Reviews of Taste of Malaysia Restaurant
T.Came here a lot for lunch when I used to work down the road. The chicken/combination chicken and seafood Char Mee never disappoints.
T. W.I simply adore the chicken curry with roti canai from Taste Of Malaysia in Food Junction Manukau. It’s the best roti canai I have tried and the curry is always flavoured to preferred spiciness. I love dipping the bread into the very spicy flavoursome curry as it’s so delicious.
The owner is always so happy and cheerful and it’s always interesting watching him make the roti fresh with tossing the dough in the air to aerate and stretch out the bread to make it light and flaky. Highly recommended!
N.Nice food but WAY over priced and buying a large fried rice that costs well over $20 with the same amount of meat you would find in a regular size. Have been there a couple times but won’t be going back anymore. Just not worth it

M. M. P.Unfrotunately i was over-charged by the owner operator in the past...and i caught him. His reply was...you want the food right away or want to wait in the que? So he made me wait.....even though i just topped up my oder with one other item. Good is great...a little spicy which i am okay with...but i just don't like being over-charged....and him respond that way to me. Lately he might have learnt so he doesn't do that anymore so have upgraded his rating....but the experience has been printed in my mind so keep double checking his charges.

D. S.Had the Char Kuey Teow combination. Only had 3 small prawns and 4 tiny pieces of squid then a few chicken pieces. Other than the poor amount of meat pieces, it didnt taste too bad....however, definitely not worth the $16. Food Alley in the CBD sold the same dish for $11 & was hella worth it, taste and portion. If only it was still open.
