Visited a place with high expectations as per google reviews. The place was well maintained in tidy condition and male staff member who served my order was friendly. However, I felt the crepe I had ordered was not fresh enough (possibly stayed in the cabinet for too long) and price was marked quite high in general for the products. Still an interesting experience but I wouldn't say it was amazing like how others stated.

A bit pricey but I can’t really find these types of desserts elsewhere in Auckland, and also they are actually good! Been here couple of times and have not had a bad experience with the sweet treats on offer! A must-visit for matcha fan. I love that all their matcha-flavoured drinks and desserts are not too overly sweet and boast strong matcha taste. The matcha croissant has a generous matcha filling and the pastry is on point! Would be a good idea to go halves on it though as it is quite big! The hojicha roll cake is a beauty, would absolutely come back for it. Friendly staff and great interior.

My experience today was outstanding! I had matcha crêpe cake! Sooooo goood !!!! Like seriously! However is commented that its only okay cake I strongly disagree! It was so delightful! The staff was very nice. The atmosphere in the cafe is very relaxing. They play some classic music and it was great. Very clean ! I wish i can try more of their assortments but next time for sure! I was very full and happy after having a slice of crêpe cake. Delicious!!!! Delicious!!! 🤤

Went for a late night dessert run last night @tsujiri_nz 🤩🤩 . Found a place that does a big range off Hojicha (roasted green tea) themed drinks and desserts 😍🥰😍 . It's been a while since i had a yummy parfait, so we took the opportunity to grab one as soon as we saw it on the menu. We ordered: • Hojicha Shiratama Parfait • Matcha Lychee latte 😋 . We were totally full from the Korean food before it but just had to try this place out anyway. So glad we did cos the Hojicha was very flavorful and yummy 👌🏼 . The Shiratama balls were super mochi like and the Hojicha soft serve day on top of a bed of green jelly 🤤🤤🤤 . Soo good, soo happy, so glad we visited 🤩☺️🥰

One of my favourite dessert joints in town. This is a must visit for all matcha fans! It's never disappointing and the quality is excellent (A++ for consistency too)!!! My go to is always a matcha float, it's great if you can't decide between their delicious matcha or hojicha soft serve ice cream or something refreshing like their Yuzu tea. Their cabinet cakes are totally yum and they have great add-on's for menu items.

Love these desserts and beverage. Last time, my sister got me the Tsujiri cheese cake and she brought it with her on the plane all the way from Auckland to Christchurch. I was jokingly telling her that it was not worthy carrying the whole cake during the whole flight just because she wanted me to try it. OMG!! It’s so so so yummy and so worthy. I decided to come to Tsujiri by myself in our previous trip to Auckland for that cheese cake and it was not available on that Tuesday but other cakes are great to try to ❤️❤️ You guys must try the Tsujiri cheesecake!!

5 Stars definitely!! Nothing to complain about. The drink (Houjicha milk ice blended) was very good, there was a matcha flavour but it wasn’t too strong. The sugar definitely helped. It balanced the bitter flavour. The ratios and recipe was well designed and thought. I was served by a guy, he was so nice and welcoming. It was my first time at Tsujiri today. I think the service at Tsujiri is probably the best service I ever had in a drink shop. As soon as I stepped in the store, I know that this is a place I will need to come back again! I will definitely come back and explore the TSUJIRI MENU! Highly recommend!

If you like Japanese green tea, here is a good option. Delicate desserts, variety of green tea from hot to cold, from raw tea to roast tea. Environment is supreme comfort, relaxed light music and nice stuff. Price is also beautiful. Come and try, we will come back next time.

Just visit My favorite cakery for their new black sesame cake and matcha ice cream. Tastes good, I thought I am a fan of matcha. But when try the ice cream, I can't help myself to hold a bitter taste 😂. I would say that this is a healthy ice cream I ever eat. I would try their hot beverages next time, coz I am still curious.

This is some FANCY tea. Really awesome went there with friends and the vibes are chill. The drinks/deserts tasted amazing but are a little bit pricey to do often. Worth the money imo. I recommend the matcha float (nr.18)

The cafe looks really nice but I am not a big fan of matcha but tried it to see if I would like it. I grabbed a Tsujiri specialty set so that I could taste a selection of items. I just found most of the items way too bitter. The warabimochi was quite nice with the sugar syrup, otherwise, everything else wasn't to my liking. I had the hojicha drink and that was still too bitter. The cafe itself looks really nice and I would guess that if you are a fan of matcha then this cafe is for you.

Outstanding service! I have wanted to go into Tsujiri every time I walked past because the store design and decor are so invitinh, and today I finally caved. I was not disappointed! The staff seem to be very attentive and patient to their customers. The girl behind the counter greeted me warmly and presented a menu with the question of whether I would like a recommendation. She was knowledgable about the beverages and explained the ones I was intetested in well. Once I had ordered, they made it in front of me, demonstrating the process they have proudly displayed in print on the wall, and I did not have to wait long. They brought my drink to me in my seat, told me to mix it well, and kindly allowed me to take photographs. When I left, they thanked me and waved with happy smiles. My Houjicha Latte is delicious and just sweet enough :) I will go back to try the Matcha Latte next.

I finally found real matcha in AKL. They have legit taste of matcha (greentea) and same taste when I tried in KYOTO. Their matcha is bitter which is the one I was looking for. If you don't like taste of bitterness you must try Yuzu (Citron) or Houjicha which is roasted version of matcha (greentea). Their fittings are so awesome and friendly staffs.

When it first opened there was so much hype that it wasnt worth the wait. But now it has died down and more pleasant to sit in, though it can still get busy. This is more of a luxurious dessert place though as the price of food is quite pricey, one drink can cost up to $10. It’s been a bit of time since they’ve opened, but the hype is ongoing and still very real!!! My friend and I tried the iced milk series and the Tsujiri parfait — I’ve always loved matcha/green tea things (hello, I’m Asian😂) and they really achieved desserts that were gorgeously refreshing!!! The perfect balance between bitterness and sweetness and ugghhhhhhh 10/10 worth the wait!!! The Tsujiri parfait is so damn nice omfg, with crunchy elements from Asian cereal pieces I think? to mochi and chestnut bits, it’s so glorious and dangerously addictive omg If you go at the right times it’s a bit more quiet heh, would definitely come again (and again! Me and my friends really enjoyed every single time we visited Tsujiri. Their drinks are great and the desserts are very delicious, except that some are a little bit too sweet for me. In overall, Tsujiri is such a nice dessert cafe in town. This place has such a nice Japanese feel to it and the customer service in here is always good. Ordered the cold o matcha zenzai. Basically sweetened red beans, sticky rice balls and a piece of chestnut in matcha. The overall dish is not very sweet, the matcha balances the sweetness of the rest of the ingredients. Pretty good. The place to go if you like matcha. Happy to come back again to try other foods. However, I’m disappointed that I’m served with a plastic spoon. Not only it’s not environmental friendly. The spoon itself is small and short. Quite difficult to scoop up the ingredients and matcha. Seriously, how hard to provide a stainless steel spoon.

Finally, the wait is over. A place to have green tea dessert in Auckland! Was it good? Yeah, pretty good. The texture of the New York style cheesecake is a bit too soft and mousse like. The greentea ice-cream was pretty tasty as expected, but a little too pricey for a cup. Their Houjucha ice-cream is pretty nice too, bit bolder than the greentea. This place is very popular with uni students and office workers, can get quite crowded during dinner and lunch hour.

To try this well established Japanese macha place you have to first have the patience to wait for 10-15 minutes in the queue to place an order. Once you've ordered, you have to hope there'll be a table, then you can enjoy your Japanese macha dessert or drink. The drink was average in my view but desserts were nice. As usual, slightly over priced and slightly overrated. It should be a treat abs not an everyday visit. Service is warm and friendly but still needs lots of polishing to show some efficiency.

I had a cold Matcha Latte and the Swiss Roll. Everything was really delicious and the Matcha Latte was not sweetened with sugar which was great. The Swiss roll slice I had contained a whole strawberry and was one of the nicest desserts I've had in a long time. This place is pretty popular, so be prepared to wait.

Went twice in one week! Being a huge fan of matcha I just couldn’t resist. The cakes were no where as great as we had hoped but the matcha late and milk blends were all well received by my friends. I enjoy shiratama parfait much more than the tsujiri parfait- the flower was a very tasteless ice cream cone material and didn’t add much to the parfait asides from visuals. My favourite is definitely the tsujiri shaved ice, seemed to be the best for its value too. My friend loved the chiffon cake, but I have yet try. It is definitely on the more expensive side for matcha desserts, but is an exciting visit with a large group of friends who are good at sharing.

I love matcha and this is probably my new favourite dessert place. Best quality matcha drinks and desserts in the country. The store is perfectly friendly for non east-Asian folks so go in and give it a try. It is often busy however, so sometimes you don't get a seat or have to wait but it's worth it. The small store has great atmosphere. They also sell high quality matcha powder and tea leaves.

High grade matcha and hojicha dessert shop. We tried the Tsujiri Parfait and Hojicha Float. Quality was outstanding, the matcha and hojicha taste was strong and earthy. Having the roasted rice at the bottom was amazing - the additional texture and complexity the roasted rice added to the parfait was great, the neutral tasting mochi also complimented the strong taste of matcha well. The food is expensive here, but perhaps that's to be expected given the quality of the ingredients and brand name.

Definitely overpriced. Also you waste so much plastic. Reusable cups would have been a much better idea. You charge so much and many people eat/drink there. So why would you serve everything in takeaway containers? Not exactly what you would expect from a high end desert shop. I can buy 40g of super premium organic matcha from Japan for $34nzd. This will make around 20 cups of tea. $1.70nzd per cup. This isn't even at wholesale prices. Not sure you can justify you price just because you buy your tea from Japan.
