The pasta was delish, the pink lady cocktail was just as good!!!. There steak was the bomb!! The food was just great overall. All the workers had great customer service aswell. Such a welcoming atmosphere too, will be back there for sure 👌

After a bit of a wait near the front door, we were able to get a seat in the restaurant which wasn't particularly packed. Great and efficient service once seated at a table. The shared entree was extremely generous and extremely enjoyable. The lamb was definitely the highlight of the night and it just fell off the bone with a good mash to compliment. The ribs main - sauce was undeniably delicious but I thought the ribs were slightly overdone, while the ribs in the entree platter were extremely soft and enjoyable. All in all, a great feast for reasonable pricing

First time visiting Stampede and was delighted with my experience. The setting of the restaurant was elegant but also nice and warm. After a wee long wait for our food my partner and I received the most delicious and satisfying ribs! The meat fell off the bone so smoothly and can’t help but keep replaying that in my head, wonderful sauces and sides and highly recommend that everyone try the ribs/ lamb shank at least once in their visit here. 😁

Awesome!!! Had lunch Scotch Fillet on hot stone. Took the first bite. Wow!! Incredible!!! The best steak I ever had so far. Melted in my mouth. My wife had a Sirloin Medium Well, came perfectly done.

We ordered the chicken burger and the ribs. Both were cooked perfectly. Meats were juicy, but only giving a 4 cos it wasn't really that 'wow'. Toilets were also clean. There were lots of activities you could also do in the outside area. Great for big groups, for sure.

Awesome menu. Almost always you get what you want. Good quality food. The wait time was insane when we went because there was only one chef. He was nice enough to come to our table to give us a heads up for the prep time. Price is quite reasonable. Parking can be a pain though during busy times.

Had an excellent meal here today..... Steak served raw on a piping hot stone, so you can cook it to your liking. With a little salt, it was absolutely delicious - melt in your mouth. What a lovely way to celebrate my birthday!

The food was good. The service was below average. We had to ask for menus. Ask for service. Ask for cutlery. Ask for Water. We were finally about to get our order taken, and the on duty manager comes over and takes the waiter away. And we had to wait another 10-15mins to get our order taken. The waiters were friendly but the service was way below average. Also the plates all had chips on them, and some cutlery were still dirty.

The good part first - drinks and the funny wall in the toilet. The not so good experience- Onion Rings - very doughie and without any salt and felt disgusting. Seafood Platter - very small quantity for $16 with very limited choices of seafood (no prawns) and everything fried in same tasteless batter as onion rings.

Went here a few days ago and a year prior. I found the staff lovely and friendly but the mains I've had both times I personally didn't enjoy. The first time it was cooked well but the meal just wasn't for me. The second time I had the burger and fries. The bun seemed like it was super dry and the burger was difficult to eat, seemed quite flavorless. It seemed most people weren't very enthused about their meal at the table. I had a taste of the bolognese and it seemed very flavorless too. The Cobb loaf was nice though. The place is clean and decorated in a neat way. Please don't forget to ask the people at the opposite end of the table what drinks they would like too. No biggy as just drank the water provided but would have loved to order something 😊 Hopefully soon all the covid drama and stress is over. Would love to give it one more try as this place is pretty awesome

Went there for my mum's 79th birthday, 12 adults and 4 kids. Great communication when asking questions and booking in through messenger. Service was absolutely outstanding and the food was delicious and perfectly cooked. Awesome and amazing staffs, friendly and the meals are worth it your money. You can even play at the pool table for $2 only. You must have a $2 coin they don't have a note slot for it just a $2. Toilets are amazingly clean and it has music in there as well. We all know why lol but yeah. Everything is awesome. I would definitely recommend this place as a date or a romantic night dinner out at the Papakura Stampede.

We went there for valentines dinner. They had valentines Dinner special where a main plus dessert for $45 pp. Got a rose, a glass of bubbles each, and chocos. We got in without a reservation and they were great about it. Value for money for sure. Amazing stuff, great food. A possible vibe throughout the place. Super friendly. And the meals were huge. Stock standard steakhouse. Staff are friendly. Been here only a few times for dinner, and the food was great. A bit weird walking in though, as there's no attention given until you stand at the bar waiting for a few minutes while watching staff pottering around (even when it's dead). No obvious signage of where to wait to be "seen" to, so might be a good idea to just pop a small sign somewhere especially with new visitors? Would still eat there, prices are reasonable, deco is definitely in theme lol. Although the flooring/seats feel like it's seen better days, it's still fun for the kids.

After so many years of seeing a sign saying “ under new management “ Stampede has management that actually cares about the product they are putting out there. I got the platter, all was devine but the ribs were extremely good. Fell off the bone. That's what I want to see. Heaps of meat. So they have specials all you can eat ribs on a Tuesday and other goodies. Check it out. Waitress was awesome. But took a while to get the food but was delicious. Got my steak on a hot stone. But I asked for garlic butter and we laughed cause e were told its called cowboy butter. What about cowgirl butter🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣anyway enjoyed the night but stampede is a hidden gem in Papakura. It was my best friend's 40th birthday. He's really into Stetson hats so Stampede was the perfect place to go. The staff have always been very friendly & courteous going out of their way to talk to us and accommodate our requests as well. Winter is particularly cold so a table next to the fireplace is perfect. They set it up beautifully and my friend couldn't be happier to see the effort that the staff had gone to for his birthday. The food was just as amazing. We ordered the lamb shank and salmon as recommended by Boston....it was awesome!!!!! We loved the salmon so much that we asked if we could thank the chef Dee. It was tender & slightly pinkish on the inside while crispy on the outside with skin still on. She came out personally and was thrilled to hear first hand how much we loved the food. So....15/10 for a very, very cool & memorable evening .....perfect cuisine, perfect hosts, perfect environment.....perfect everything!!!!!☺

Very friendly and efficient service! My cowboy tucker was served on hot stone grill so its up to you how you like your steak. The seafood chowder for an entree is so filling its like a main. We only ordered one, but they brung out two by mistake. After letting them know they didn’t charge me for the second one. Overall the place wasn’t even busy, the staff were very friendly and professional. Would definitely come back, massive carpark that is cctv monitored too.

The decor is amazing, done to a wild west theme. The seafood entree sharing platter was average, the calamari entree was like tyre inner tubes in heaps of batter and had no salad with it, the two desserts we had were overcooked/almost burnt but still good to eat. Everything took forever to come out. We ended up smelling like the next table's stonegrill meal and had fat vapour all over our phones and clothes. Would return on a quieter night to try other foods. The stuff we're really friendly and nice, they were probably tired from a long day I might it was 9pm but they still did amazing in accomodating us, we order the burgers 1 beef and 1 chicken both enjoyed the burgers all the flavours complimented each other well, we also got the steak with red wine sauce (MR) and the Santa Fe we all enjoyed our food it was amazing delicious! We ordered the stampede special but then realised it was a Bloody Mary as it said on the board the guy offered to make us something else that we'd prefer and they still turned out yummy! Over all amazing service great quality food and shoutout the the chef that went the extra mile for us he was tall, bald, and half tattoos on his arms AMAZING!!! Will defs be back!!

Nice place. I painted it years ago when it was new and called the roadhouse, they have had major renovations done on the interior and exterior with a western theme and it's awesome. We went to see aradhna great atmosphere and even though I don't smoke they have a room with a pool table and tvs for smokers, thought that was pretty cool. Ordered 2 plates of chips got 1 after half an hour then the second 1 about 20 minutes after so food service is slow I mean come on its only chips. All in all was a good night out.

My wife and I visited the place for lunch on a Saturday afternoon for the first time even though we live quite close to the restaurant. I believe they were a bit short staffed and the food took a little long because of a couple of big tables. I ordered the $10 steak (from the lunch menu) with a side of eggs, mushrooms, peppercorn sauce and stampede potatoes while my wife ordered the steak sandwich (which she didn't enjoy much). I loved the steak !! Raw piece of meat came on a hot stone which I thought was not a bad idea as it cooked to my liking and eliminated the question of overcooking or undercooking while the steak remained hot throughout the meal. Peppercorn sauce was to die for!! The par boiled, flash fried potatoes were yum too !! Would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking to have a good steak. Quite an experience. Beats Tony's Steakhouse.

min wait to place order 25 minutes before mains arrived. Waiter and waitress were very friendly though busy restaurant which was a good sign. Started with fizzy drinks reasonable to low price good very suprised, my partner also ordered a pink panther mocktail which was visually lovely, tasty and cost only $4 😋 I ordered the stampede burger which came with a side of chips. It did on the menu offer shoe string chips but was not offered the choice was extremely happy with my own burger and chips meal. Very large portion size soooo tasty had beef and chrispy bacon and some yummy amazing sauces along with the usual vege perfection! 😋 Partner had the lamb shanks gravy and shanks seasoned and cooked to perfection only gripe was the potatoe mash which was also seasoned and buttery..was a bit much with oily meat and gravy? Would have paired better with a plain mash to balance out the richness of the gravy and meat 👌 We shared our dessert half and half so we could have a taste of both 😊 I had half the Apple pie first nothing special. I've brought better at the supermarket..both desserts came with an amazing ice cream and whipped cream which paired perfectly with the desserts.. My favorite was the chocolate tart was amazinggg!!!! My new favorite dessert of all time has a very thick, solid, tough base but the innards paired with the ice cream... I want to eat it again right now 😋😋😋😋
