has a weird flavour to it. Coleslaw wasn’t nice at all. The portions are perfect! You definitely get more than what you pay for! My main problem was that I felt very uncomfortable as everyone was just staring at me & my family, even the other customers we staring at us. It was very awkward & weird for me & I have really bad anxiety so it just made it that much worse. All I could think of was getting out of there as soon as possible. Usually it’s really good & welcoming when we go in, but this time around was just not it.

Absolutely delicious! Especially for this $20 combo meal, you just have to buy your own drink. Can of coke or Sprite $2.50. Thank you miss Tia for recommending this Gem, we just beat the peak hour crowd before they ran out of pork at 6pm on a Saturday

Finally got to try out Smokey Wheelz and was not dissapointed😊everything was on point, even to the most simplest of things the colslaw we all loved so much, fries yumm👌meat😍 everything was so good, defs be back🤙

Great service and portion sizes. Can really taste the smoke through the meat which is ideal. Not slathered in sauce either which makes it far more enjoyable than other places.

Disappointed with this restuarant Grill Chicken was bloody and not yummy

Big portions but brisket and ribs were tough. Flavour was there and maybe it was just an off night but we were a bit disappointed at how chewy and leathery it was. Definitely willing to try again as customer care was outstanding and keen for a local business to succeed.

So yummy! I ordered the 1/4 Chicken combo beautifully marinated chicken in sweet BBQ sauce, creamy macaroni and cheese and coleslaw was really complimentary and fries on the side to top it all off. Great service and didn't have to wait long. Awesome for lunch or dinner will be back again and again.

Had taken my little family & sister to here & ordered the family platter ($75) & 2 lots of Bao buns (3x$20)!! HIGHLY recommend indeed🤙🏼 The serving size of the platter was more than expected & Bao Buns all were just BOMB.com!! Flavour, Tenderness & everything was of the chain..Again Highly recommend you will not be disappointed!! Will go again🤗👍🏼

Ordered the Pao Buns and pretty average, not enough meat more slaw than anything. Buns were nice enough but just lacked that wow factor I was expecting for a $20 item. Service was friendly and took the goods out to the car for me. Would have been nice to have been told about the limited menu items before trying to order as most was sold out. Will be in earlier to get some brisket and re-edit when I have tried.

I dunno if Chicken wasnt quite cooked or if it was brine? Or hemoglobin reaction, but texture seemed odd, and pinkish/really bloody on some parts, mac n cheese was below average but chips are very good, and brisket is literally out of this world 🌎, place is worth it for that alone. Can't comment on ribs officially but I suspect if its as good as brisket would be worth it. Serving sizes are quite large and service friendly.

Was a huge fan of the Sunday BBQ at the old location but this is even better! Food is fantastic, always good, great team. Worth travelling - ribs and brisket are a family favourite. Cheers team, well done and congrats on great work!!

This is my favourite Low and Slow bbq in Auckland & I’ve tried them all. The staff are friendly and the food is delicious, you can feed the whole family without taking out a 2nd mortgage. I Highly Recommend this place!

By far the best ribs place in town. Great price and combo meals are generous in size that my teenagers couldn’t finish it! Great friendly staff and a good place for the whole family.

I'd love to give more stars but I've only tried a few things on their menu and it was nice. A bit pricey though so I'll have to give a second or third review after I'll try some more off their menu.

Great food, however I received it stone cold. Once put in the microwave for a minute it was lovely thought.

AMAZING BBQ. Well worth the drive if you don’t live out east. Brisket was the winner on the night. But no losers.

Place is a hidden Gem out East..portion and food absolutely delicious.. New Eatery place and will come back to try the rest of what's on the menu... more then a 5 star +...
