I am really picky about the taste of Indian food. I ate food from many Indian restaurants here in New Zealand but today ordered food from थे Cinnamon Club for the second time. There is no doubt that it is really tasty and authentic. The hospitality is really good. Do try it at least once, I am sure you will go back again and again. I would say The Cinnamon Club on my top list for Indian food. 🥂🥂

An absolute delight to dine in at The Cinnamon Club! We ordered a banquet meal and everything was so good we could not stop eating!!! Now......... this place was perfect from the moment we arrived, the service was excellent, happy and attentive, but relaxed. We introduced ourselves to Sunil who owns the restaurant with his wife, and they were brilliant. We loved the food, and I mean all dishes were great, tasty, and great texture. Our daughter in law is Indian and she couldn't fault it, she loved the carrot dessert. We will definitely be back, we've told Sunil that we will order to his recommendations next time. We were recommended Cinnamon Club recently and tried it there tonight. It was the best Indian food I have ever eaten. Their food surpasses all other Indian food on the shore and probably all of NZ. This was my second visit, and it's now a firm favourite. For those with a sensitive palate they will obviously prepare your meal the way you want it. However, if you do enjoy Indian food cooked the way that Indians would enjoy it then I can recommend the The Cinnamon Club. On my first visit, I had my go-to Vindaloo - hot and the flavours were fantastic. This evening I had a Balti again - hot, and again the flavours were beautiful. The manager suggested the Balti, and I decided to try it as I don't recall ever having seen it on a menu in NZ. In fact, I've only ever seen the dish on a couple of Indian restaurants in the UK. I'm already looking forward to trying another one of the manager's suggestions next week.

One of the most authentic and tasteful Indian cusine we have had in NZ. The curries are awesomely delicious, and the tandori roti and naan are so good to eat. The owner is so friendly provides an excellent food service..Good ambience and have sufficient space to host big lunches and dinners.. Definitely worth going there to dine in time and again..

Tucked in Murray’s Bay, this quaint place offers really authentic Indian food, not the typical sweet butter chicken, instead the real deal with heaps of spices. We had the butter chicken, lamb Briyani and garlic cheese naan, and also not to forget the cinnamon cheese puffs …all really good! The owner Chef Sunil and Chefs behind the scene made the experience worthwhile …my husband being a Chef himself enjoyed the food very much …he usually doesn’t eat butter chicken…but this one changed his perception on the usual…

I organised a party at their place and trust me the best decision i made there were place more flashier and popular but none of them were ready to accomodate our simple requests but they still wanted top dollar and limited choices and average tasting dishes none of them put any efforts to convince us. Celebrated son’s 2nd birthday “My husband and I planned our son’s 2nd birthday at the Cinnamon Club, Murray’s Bay. It was the first time that I planned a party and truly relaxed. The owner was absolutely lovely and super patient with all of my questions. The space was truly great for a birthday party. The place is so festive that we didn’t have to decorate too much. They served us amazingly delicious food and staff as well was very friendly. All of their help was really great throughout the party .” It has now been our favourite place to visit every month whenever we crave for yummy Indian food.

Our family went for a Friday night use in. We enjoyed the meal and the service was great. Very attentive. A few preferences and not criticisms are ... I prefer rotis to be soft and dry and left in one piece. No ghee on the top and prefer not chopped up in quarters. The sauce for goat curry was too tomatoe strong so couldn't taste the meat.

I had a chance to celebrate my wife's 40th on 1st May here and I was so impressed by Sunil his wife and team they are awesome, they gave me excellent suggestions for decoration and food selection at the same time very competitive. We have few kids as well, however Sunil was pretty comfortable with that too. Best Indian eatery in North shore, their food is freshly made and served and they have real Indian taste. Staff is very professional and they treat customers as their own family. Awesome service Sunil and team. We will come back for sure. :)

A gem of a restaurant in the East Coast Bays. We have eaten in the restaurant and had takeaways on a number of occasions and the food and the service have been impeccable. My wife suffers from various food allergies and they are always accommodating to her needs. Dishes to recommend; Dal Tadka, Aloo Gobi and the Beef Madras. Superb!!! The indian Restaurant in Mairangi Bay Name ,"The Cinnamon Club" provides one of the best authentica Indian food as well as they have started Providing Tiffin services for people who are stuck in 9 to 5 Job or Students who has to study and work and don't have time or energy to cook for themselves. I have been visiting them since last 6 months and have recently joined their tiffin service and I can say hand on Heart the quality and Taste is unmatched , its fresh , less oily and have authentic taste. I would urge people of this group to try it out with your friends and family and support these amazing people. Vocal for local!!

We totally recommend The Cinnamon Club - the meals were exquisite. You can taste the quality of ingredients used. The owners are so lovely and the staff smiling and friendly. The best Indian food I’ve had in the city. Me and my friends ordered chicken lollipop and veg pakora for appetizers. Both were delicious but Paneer pakora was just amazing! We then ordered soya chap, Butter and Garlic Naan for entrée and everything for perfect to the T! We asked them to make it spicy and they did but without compromising on the flavors (doesn’t usually happen elsewhere). The desert which is called Gulab Jamun looked tempting and tasted sooo good! Love this place!! The service is great, the owners are so lovely. The restaurant is always very warm and cozy. The menu has lots to choose from, I always find it hard to decide! The staff are also very helpful in accommodating dietary needs (I’m GF) and there are lots of vegetarian options too. Food and service was the biggest highlight for me! Their food exceeded my expectations and the staff was so welcoming! This place is a hidden gem right across from Murrays Bay Beach! Authentic, affordable Indian food with friendly service - what more can you ask for? I bought a medium spicy butter chicken and medium spicy beef biryani from The Cinnamon Club and it was absolutely amazing. A lot of the time I've bought butter chicken from other restaurants and it has been really sweet and flavorless, but the butter chicken from The Cinnamon Club was very flavorful. The beef biryani was aromatic and delicious. I came back just a few days later to get it again because I have missed delicious butter chicken. I will definitely continue to come back again and again.

I ate here for a second time and my suspicion was confirmed: The Cinnamon Club is by far the best curry house from Takapuna to Long Bay. I also preferred it to the so-called posh/expensive ones in the city. Each dish had its own flavour, with meat and vegetable which had absorbed the spices - in other words, it wasn't just meat and veggies with a different sauce thrown on top, which is the method at most. I urge everyone in the area and beyond to visit - finding a restaurant in the Bays like this is rare, so let's support and keep it.

Not one to give reviews, but! Been here twice now. Ordered a madras. Definantly wasnt a madras. Madras are hot and spicy. This was sweet a coconut flavor just like a korma. Also very different color! Second time ordered a vindaloo with naan. Not a little bit spicy or even taste anything like a vindaloo, also forgot my naan too. I give 3 stars to be fair because the staff are very nice, and even though I dont eat these flavor food, it was still nice. But you got to stop messing the order up. For this reason I wont be coming back to this place. All in all I believe the food would be nice whatever dish you order, but make sure you cook the correct dish. .. I could have given no stars with a really bad review, but i believe in fairness.
