Great place and superb food! Staff are very accommodating. Their menu has a few options for vegetarians but you can request them to change those meat to your alternatives, veges and tofu. If you are coming to celebrate in a group, they have 2 separate rooms to accommodate.

What a lovely food experience. Food well cooked and tasty. Roti beautiful and fluffy. Curly fries crispy and drinks were such a cool treat. Thank you Team. I will definitely be back!! 😊😊

Impressed by the good customer service. Nice and clean and the food was delicious. Would recommend their lamb biryani and banana fritters with vanilla ice cream. The maggi goreng and nami yam was also good. Would love to come back here with friends or family.

This is a newly opened malaysian restaurant here in Manukau. Stunningly clean, staff are accommodating. Price is okay, food (especially the lamb biryani) is more than what i have expected. I tried their roti tissue (tastes like the "turon" wrapper if you're a filipino), i love how crunchy and sweet it is. Their laksa is comparable to that of Papparich, price more affordable. Finally there's a nearer place for us when our malaysian cravings come! Try it here, it's comfy, child friendly and clean. Highly recommended!

Very good seating space. Service was awesome food came out in time n yes very reasonable priced. Also lots of parking space.

Friendly staff and service. I only ordered the chicken curry puffs but they have to be the best I've had in the last 10 years. Excellent crispy casing, not greasy or flaky delicious spice on the chicken filling. Will be goi g back again. Hope their other dishes are as good as the puffs

Can't knock it, same flavor & presentation regardless of whether you order rice, egg noodle, rice noodle dishes. Feels like it's westernized. Got bored of food after 2nd time, didn't give me the "Malaysia" feeling when eating.

I love their Nasi goreng and the Kuey Teow Goreng at medium hot. There can be a bit of a wait time but I either ubereats or call and place the order before takeaways.

The only place in New Zealand that serves proper Roti Canai and other different styles of Roti Canai which is a Malaysian cuisine. Must go place to eat while in Auckland. Love the Virgin pina colada and my favourite Roti Tisu.

Bizarre location and not the most romantic, did not think that I would be taking my date to countdown but the roti was worth it, very pleasurable. The curly fries were great and well worth the price. Really enjoyed that there was an ice-cream cart there. However, the staff did not look too happy to be there apart from one friendly fellow :)

Yummy fried rice...Nasi Goreng😋😋must try their pan fried dumplings as well. Best Halal place to dine in.

Negatives: Staff are not very smiley, they always look slightly sombre. They dont let you choose where you sit and they corner off half of the restaurant. When ordering takeaway one time I got a very small portion of curry with hardly any chicken in it. Postives: The food is yummy and tasty. Everything is cooked fresh and to order. I am especially fond of the tumeric spiced chicken dish which was a large portion & worth the price. The roti canai is delicious and fresh. Overall I will come here again as I do think the food is flavourful and tasty and I want to try other things on the menu. Customer service needs some improvement. Please dont cut down on portion size when it comes to takeaway because dishes seem alot smaller than when I have eaten in the restaurant.

Not as nice as the city branches. Mee Rebus was too watery and a bit bland. Edit: We had the Mee Goreng and it was quite salty. Mee Rebus was quite good the 2nd time round.

Fantastic food and service. Perfect place to dine for dinner! We celebrated my husband's birthday here. My family loved the Roti tissue and the mutrabuk. We will definitely come back for more.

Good authentic Malaysian, however their K Road branch has much more authentic taste. Three stars because portions are too small, compared to other Malaysian restaurants

Very very good overall. Some dishes were sub par though, example the spicy beef on rice - lacked the... 'spicy' a little bland, thus a star lost.

10 stars for authentic food and exceptional service! Great vegetarian options. As I have grown up in KL, Malaysia, I was very connected to this restaurant and very pleased - it is the most authentic Malaysian food outside Malaysia that I have tried! After trying, you will be a regular. If you close your eyes you will feel like you are sitting in Malaysia. The customer service is fantastic, quick, and friendly. The food is so genuine. We had exceptional service from Naim who was excellent, friendly and a definite asset to the company. The friendly owner can be seen there frequently, a testament to their care for customers. Thank you for your food and service!

Food taste good, but the wait is not worth it. Need better management to meet the demands.

We went to this place for a team dinner 🥘 not that larger group which was booked in - people of different backgrounds- waitperson not that attentive to peoples needs - quite hot in the restaurant - the ordering of the food was wishy washy food came out staggered and then had to chase up three orders with one having to be chased up again and everyone else had finished eating - shame as the company was great - not that attentive to the group ☹️

This place has the best rotis and chicken curry. Staff are friendly and attentive. My new fav place to eat.

This branch absolutely has the sweetest staff ever. The malay lady over the phone tried her best to provide me very good service. Knowing that I was rushing for my flight after having my meal, they have had the meal all prepared and ready on the table when we were there!! The food was nothing but amazing!! This is possibly the best Malaysian food that you can find in Auckland!!

Food was actually quite nice, new place clean and looking sharp. Tables are quite far, staff all stated on the bar area. When I was ordering there were 3 stuff and 3 tables. I had to continuously WAVE around to get attention to order. My son went to ask for a takeaway box for left over, they said they will bring it where ended up I had to re-call and ask again after waiting 5 minutes. Good food good place decent price. Better stuff to are TUNED IN when working will make the experience much pleasant.

Nice atmosphere. Plenty of seating. Looked reasonably clean and tidy. Decent sized menu. Food took about 15 minutes to arrive. 2 of the 3 mains arrived warm, the other was hot. Portion size was good and filling. Price was decent for a starter and main. Taste..... Hard to say. I didn’t love it but I didn’t hate it either. Would visit again if had to but would prefer other local options as a first preference.

Hubby and I's, first time here in Uncle Man's a New Malaysian restaurant in southpoint serving Halal meats👍. setting is good not to crowded when we came in today, very clean and tidy and friendly staff. Food is nice, sizing is good and price reasonable. We love their chicken satay its tender and not dry, would love to try the lamb next time. Kuey Teow nicely done &tasty. Only the mince in Murtabak a little bit dry to our liking. Finished it off with Dadar gulung👌👍lovely pandan pancake with shredded coco and sugar

Stellar Malaysian food!!! This is the first place I’m gonna go to as soon as lockdown is over! The staff are lovely and the food is phenomenal!

Cant wait to go back, clean Restaurant and feels fresh ,new. Been to Malaysia hawker centers and food tastes just as good. Food came out ontime once ordered. I would recommend trying Murtabak,roti canal. Just have to be patient when you go here and you will have a good experience. We need more of these authentic food places with real taste in New Zealand.Keep up the good work Uncleman.

Never even knew this place existed. We had my neices 17th birthday dinner there. Seating, atmosphere and service was some of the best I've ever had anywhere in the world. The food was delicious and too much of it. I could not believe the containers were free for taking a doggy bag home. Only thing I could fault was no sugar/caffeine free drinks but their free water had a splash of lemon in it that made it so easy and refreshing to drink as it had been a hot day and it was good to leave room for the delicious food so just as well. I will definately be going back as prices for the large portions so cheap and could not fault the food or cooking at all as so tasty!!

Food quite mediocre. Service is haphazard. For a group of 5, the time from the first to last mains arriving was 25 minutes. Food was warm. I had the seafood laksa. Noodles hadn't been rinsed and none of the ingredients had taken on the flavour of the soup. The flavours were authentic, however, execution leaves much to be desired.

I would highly recommend the pan fried dumplings they are so good and it's definitely worth the price.

I've found my new favourite restaurant! The food is incredible, especially the Hawker rolls. Would happily eat here every day if I could. Highly recommend.

We went to this place for a team lunch out. The team enjoyed the food. Two of the team members waited for their dish for a very long time. Everyone enjoyed Roti tisu

First time today. Food was nice, the tea was very good and drinks. Will visit again. Need more waitress on the floor. The prices was good as well.

Mee Goreng was too salty. The banana fritter batter was non-existent, but the satay kebabs and the overall service were fine. The music was too loud so was hard to have a conversation.

Staff were lovely and really helpful with food suggestions. They have vegetarian options and can sub meat out to make dishes vegetarian. The food was really good. Really good place for families and group outings.

It is hard to find a good fried tofu meal. My stirfry tofu was so delicious cooked beautifully delicious veges and Malaysian flavour. My new favourite place.

Recently opened Uncle Man’s. Love the one in K road. Here is not too bad. CKT was great. Nasi goreng and mee goreng were alright. Martabak could be better. Service was okay.

Had char kueh tiaw, curry laska, vermicelli soup, Maggie goreng and satay. They were alright. Not mind blowing. Can be better. Carefully check your bill upon paying to avoid getting over charged.

Delicious flavours, right amount of spice, well balanced dishes. The roti Canai was fluffy and light. Would eat here again.

Great affordable food! The Beef Rendang was so nice. My partner also left her phone behind and the staff followed us out to the carpark to return it. Thank you so much!
