S.Ordered the Specials - deconstructed basil and tomato bagel and Zuchinni Crayfish on a bisque. Also ordered Aubergine pasta, Steamed snapper and Fish and Chips. Food was so fresh and delicious! So so good as were the seedlip cocktails. Thank for such a great lunch!
R.Tend to go here for the great dessert menu. I've yet to try the mains (except the cheeseburger which I've had and didn't have dessert on this night but the rest of my table did) so looking forward to seeing what is on offer on my next visit. Their menu changes regularly but hope to see my favourite dessert back on the menu at some point!

P.Love this place. We are regulars and the staff, food, service is amazing. Great position as well. Only taking 1 star off as they closed on Mon-Thurs at 5.30. Just when we get there after work. So gutted. Please can you stay open longer, it’s the middle of summer, perfect spot to spend my money on champers. Should be 5 stars apart from closing too early.

M.Lost a star only because of the early closing time. Why do you close at 5.30? Love this place! I’m a regular. The staff are amazing and so is the food. Now I’m back at work the only time I can come in is after 5.30. Please please please stay open later! Our summer is amazing and this is the best place to enjoy a bottle or 3 of champagne!!!

The night was made all better because of the wait staff. Our waitress managed our food order and timed it so well.

Matt Lambert, the chef (Michelin Star) creates this delicious dishes from locally sourced seafood, vegetables, olive oil & cheeses served with quality wines & refreshing cocktails. Warm setting with outside sitting as well. Prime location - next to Auckland Viaduct.
A.The quality of food and service was par excellence. A great meal, wine and the weather gods obliged. Tracy gave us excellent service. The wine list has some hidden treasures. Enjoyed our afternoon visit. Thank you.
J.Stumbled across this place on a Sunday morning before heading to Waiheke. Young barman polite & friendly ( he took the photos). The French Maitre'dee was friendly and helpful. Beautiful pasta and my mate had the burger. We enjoyed it so much we went back for more on the way home. Thanks guys we will be back.

S.Elegant setting with a crushed palate of earth material, wood stone and metal, with dark base colours all. Moodily lit to give a rustic chice atmosphere. Sophisticated take on classic dishes and excellent service. Mains Portions are at least adequate with side dishes generous. The price is OK though its not cheap its competitive with other similar offerings.
K.I visited at around 3pm for just a couple of drink with snack, not having proper meal, but their waiter and waitress are so nice and kind like we are having a great dinner there.
C.Nice to try a new restaurant in Auckland, was a little disappointing and I feel the menu needs to reflect New Zealands traditional cuisine more, for example it would have been nice to see some venison and salmon on the menu.
I had the 400gm aged sirlon steak which did not have much flavor and was a little try.
Nice furniture and fittings and staff service was good.

B.The menu is blessed with some if the best meals my whanau have ever had. The pork belly, the steak fries, the Lodges interpretation of Fish & Chips - delicious 😋. Reasonable price easy access via the Downtown carpark. Seriously good food and the team that helps you navigate through these delights are awesome
S.To be honest it was just average and disappointing.
The staff were lovely, but we felt rushed despite the place being only half full at 7.30pm on a Friday night.
The food was nice and reasonable portions, it was expensive but that was expected due to the location, unfortunately my steak was over salted as were my fries. My husbands flounder on the other hand was delicious.
We didn't fancy any of the desserts, but were contemplating another drink, but after we declined the dessert we were presented with the bill, so we paid and left and got one elsewhere.
I think maybe the chef needed to spend less time on his phone (downside of an open kitchen), and more time ensuring his team are not so heavy handed with the salt.
Not somewhere we'd go back to.

Place feels trendy, nice bar, but felt a bit odd sitting next to a busy entrance to adjacent mall, it was a busy day where many people looked into us eating.
Waitress was fine, but no wow service factor.
Entree we had bread and chips, bread came with no dipping oil or butter and needed to ask, the bread by itself would have been so bland.
We both had pasta which was okay, but also no wow factor.
Gave it a try, okay, worth a try, but won't be a regular.
N.Exquisite dining experience on a Saturday night. Food was superb and service faultless. Was extremely impressed at how our waiter handled an innocent error. Lovely decor too - enjoyed the plant feature and the tall windows. Highly recommend for a fine meal.
R.Horseradish oysters are a must. Haven't had food this delicious for a long time. Everything was absolutely stunning. Perfectly cooked and beautifully presented. This is Michelin Star food
j.Discovered out of the blue. I'm a fan of Rod & Gun clothes but their dining is barr none (pun intended). Marwan, the attentive waiter spotted us with our dog and immediately found us a seat outside and brought some water out for her.
Browsing the menu we were suitably impressed.
Haute Cuisine! Delicious and fantastic customer service. Definitely return. Nicholas our other waiter also did a great job.

T.Brilliant food, especially their 700g steak. Absolute perfection. Service is wonderful - Anthony in particular is attentive and charming. Decor is Scandi-chic and looks the part. Tonight was our second visit, I imagine the third and fourth will follow shortly.

What more can be said? Well maybe an essay or two... As not much of an oyster fan I was completely bowled over by the beautiful selection and in general blown away by the poise and presentation of all the dishes. We shared a multitude of dishes for max pleasure, I suggest you do the same. I will come back to the rest of the entrées... One bite of the Wagu Steak and you are lured into a state of pleasure innappropriate for a restaurant setting. Make room for desert. Smash that meringue and get in amongst it!
I don't know what magic there was in the fingers of the chefs that day, but my lord the Trevally Crudo and the Kingfish... all elements of texture, smell, colour, flavour came together so perfectly that my eyes stated welling up with joy. Never have I ever cried at food, I hope one day I will do so again.
