D.The pies here are definitely the best, period. The mince and cheese is a delicious combination of perfectly fried mince and a good serve of cheese, and no sign of the sloppy, goopy gravy you often find in other bakery pies. These are decent sized pies too! I've heard their burgers are something very special so that'll be my next treat there 😊

P.Glad to see this spot back open and doing level 3 contactless service. The burgers are a big and tasty. Had a coffee from here recently for the first time, now I wish I had been getting coffee with my burger every time I visited. You can park a truck out the front, truckies on their way in from up north take note.
G.The jalapeno beef pie is incredible. It is HUGE and surely counts as a meal, totally worth it.

R.Very quick for the food to come out considering I ordered seven items for the family, the chef was helpful I told him I was in search of the Optimus burger that I heard about from a friend and he knew exactly what I wanted. you can get single or double Patty I got the double and it comes with cheese beetroot greens bacon and some nice sauce, be warned if you order the above you may struggle to eat some fries we had two serves one with cheese and one with mushroom. My partner had a pork burger which she loved and devoured entirely the kids had a simple cheese burger with tomato the desserts were also nice and highly recommended we had weetbix slice Afghan oat biscuit and caramel slice. The server was very friendly and easy to get along with. I will be back

M.Never post reviews, feel I have to for The Grind as they do the best burgers and pies you will ever have, at very good prices too. Favourites are the Cranberry Chicken Burger and Steak and Cheese pie.
The owners and staff are lovely also and late night Fridays means you can pick up dinner on the way home.

A.I'll go out on a limb and go these are the best dam pies I've found in Auckland over the 3 years I lived here (and consistant which is important). 6 bucks well spent . Well worth the price. And the coffee is mint as well. Every different staff member has been easy to deal with and helpful . A+

A.This is by far the best burger joint ever. I had a pork burger, hubby had the optimus grind and kids had a cheese burger. I sneaked away with 4x weetbix slice, caramel slice, Afghan, and oat biscuit for our dessert. We will be back this time next week.
_.If you are trying to diet and eat clean... do not come here... because you will not want to diet and eat clean ever again... the burgers are on ! Should be open 24/7... the staff make you feel welcome all the time ! I do not diet anymore.
