Didn't think I would end up at a restaurant this afternoon but I did and man was that some of the best food I've had in a while. Loved everything I got but next time I am getting that banoffee pie for desert. Overall I loved it here will be back again hopefully soon 🙂👍🏾

It’s a 5 star establishment. From the start to finish the staff is just absolutely fantastic and the smile 😊 from the staff WOW. That’s just one part: the food is too good to be true. That spare ribs have given me an an extra spare you know where. The pork will come back from Wellington just to give it another shot, oh my tummy so full. And the best the Banatoffe tart it’s the best!!! 🥇🥇🥇🎯

WOW..this place is still around simply because the service is top notch and the food is AMAZINGLY YUMMY. Where else in Auckland do you pay $39.90 for a FANTASTIC 3 COURSE MEAL. The seafood chowder especially is just WOW! BIG UPS TO EACH & EVERYONE OF YOU!!!😋🙌👏❤

The service was great. The workers were very welcoming and very accommodating to their guests. Could not fault their service. The restaurant is nice and quaint, however, for a large group it was very stuffy inside and you aren't allowed to open the windows, more suitable for a smaller group. Now the food was a let down for me, however they do serve a very generous portion. For a starter I ordered - Wedges, a bit soggy, over cooked and bland, nicest thing on the plate was the sour cream. Main - Fettuccine, really disappointed 😞 it was a bowl of oil. Definitely not creamy, over cooked and the cream had curdled making it unpleasant to eat. Dessert - Fudge cake was the best dish of the night. Beautiful presentation and a well balance of sweetness.

Had seafood chowder and pumpkin lasagna. Chowder was very average, lasagna was all good. Service was shocking Tony's missed out on heaps of beers n wine to add to the bill. Never mind us as it was a Sunday.

We moved to Henderson and wanted to try this Restaurant I wanted to give it five stars but I felt four was justified. The staff were friendly and made us very welcome I really wanted oysters but not available disappointed. I had fillet Mignon and my wife had Mexican Fillet Steak Both meals cooked to perfection and a very generous portions, prices medium and good value. The reason for 4 stars purely decor and atmosphere, the restaurant very tired, to much dark and brown, very old light fittings the whole place needs a lighten up to make it a more cosy and to have a good ambiance. For a good meal and good service and the decor dosent worry you give it a go.

Food was good, decor is a little old but it also made the experience more old school. Was very warm inside dont think the air conditioning was working very well. As we went to leave there was a medical emergency and your bar manager come shift manager come first aider seemed a little out of her depth dealing with such thing. I would suggest you have more than one first aid trained person on the at anyone time. Update, 16th July 2021 was there for dinner food was delicious service was OK but the real letdown was the male toilets. Nearly locked myself in the cubicle as the handle came off. The toilet seat fall off as I lifted it and the dirt and dust on the window ledge was gross. Also theres quite a lot of spider webs in the toilet also. Just simple maintenance would fix this

Great tasting food & service, the staff were very friendly and professional, seated us as soon as we walked in, and after ordering, our drinks & food came out very quickly. Was quite impressed. Presentation was excellent & the dessert was top notch. Many thanks to the Tony's team for being fantastic. One of the best restaurants out west Auckland to dine at. Definitely try it if you're in the area.

Great, delicious, affordable, value for money takeaway options available. All menu items that I have tried are scrumptious! Highly recommend

The kai I had today was O for AWESOME The fillet mignon and mushroom with chips came with a salad was melt in your mouth not in your hand material. Then came out the banoffee and honestly the hype for this particular dish made me order it and when the waitress served it I couldn't help but let out a OMFG! It was out of this universe good! i don't want to eat another banoffee slice from anywhere else Tony's it is!!! Hats off to the chefs and the staff thank you for a very scrumptious meal, I loved it! *Next Maybe

Dinner for two at Tony's tonight. Have to recommend the Mexicana Fillet and Fillet Mignon under the Premium Steaks section of the menu...so well cooked and extremely yummy! Excellent service too by the waiter and waitresses - thumbs up for them for making us feel so welcoming!! Hopefully will come back again 🙂

We were back for dinner recently. It was a good family restaurant. Spacious and pleasant. Service was normal. This time we opted for the set menu. The food was tasty and the portion was reasonable. We enjoyed the meal. If you are looking for a good Western meal, you should try this restaurant.

We are having our lunch here now and are so surprised by the friendly service and lovely yummy big serving food 🍗🍔 Will definitely go back. Thanks everyone there 😀

The Hostess was pleasant and our Waitress exuded a dire need to cater to us and I'm grateful but both their behaviours seemed almost patronizing. My meal (Fish n Chips), although nice to eat and presented well, was not value for money. Other more up-market restaurants give bigger prece of fish for less than what i was charged so wasn't happy with that. Also slice of banoffee pie for $14 (all Desserts same peice) was not value for money with. Would have been cheaper to buy the whole pie rather than per slice.

Let me preface this by saying I am a vegetarian. This place is a steakhouse. This review is for vegetarians that find themselves eating here for whatever reason. The reason I went to Tony's is cause I had a work Christmas function here. Others chose the venue. I saw that they had a vege pasta and was as excited to try it. Service was excellent, all the staff were really lovely and welcoming. All of my work mates got meat dishes (what Tony's is famous for) and largely spoke very highly of their meals. I got a vege pasta and a side of chips. The waiter gave me alot of options for the pasta and I asked for some kind of cheesy dish. It was really tasty but the pasta was real mushy. Not sure if it might have been in the fridge awhile. I felt quite sick after my meal and I put it down to the pasta dish. If you are looking for a non alcoholic drink, their punch is delicious. I recommend it. All in all I had a great time at Tony's. The staff are awesome, the punch is world class and my team mates enjoyed their meals. I mostly enjoyed my meal too but I did feel pretty rough in my stomach about 30 mins after my meal

Very impressed with the fresh tasty food and a very good price. Little to complain about (except that maybe the takeaway containers were cardboard rather than plastic).

Bread and dips a little disappointing but the scotch fillet with chips and mushroom sauce was absolutely fantastic. Perfectly coked and seasoned. Served with nice seasonal well dressed salad. Also have great drink options for big kids like me (traffic light, coke spider as well as all the usual suspects). Dessert also pretty good. Would highly recommend, looking forward to going again

Friendly staff love the food always a doggy bag can't eat the dessert though or my eyes are always bigger then my belly 😄😂😄

We had a gathering for my Nieces graduation and we were given a set menu. This was sooòoo DELICIOUS and for the price, for a 3 course menu was amazing! Thank you! The service was Great and the kids we had with us also had their own combo menus 👍👍👍👍

Food was good when it arrived how ever it did arrive staggered by about five minutes. It took just under 1 hour to be served our mains. I ordered a drink halfway through my meal which was forgotten about. Also we were charged 10.50 for a kids meal which is supposed to be free on Sundays. I was sad that I could not have the all you can eat ribs because I didn't call in and book

We're regulars to the $39 3 course set menu. Food never disappoints. Love the menu options for this set menu, Good portion sizes for the big eaters. Waits not too long in between each course. Staffs friendly.

The service was quick and the 3 course meal combo is exceptional !very generous on their servings and staff were very hospitable and delivered everyone's meals in decent time and together with the big numbers we had! Also great that they have areas for when you book. Highly recommend the pork belly!👌

We did the set menu with a main and desert for $25.00 as long as you buy a drink or pay 5 bucks corkage if you take your wine. I had a steak with tonys sauce and my partner had the chicken salad, both were fantastic!! Desert was choc cake with cream and the cheese cake, again both were amazing. Amazing deal for fantastic food!! Just do it.

Great spot to bring the family to eat. We took advantage of the all you can eat ribs slaw n wedges for $20. Even managed to go home with a bonofee pie.. ❤ Thanks Tonys for having us.

The set menu is really great if you want to have a varied dinner. Steaks are great. They have special seasonings. The banoffee pie is a delicious dessert. All in all a great experience. 😋👍

Best value for money. Amazing food the chef cooks wonderfully. The bar staff and wait staff are super nice without being in your face. They are efficient and very good at there jobs. Our work had a lovely evening there celebrating a retirement. Will definitely be back.

On the set menu it can range from awesome food to average however dessert is amazing! Recommend banoffee pie or classic choco cake. Cocktails are decent and they offer such a wide range. Good sized restaurant fairly cozy but ive never been when its busy. Good for a cheeky date night or friendly catch up. Parking is a tad squished but you can park near warehouse stationary for 2 hours and just walk over :)

Enjoyed our Wedding Anniversary dinner there. Mentioned that to our waiter and as we were checking out, the other staff congratulated us. Felt very warm and friendly. Thanks again Tony's.

Food was good , well prepared and plenty of it. The seafood chowder was particularly good. Service was excellent-everything we asked for was provided. Only issues were that it was rather cold where we sat and there was a large noisy party of people adjacent which made conversation difficult. However the noise reduced as they ate!

Had the dino steak and bannoffie pie. Mains came out really quickly. Food was nice - could have done with a steak knife. Beer selection was very boring. Middle of the road bottles, no craft beers or anything interesting. Service was great. Staff attentive and friendly. Atmosphere was odd... can't put my finger on it. It's more of a 3.5 stars.

We really enjoyed lunch here today - a special deal $20 for a main meal and a dessert. Yum. Waiter was very helpful sorting us a table outside in the sunshine and making sure our food was OK.

The set meal is pretty good value for the price you pay and tastes fairly good too. I ordered wedges for entree which was a pretty big serving. For main, I ordered the salmon. The holandaise was sauce wasn't the greatest tasting and the salmon was a little over cooked. For dessert, I ordered the cheesecake, smaller serving than the last time i visited but was fine, tasted pretty good. The wait staff are prompt gathering used dishes and bringing orders out while also friendly.

Tonys never ever fails to please us, we always leave happy and full. Had a Baptism lunch of 60 pple, the staff were absolutely AMAZING and catered to all our needs. The food was next level and the price was exceptional. It was a very big day for our family and the staff went that extra mile to ensure everything went smooth. Our family was super impressed with the food and surprised at how cheap it was. We've been coming to Tonys for years and we'll continue to eat here for years to come !!!! thanks team!

I visited Tony's on Saturday 5/6/21 to celebrate my Dad's 80th Birthday. As a large group we went with the set menu. Everything on the menu looked amazing!!! ... however due to food sensitivities I have to follow a strict nutritional plan, meat free, dairy free, gluten free, refined sugar free, whole food plant based diet & thought I would need to compromise as I do most times I eat out. Tony's staff took my requirements around food seriously & created a meal off menu that stuck within the guidelines of my nutritional needs! Chef Bhupi went beyond the call of duty to not just provide me with the nutrients my body needed but plated the most beautiful meal that was as pleasing to the eye as it was to my tastebuds. The staff in general were amazing & did not hesitate to make sure my needs were met. I don't eat out often as I do not like to compromise with my diet as it can affect my health, in fact eating out is a stressful experience for me! Not at Tony's!!! So grateful, a huge thank you, I will be back😊

To the two ladies (staff) who offered to hold my little one while I wolfed down my delicious Halloumi Salad, thank you! It really made us feel welcome, will definitely be back as the food was great too!

Set Menu is always good value for money, not too many places where you can get a 3 course meal for under $40

My family & I visited Saturday 20.02.2021 Lunch set menu $ 20.00 pp. Table of 4 adults. We had 2 x Filet Mignon, eye filled wrapped in bacon topped with mushroom sauce served with salad & fries ( best fries ever crunchy on the outside & fluffy on the inside ). 1 x Smoked Chicken Salad with brie, avocado, bacon & walnuts. 1 x Chicken Fettuccine in a creamy mushroom & bacon sauce. Dessert 2 x Lemon 🍋 Meringue 🥧 Pie & 2 x Banoffee Cream 🥧 Pie Fantastic service from Ben & Ryan. Food was delicious !!! 😋 Cursing ourselves we usually take photos we were so hungry we forgot 😅

Food was great so was the service . I had a mini meal of fish & chips but another person in our group ordered a sirloin steak that was all that was on the plate apart from a mushroom sauce. I would of thought for the price at least salad or chips should of been on the plate.

Wow! Once again Tony's Restaurant has excelled in their service and provision of delicious food! We have been a number of times with large groups and every time we love how we are treated and the quality of food provided!! Best food ever, can't rave enough about this place, been going here for meals for over 30 yrs and never had a bad meal yet, service was fantastic and all our meals came out at the same time and there were 25 of us seated evenly at 3 tables. Staff amazing

A group of 12 Adults and 3 children had dinner at Tony's last night. I was a bit shocked when I first walked in as the decor is so dated. The place had very little appeal. No background music and sitting in the dingy dark lounge area felt cramped and didn't have a nice vibe about it at all. The place definitely needs a makeover, even just a paint and pictures or a big mirror on the wall will help. However, the food was damn fabulous. Pork belly cooked to perfection. Burger looked fabulous, all the food was great! It all arrived to the table together within abound half an hour. The waitress was lovely, bubbly and obliging. Well done Tony's. First impressions count though. Let's brighten the place up.

Went here tonight for the first time, had an 8pm booking but the wait to be seated was about 15mins. Who cares as we were served a drink immediately and seated in the waiting area. Once seated, we were given a choice of menus and it was soooo hard to decide, but we chose a la Carte. The starters were out within around 5 mins even though it was an overly busy Friday night. Not long after, our amazing steak prawn scallop skewer things came out and it is honestly one of the best meals I have had at a steak house. The staff were awesome, friendly and seemed to genuinely care. We will be back, we want to go through that whole menu to see if it is as good as what we had tonight Thanks for a great experience Tony’s!

Everything you want. Good food. Pleasant staff. Good prices and quiet enough to have lovely conversation. Tucked away in Henderson but worth hunting down.

All you can eat ribs is delicious and definitely worth more than the price. It's a bit dark inside for my liking and the service is a tad on the slow side but the quality of the food is not bad and parking is good. Good for small group dinners.

I attended this restaurant on the 12/07/2020. My first impressions as I walked through the door, I was greeted almost immediately, they were very organised and seated myself and my party of 2 to our table. We were offered a drink almost immediately and given plenty of time to read the menu before we made our choice. The 2 set meal (main and dessert) was perfect as most times I struggle to finish 3. I suffer from an egg allergy, and having been pre-warned they were aware of this and were able to cater to my needs. The food was delicious, as I ate my filet mignon that was perfectly cooked medium rare the way I requested it, the flavours were nice and worked with the mushrooms, and Tony’s punch accompanied the food well. I was unable to eat any dessert on the menu due to my egg allergy but my party enjoyed the dessert they had while I was offered an alternative of lemon and mango sorbet which was nice considering the circumstances. All in all, I highly recommend this restaurant, as the waitressing staff (Tia, Ben, Lily, and Jessie) were absolutely friendly, and we shared many laughs throughout the night which made the experience that much more special. I hope to go back very soon and I will recommend and consider attending this restaurant in the near future.

Today's Saturday menu was $20 which is a great price for a gourmet cheeseburger with side chips and a choc mud cake, I was iedaughter the way we were treated, as it was my daughters birthday and they let us set up cake in a private area.

This place has always been amazing and I'm happy to say it still is. I mean where else can you get eye fillot wrapped bacon and a desert for just $20!!!! This is off there $20 2course lunch menu. The burger is also off there and look how huge it is. Food was cooked to perfection and the price is amazing, dessert is always yum too. This will always be one of my most favorite places to eat at.

Had the three-course menu and chose the Beef Kofta as the entree, Pork Belly for the main and the Banoffee Pie for dessert. Overall, all the dishes were super tasty and flavoursome, I was definitely satisfied by the end of the night. We had quite a big group but the service was speedy and consistent throughout and waiters/waitresses were friendly, patient and showed great customer service. Would love to come back to try other dishes!

I called one night before the one I wanted to have dinner at Tony’s restaurant to make a reservation for 4 adults and two kids, but I was told by a female attendant that a reservation wasn’t needed, also that “I would be fine to walk in”-her words. I wanted to have a special night with my parents who came overseas to visit us, but when I walked in to Tony’s I was told the restaurant was full and that nothing could be done. The manager made no effort to please us. I was so excited to taste their food, but after such a disregard, I decided to call the owner because maybe that could have been some unexceptionable behavior from an employee. The owner offered me a courtesy so that I could change the bad image I had gotten from my first attempt of going there. I had lunch with my family and we were treated well. The food was delicious, the place has a pleasant atmosphere, and the waiters were very kind. I just have to thank the owner for the way he treated me after I complained about the service at Tony’s restaurant. Now I can definitely get back there again with my family and also recommend the place to my friends.

Went here for father's day and had a great lunch at a very reasonable price. The fish of the day was superb and the desert was something to die for. The only thing that would improve the experience is to change the decor. The place is very dark and dingy inside and it has always been so for years. It is surprising that they haven't got someone in to lighten the place up with brighter paint on the walls and increased lighting. I am sure that would increase their customer base if they took a bit of time and trouble to do it. I for one would then recommend the place to my many friends outside Henderson and would be proud to do so. Let's face it, there is nothing wrong with the food and because there is not a lot of competition in the area they could be a real hallmark restaurant. Come on, let's do it !

$20 all you can eat ribs. Not the best ribs I've had but its ok for the price. The service was pretty bad. They were so short staffed. Waited over 30min for our second lot of ribs to be served. We had a vegan friend with us, this is NOT the place for vegan. She could really only eat the salad they had soup we were told tomato soup but when it came to our table it wasnt and no one told us they ran out of tomato soup until we asked. The decorations was really outdated. They really need to do a renovation in the place.

Excellent service. While they don’t say that they cater for food allergies they bent over backwards for us. My family of 4 with coeliacs who are also dairy intolerant. The kitchen and wait staff were amazing running backwards and forwards to the table to ensure that our meal was safe. 😃 we made the reservation the same day but if you give them a days notice they were saying they could make the experience even better!

Great value for money! Love the salmon dish, cooked to perfection every time with yummy veges. Although it was better served with the rice thing or whatever it was. Not as nice with the big hash brown unfortunately. I hope they change it back to whatever it was, just divine :)

Quality honest food, great value for money, generous serving sizes and last but not least fantastic service. Best restaurant out west. Often get the filet mignon which is always cooked perfectly. Kids love the food as well. Highly recommend.

Very good experience, friendly staff escorted us to our reservered table, Steven was our assigned waiter who really looked after us. Drink orders taken along with garlic bread, promptly served. Meal orders were taken and were all bought out at once after aprox 25min. Presentation excellent and was super delicious. Birthday cake supplied by us was bought out and usual birthday songs were sung also dessert was served! A very memorable night, thank you so much to all the management and staff at "TONY'S restaurant in Henderson.. would reccoment to anyone wanting a great celebration dinner.

Had my daughters 21st Dinner there. Had a set menu and it was great value and quality. Very happy with service. No waiting and food served hot. Wait staff were patient and friendly. Well done guys it was a great night and would come again. The set menu is exceptional value.

This place was absolutely amazing!!!!!! Our waiter Finley gave us the best Tony's experience. The Crumbed Scallops were cooked to perfection and The Dino Steak was my personal favourite. Overall I give this place a personal 5 star review because why not ♥☻

Very nice food and a good variety. Good service and very helpful staff. They have very good deals for different nights. Monday $15 burger with chips and onions rings and drink night. With 5 different burger to choose from. And Thursday night is all you can eat ribs. The meat falls off the bone and has a delicious plum sauce. I would highly recommend going to Tony's for dinner or lunch.

Excellent food and service. Meal portions were good size, and reasonably priced. New take away menu is great! Good to support a local business during these covid19 times.

Good customer service and a good selection of food

Nice Friendly Staff, Menu and specials explained in detail by the lovely waitress. Only let down was wedges and ribs were warm and too much sauce which made them too sickly after the 2nd rib. But on a brighter note they were tender and the fudge cake and cheesecake were yummy so left satisfied Thank you.

Group of 5. Orders taken promptly and starters and mains delivered in a timely manner but we were then left sitting waiting to see the desert menu. Asked a waitress to see one, She said said fine then nothing so we gave up and left. Lovely manager Beryl. Will be a loss when she goes.

We had my mother’s 60th birthday who turned into a surprise wedding! The staff at Tony’s were amazing and so very accommodating! Everyone enjoyed their meals and had a great time! Thank you Tonys!!

Fantastic menu that never gets old, food tastes as good as it looks and sounds and service is second to none my go to for any occasion. Only criticism is that the restaurant could do with some renovating as it does feel dated. Dont let the run down look fool you! Easily a 5⭐ experience!!

Food was good, bit of a scam paying $28 for two slices (not even 1/4) of banoffee pie to take home when it is $28 for the whole bloody thing (they claimed to not have a whole pie)

Very established restaurant with decent food and lovely waiting staff, but it's like time travel back to the 80's. Really tired building, dull decor and no music. Needs a manager with fresh enthusiasm and 100K to fix up. If I'm going to blow $50 on dinner I'd sooner go to the waterfront or somewhere like that for an experience, instead of just a nice steak.

Wasn't the best quality, I was really hoping the the reviews weren't true. The prices are super high and I personally don't think it was worth as much. The starter was nice, I got the Seafood Chowder. It's a very strong seafood taste so don't get it if you aren't a big fan. My main was the biggest disappointment. I was super excited when I read that there was Pork Belly. When it came out it looked delish, with broccoli and carrots along with a big portion of potato mash. However.. The vegetables weren't cooked long enough and was very hard to cut with the knife we had been given at the start. The pork crackling was burnt and was just soaked in oil. For dessert I got Chocolate Fudge, that was the best enjoyment but my main was very disappointing :c

I had a voucher given to me, so I decided to give this restaurant a go. From the outside it is unassuming. Thought it a bit drab. And inside, quite lacking in ambience and atmosphere. But the steak! Cooked to perfection and the accompaniments were very nice as well. So - food I would put as 4 star, and atmosphere as 2, which rounds it out to about a 3 star. I will go back, because that was the best steak I've had in a long time.

the $39 3 course set menu was what my group and I went to Tony's for and it was worth it! Had a decent selection to choose from, only problem on the night was Banoffee Pie wasn't available. Highly recommended and most of my group traveled from South Auckland and enjoyed the food and the atmosphere. A Gem of the West 👍

I booked over the phone with no hassle. I got there and was approached immediately from Front Staff, very pleasant and professional. I needed to wait for my friend so i had a drink, the prices were pretty good. The atmosphere was very warm and welcoming, clean and tidy though maybe a change in seating to make it a bit more appealing was the only thing but not major. We were seated straight away by our friendly waiter who was very helpful. Out food was SOOOOOO GOOD and such good value for money. Dessert was great but was hoping for a bit more choices but knew that we had the set menu for the $35 dinner special. All in all, we were full, happy but next time WE'RE BOOKING A TAXI haha we wanted to have a bit more to drink by my driver was the sober one .....LOVED YOUR SERVICE TONYS THE FOOD WAS BEAUTIFUL AND GREAT PORTIONS SERVED :)

Walked in from the street and there was a free table for 3. The service was excellent and fast. Only had a main each and a wine. Meal was great. Was really impressed with a nice cooked steak and veges.

Nothing spectacular. I was expecting at least 4-star hotel food, but it was merely above average. The steak we ordered was burned, and serving size was much like a kids meal. It is an expensive meal, so we were expecting more. The attitude of staff was below average, it was a bit overcrowded so perhaps the staff are really tired.

Set menu was very tasty and very generous portions. This deal is very good value for money

Exactly what you can expect from a long-standing westie restaurant. These guys have stood the test of time with great service, great food and reliable decor. Just don't expect much to change the next time you come back (rather humbling if you ask me)

Good food but average service. Ordered a bottle of wine as I sat down and my partner ordered a cocktail, they waited until we both got our mains main to told me that the bottle I wanted was not available anymore and that my partner's drink could not be made as well.

A great find in Central Henderson. We tried the Set Menu and were delighted with all our meals. A good selection was offered at outstanding value for money. 3 courses for $40. Well worth a visit. We will definitely return.

Great food and our hostess for the evening was amazing. We had a table of 22 and our kids on other tables up the top from our big table. all our meals came out one after the other awesome service.

We went for the Burger and Beverage night (Monday). Huge tasty burger, generous side of onion rings and chips. You were able to choose a wine, beer or soft drink. All that was just $15.00. Great value.

Tonight my friend, my son and i dined at your restaurant. It was extremely busy when we came in with a 45 minute wait for tables. As i have been in hospitality many years i took this as an opportunity to sit back and watch. I have managed circus circus and worked at orbit restaurant and understand how it feels when its that busy. I was absolutely impressed to put it mildly. The staff were not stressed and knew their jobs, and although there was a wait the tables were turned with brillent speed. We were setted and had a confident and delightful lady called jess come to take our order. She was smiling under pressure and we felt very well looked after even though it was clear we were one table of many that jess was serving. The meals came with lighting speed and were all cooked to perfection. If i hadnt been out in public i would have chewed the bone!! I noticed berill taking notes and keeping a very watchful eye in the entire restaurant (not an easy task at all with that capacity) and was still looking fresh and smiling when we came to pay. Tonys restaurant in my book is a fundamental to west auckland and bringing my friend who is not from west, made me very proud we have this caliber of service here. A wonderful restaurant to.attend for a birthday - Waitress was really good - maybe could of come up to table to make sure drinks were kept topped up ,steak ,fish pork meals were excellent ,burger meals weren't quite up to scratch of younger ones , garlic bread needed alot more garlic on, dessert sorbet could be served in a nice glass with fresh cream raspberry coulis & sprinkles , not in a pastry case ( unless anaglaise custard with fresh fruit Base ) ,Fish meal maybe a good selection of Fish bit size pieces in crumb tartare sauce & fresh salad with variety of salad dressings for mains and starters provided , fillet steak with scallops ,prawns ( without tail shells on ( no.bacon a bit to salty spoils meal) Otherwise thanku meal was lovely & excellent service from staff.

Consistently well presented family meals, generous portion sizes, friendly staff. Would highly recommend, remember freshly cooked meals take a little longer to arrive, just like at home but better as no dishes to wash.

Decent BYO steakhouse, Cobb and Co quality standard fare. My go to place when I want steak with a bottle of wine from home. Recent menu changes seems to have removed marinade from my favorite Steak Italiano, now less tasty.

Had chilli prawn starter and carpetbag steak rare. My partner had the seafood chowder starter and chicken with bacon and mushroom sauce.Chilli prawn starter was 4 overcooked prawns for $16. Carpetbag steak was perfectly cooked. Vegetables were raw, mash was average. Seafood chowder was OK bit small bit salty. Chicken was great but sides were the same as mine.

We went to Thursday night all you can eat pork ribs wedges an mayo and coleslaw.. we love the ribs but they come out 1 at a time an because we were such a big group the ribs were coming out slowly lol other then the slow refills of the ribs the place was great

I think Tonys need a major revamp,its very dull and dark,no ambience ,the ceilings are too dark,should be white and some nice bright pictures on the walls,when u walk in its dark not very inviting..In saying that the food was really nice well worth the the price...
