p.Easily one of my top 5 Auckland restaurants. Have been going for a long time and they consistently have amazing food, service and atmosphere.
V.Had a wonderful bday dinner although it was a take away due to lockdown. Great service and we enjoyed all the dishes! The food was properly packed and was tidy and well presented. We ordered Eye fillet, Crispy Pork Belly, Twice Cooked Half Duck and some sticky date puddings for dessert. The best, well, one of the absolutely best eye fillets I have ever had. It was so good and the potato gratin pieces on the side were so so delicious!! I could have asked for a second plate if I were in the restaurant. The pork belly was crispy and amazing. Didn't get to try the duck as I was too full to have it but my family did enjoy it a lot!
I believe the food presentation will be beyond perfect if we could have a dine-in dinner. :)
K.Having been locked down for so long we didn't just want to go anywhere for dinner.. we wanted to go somewhere we knew was both an intimate venue and had delicious food and The Abbey did not disappoint. Not only were Misha and Anne Marie so welcoming and friendly but the food was outstanding. We opted for the duck liver pate, signature main, pork belly, creme brulee and sticky date pudding all washed down with delicious Merlots and Proseccos. We couldn't fault the evening. We left with smiles on our faces and full tummies. Will be back!

L.Amazing dining experience, food was... you guessed it... DELICIOSO!!! 😋 Service was fantastic and friendly, cant fault them for anything. Worth every cent, especially the creme brulee, heaven on a plate 🤤 if you haven’t tried the abbey, put it on ya list 😊
