My local (Manurewa) is average, sometimes the filets are small and the coating on the fish is soggy. Couple times ordered snapper meals and added extra snapper which was not snapper. Also had off raw fish from there too. Other times it's been great but it's so inconsistent. The raw fish here has to be the best though and goes so well with there fried bread.

Still the same wonderful food. Well presented, fresh and great value for your money. Variety from fresh seafood, fried bread and of course the famous fish n chips. I prefer the raw mussels, raw fish in punnets with fried bread. A meal on it's own. A must to pamper your taste buds.

Fresh fish and chips. Great value. Fried bread seemed very popular here too. Note they have moved a few shops down to the corner so are still in the area. Also had a high turnover customers which always a good sign.

I love getting Kai here today was kutai rewai in burnt butter garlic ginger onion nd coriander sauce all made with love at home.. Plus we got special 4 nd 4 fish burgers

Fave rawfish, donuts & seafood salad. Honestly love coming here to eat. Batter on the fish is light & the fish is ALWAYS fresh. The prices are also very very affordable. Everything jas always been tasty and cooked to perfection when I've come here & thats for dine in or take away.

Always yummy good value packs, raw fish, fried bread and really nice staff. Once we were near to closing and they gave us the extra bag of fried bread for free! They didn’t want it to get wasted.

Tobys have changed post COVID lockdown - the standard battered fish is now hoki or shark as opposed to some of the other fresh fish they used to sell. Still good value for money but no longer the go-to for our family here in manurewa. Fried bread is still good as is the rest of the offerings. Just disappointed the fish is just like any other average fish and chip shop now.

Awesome customer service and fare prices. Fish was fresh and chips were soft inside crispy outer. Not a place I would dine in with my young family as the table is along the wall so that u are looking at it and there is limited seating. Would recommend takeout.

I love Toby's seafood in manurewa, they are my all time fave! I always go here when I'm in need of that seafood fix. I love the vibes they have it has a great aura about it that makes you feel welcomed. The food is tasty, fry bread is amazing and its excellent customer service always makes me and my family feel at home. This place is highly recommended by me and my family. Everything I expected!!! It's been afew years since eating good Kiwi Cuisine IN Nz lol.
