C.Stopped in for a bite , first time there and we were welcomed as if we were regulars for years , just an awesome vibe all round . Food was real good , steak was perfect m/r , beer cold . Venue was clean and neat 10/10 guys , keep it up

D.Always welcoming and friendly staff. Food is always super yum and they have good deals! Also perfect for if you have a dog as they are super friendly to dogs. Pop over after a walk on the beach and have a pint. Awesome work guys.

Ordered 2for $30 pizzas and chicken burger, and 3 drinks
Was served by different staff and happy to be there too.
Spoke to all staff and felt really relaxed.
Food was great pizzas and burger really tasty
Really reasonable price for 3 people

T.It feels like I’m visiting with family in Wales. After one visit, they know your name, what you like and how you like it. Also, the best, most generous portion of halloumi, my favorite thing on the menu. Always some fun to be had so check on their website.

R.The Seafood Chowder is the best I've had in years. I've been in the hospitality business for over 40 years and I can't remember when I had a better chowder. Creamy rich in seafood and cubes of potatoes and carrots ... Just wonderful. 🤓

J.Went for our work Christmas dinner. All the meals were delicious and I had the fish and chips. The fish was cooked to perfection very moist. Service was great. Would thoroughly recommend.

R.Our first time there since change of owners/name. Overall, my feeling was mostly of disappointment at the changes. The new menu had a 'pub-food' feel to it, rather than a restaurant menu. Burgers, pizza, fish and chips, steak and chips... things like that. Gone are the pasta's, thai salads, lamb shanks etc. I don't go to a restaurant to pay good $$ to eat the same food I have to feed my kids at home, so that was a shame, as this restaurant has always been my favourite in the area. Our food WAS delicious though, so if you like pub food, then you will be happy with the quality, it was yummy. They were stingy with the chips though. Come on, chips are cheap, load them up!
M.Very happy me and my husband came here for our 2nd wedding anniversary tonight it was great in the sense of quiliaty as well as price and it's a place you can comfortably dress up a bit more than usual. Friendly owner too ! We had new york strip, nachos and halloami chips so filling! The halloami chips were sooooooo good. So seriously what are you waiting for go check out this modern gem 💎 it's worth it 😉ps: the salad was super fresh 🥗 and almost forgot to say the girl who made my lemon lime and bitters tonight well done its been a long time since having one that good! 🌼

I.Velvet gypsy used to have a warm, cosy and inviting interior that has now been turned into cold, dark and depressing, like a nightclub with the neon lights instead of a restaurant ... The food was ok, will not go back. 😕
