One of the best venues on the Island! As a local you tend to try them all and with Brent there, the food is going to be exquisite and creative. Caters for Vegetarians and Pescatarians perfectly. If you like Poke Bowls... This is the shizz! The staff are always super friendly and helpful and the prices are reasonable for what you get. Great choice of quality wines that are regularly updated. I would highly suggest trying it out yourself.. So gooooood!

We've been to many of the 'major' restaurants on waiheke, but this was without a doubt one of the most surprising and great food we've had. This is a great hidden gem that we will keep going to! Credit to the team!

We dined on a saturday evening and the plce was quite booked but the server (didnt get his name but he had cool dreadlocks!) was friendly and quick to help us out. We had a great time with some grilled scallops, gnocchi and potato bake. Adviseable to book on weekends to get guaranteed seats.

Nice spot, really local too and with taste ++ Spoke with a local on the ferry across and this was recommended. Environment, a stones through from the beach....gentle music, with the waves in the background, very nice 👍 Went for the scallops, perfect, soft and tasty. And ribeye, with gratin, again juicy... Overall a good spot, with high quality food with nice friendly staff too 😊 PS the local wine was delicious ++++

Food was phenomenal!! We ate it so quickly didn't even think of taking a photo. I had the ricotta gnocchi with lamb neck and picked grapes, it was outstanding (was very tempted to lick the plate). The calamari pasta with a caper, tomato and olive sauce was delicious, and the ribeye had a super crispy crust and juicy in the middle. Definitely recommend, reasonably priced and would 100% come again!

Believe the hype. Amazing traditional Italian food with a gourmet edge. Decent portion sizes, you won't leave hungry. Surprise cocktails, a feast in a glass. Chili margarita is a must.

Absolutely love coming here! The Courtyard has a chill, friendly atmosphere and is where all the locals eat. I always have the hardest time picking from the menu as the specials are always so interesting and delicious-sounding but are up against some pretty stiff competition from the classic dishes available. Staff are very laid-back and warm, the place is completely unpretentious even though the food is good enough for it not to be! Definitely don't miss it if you make the trip over, bring a bunch of friends so you can get lots of plates to share!

We had a lovely lunch at this new, busy little cafe. The food was very healthy with clean and fresh flavours. We enjoyed a very pretty and delicious zucchini salad and an avocado sandwich. The bread was just superb, very light and freshly baked on the premises. We enjoyed the fact we could have a simple, reasonably priced light lunch. It is a very sheltered and sunny spot although it does miss out on the sea views. Coffee to finish was very smooth with a flavour that left no bitter after taste. Service was friendly and food was prompt once we had placed our order. We shall certainly go again on our next visit to the island. Highly recommend a visit.

This is my pick of Waiheke restaurants! Unpretentious and seriously good food. Arrived late after a long sail from Barrier last week and staff were so welcoming and happy to look after us. Stunning duck pie and fresh fish. Second visit this week even more delicious with a chicken marsala parfait to die for and yummy scallops. We had a really nice sangiovese and all the staff are great Don't miss this gem.

Possibly some of the best food on Waiheke. Amazing menu with decent sized portions. Great value for money. The location isn't much to get excited about, just a view of a service road and a horrible real estate office. The service was poor but then that's the same wherever you go on the island so I won't hold it against them. Once the FOOD comes out you won't care about anything else.

Make the effort to find this place. Like most places not quite on the main drag, it tries harder. Lovely cheerful friendly atmosphere. Menu is full of things I will come back for but today I had the best burger ever!!! It was so good, i didn't even need the ketchup side I ordered.....I usually need ketchup intravenously! In retrospect, don't tell anyone. It'll only get too busy & I won't get a table next time.
