Cool little CNR bar associated with the adjacent Greek? Think Turkish restaurant. Really nice bar dude on when was there. Let us hang out till he'd packed away for the night. Indoor outdoor living... Nice little waterhile for Mairangi Bay. Good effort guys, well needed around here! 👍👍👍👍👍

We were a family and had dinner , weather was cold and heat pump was broken !upon our request we moved to the bar next , which was not as comfortable as restaurant , but warm enough. Taste of Food was good ,but a little overpriced .

My wife and I eat here regularly and have probably eaten every dish on the menu (which is changing soon). All the dishes are delicious and that is why we keep coming back every week. The dishes are presented with style and the prices are very moderate for such high quality dining. The staff are very friendly and and attentive and every Friday night (starting around 7pm) there is authentic belly dancing. With a bar attached, this place is buzzing in the evenings as all the locals know what a gem it is. Do yourself a treat and try it!

Have dinned here a few times and just a few days ago, I struggle a little with the menu because the food doesn't usually suit my palate, but it's good honest food pretty well cooked. Pizzas also, although too many sauces on top, mango, chutneys sweet chilli, yoghurt dressing, fruit chutney, barbie sauce etc,etc and a vege pizza no mushroom, anyway they are good just needs a few adjustments I will be back.

Cool place to have some Turkish food. However, you don't have to try the special dessert if you can't handle super sweet or have a high urate level. Great place to chill with your mates.

Was here for a birthday party which was held in a separate private room, it has its own bar and indoor/outdoor setting area. Bar service was good. The variety of food platters were very tasty however I can not rate the rest of the menu until I revisit, if the platters are anything to go by I'm sure the main menu is great too.

Fantastic birthday dinner. It's been a long time since we had Turkish food, very authentic, tasty, delicious. Ended up having entre,main and desserts. Our dinner guests enjoyed stay and food a lot too. Kids menu standard, nice selection -or ask for side plates to share your goodies. Super attentive wait staff, very friendly, thumbs up and 5stars from us... Check if they have Bellydancers on the night, or book one yourself! as they are top level 💟

Easily the best value for money full service restaurant I've been to in NZ. Huge plates for a reasonable price. And absolutely delicious authentic food. The place is run by a Turkish guy with Turkish coffee and deserts so it's the full package. Go on Friday night's for an epic belly dancer performance. I think she is in around 8pm but confirm first.

First time visit whow my partner and I were very impressed...., the ambience excellent happy staff and the food we could not fault....well done to the owner and who ever set this restaurant up. I can see it becoming a regular fave place to dine at. Steamed Rice on the menu would be great. One thing... The gorgeous platter plate our meal came out on kept moving every time you cut food up..... A little annoying but overall a great experience keep it up

Yummy food, cozy place and a good atmosphere! They have belly dancing over the weekends (you need to double check the days just in case). The food is on the pricy side, a main meal can be around $28-$32 and a baklava dessert with ice cream or cream was $12.

The amazing staff that work at Taksim are the reason I have rated so highly. I have found them to be incredibly respectful and even when really busy, go out of their way to provide the royal treatment. (Like running to countdown to make sure that difficult customer demanding lime instead of lemon in his drink, gets what he wants) The food and ambiance make it an overall great night out, keep up the excellent customer service Taksim!

Excellent food in a casual yet professional atmosphere. We’re big fans of Turkish / Lebanese food and this didn’t disappoint. The Ottomans Borek and Mousakka were delicious and served with super fresh salad & hummus - and the Dolma were spot on! The mains filled us nicely but we had just enough room for some Baklava & Turkish Delight flavour Ice Cream... heavenly!! Can’t wait to come back and sample more.

I don't have a lot of experience with non-Asian restaurants, but the food was very delicious. Great sauce and seasoning, and the service was great. However, it was quite expensive to me, although I'm used to the pricing of Asian restaurants. Parking is limited.
