Excellent food. Great people and service. All tucked away in South Auckland. Shhhh don't tell anyone.

Went to dinner lastnight with hubby and our 5 children. Staff was very accomodating, checked up on us and food came out so quick. Excellent service, the portions were great, hubby ordered the steak and bacon and said it was one of the best steaks he had. Our kids loved their meals from the kids menus. It was very busy and packed but staff kept checking on us and was so nice and said to come back and try the other dishes on the menu as their very delicious. So will go back again.

Came here last Saturday night and the restaurant was packed and super busy but we still got amazing service, food came quickly from the kitchen and was sooo delicious as usual and we even ordered dessert and it came out so fast. The waitress still made time to check on us multiple times, it was the best experience ever. Thank you so much!

We had bruschetta, antipasto, mussels, pizza, spaghetti marinara, fettucini, ravioli, roast pork, and trio seafood. Overall, service was OK, ambience great. However the food was normal only, lacking in freshness and the sweetness from tomatoes and herbs like basil & oregano. Only strong taste was the aged cheese and garlic aioli. You'll be disappointed if you order the bruschetta (somehow the balsamic vinegar didn't bland with ingredients). Volare pizza was great tho. And there's a wide choice of wine selections. Will I go back... Probably if there are other options, I won't be back too soon.

The food, superb. The people, amazing and respectful. The entertainment, well I love dean martin so I'm not complaining. It is a small place though. But that's the only downside.

The food was very good. See photos: Involtini De Pollo, Fettuccine Al Pollo, and desert Tiramisu. The coffee on the other hand left something to be desired. I would definitely go back to try another main or two.

The place is a bit more expensive compared to what I'm used to (external to Auckland) however price aside, the food was great! The taste was very solid The food was well cooked The meals came relatively fast The customer service was amazing ! I loved how they checked on us often and helped us when we had a daughter who needed help with a high chair

Good little Italian spot. We sat upstairs so it was a nice change of scenary. We got the chicken tortellini and ragu beef, both awesome dishes.

Lovely family dinner for our group of 14. Great variety of food enjoyed by all, attentive and timely service. The place was really busy and deservedly so. If I lived nearby it would be a regular stop. And really appreciated the cake being organised as well.

Just ok, nothing special. Unfortunately. I had big expectations. Best dish is the meatballs. Chicken livers were just ok and the pizza was strange. Good taste and lots of incedients bit pizza base was rubbish and the overall result just average. Some mains were expensive.

From the moment you walk in you feel welcome. Service is impeccable with a friendly smile and non intrusive enquiry as to how they can help. The food is excellent and the wine list is impressive. This restaurant is perfect for the family, business or that romantic encounter. Volare may be in the suburbs but that just adds to its appeal. Well done team.

Went there tonight for a birthday dinner. The food was really nice, but Honestly, the service from the staff was sooooo fantastic. The lady servicing us was funny, helpful and efficient. Even if she did get the whole place to sing me happy birthday unexpected. 😅 Thank you! Back next year for sure.

Lovely meal, friendly staff and beautiful atmosphere

Altho the steak I ordered was extremely under cooked and the roast potatoes were a little dry the staff were incredible. The waiting staff had such good customer service skills. The meals on the whole were well presented and there was a variety of dishes to choose from. I would visit Volare again. Perhaps it was a one off that my meal was not to full spec.

Quite pricey and meals were pretty good in terms of variety especially with good vegetarian options. Vege lasagna was tasty, spaghetti marinara was ok not as great as I had anticipated. Garlic bread (pizza size) yum.

We came for a work dinner, and it was just awesome. The food was great, but what was really magnificent was the service. We were served by someone who truly knew how to deliver. Friendly, professional, great banter, and not pretentious, highly recommended restaurant.

Lovely food. #2 for Italian in Auckland I think..service was really quick. However the main dinning room was very loud, lucky we were seated in the outside patio area (nice warm heater) as soon as we ate, we didn't have chance to sit and chat as we were asked to leave as they were busy and wanted the table. So yeah I understand that but at same time that's a first for us who have eaten all over the world.

Thoroughly enjoyed my meal. My choice of a Lasagne and Tiramasu were delicious. The staff were friendly and helpful. What more can you ask. Happy to recommend.

The Volare pizza is very good. The rest like spaghetti, fettucini, trio seafood was only OK. Ingredients weren't fresh. The roast pork was a bit sourish! I think they had used balsamic vinegar in most of their dishes and that ingredient isn't nice. Won't be returning as long as there's alternatives.

Little Italy in the gardens. Tasty delicious and generous with the serving sizes. Risotto and the scollops were top notch.

We booked our twin brothers birthday dinner. The customer service was exceptional, from the phone calls to confirm our booking right to the end. We were greeted and shown our table when we arrived and our waitress came to our ‘beck and call’ right up until we left, she also went over and above her expected duties - we couldn’t thank her enough for an awesome family dinner. The food was exactly what we were expecting if not better, we all tried something different on the menu. It was also great value for the price - the portions were definitely ‘our’ sizes, maybe that’s an Italian thing too, it was great. The whole evenings experience was outstanding for our family, we highly recommend this amazing eating establishment!! Thank you Eddie and all the staff at Valoré!!!

We have just had the most wonderful dinner, thank you so much for the fabulous experience. We were celebrating three birthdays, and given complimentary limoncello at the end. The food was excellent and prepared without delay...the service staff were polite and excellent.. the only suggestion would be to use a natural products to wipe down the tables instead of a bleach like Ajax as this spoils the smell of the food...

My new favourite restaurant!!! Dined here tonight for a table of 10 for my sons 11th birthday. The food was delicious (thanks chef). All our meals from the entree right through to the deserts were fantastic. I'd like to give a special thanks to the waitress 'Preet' for a friendly and attentive service provided, she was friendly with the kids, the adults enjoyed her humor also, she was great. A gem of a place, great atmosphere. Definitely book if you want to dine here as it is extremely popular, the restaurant was fully booked when we arrived. I will absolutely dine here again. Thanks Volare!

Lovely restaurant, but the food isn't exactly something to boast about. And every time I come here with my husband, he gets sick when he gets home. And he never gets sick from food. He's basically the human vacuum, haha. So not sure what's going on there. And for the last couple times I've been here, the chicken tastes like it has been left for quite a while then used. Almost rubbery. Absolutely great the first time I dined here, but since then.. Not impressed. Not sure if they fired a chef or what. And not many selections for non-alcoholic drinks. Though the ladies are absolutely lovely! Only reason why I keep coming back! Definitely wouldn't be my first choice destination for dinner though.

We ordered Fettuccine al Pollo and Calzone. It was our first time there. Place is nice and staff is efficient. Food arrived quickly. Disappointed past wasn't freshly made. It appeared to be rehydrated. Fettuccine source was nice but smoked chicken was a bit dry. Calzone was nice and moist but ham wasn't the best quality and it lacked seasoning. Expirience and food was nice but for the price we'd expect better quality.

Italian chefs at their best, food and wait service is absolutely top notch and the bar staff are prompt in working with the wait staff and that leaves happy customers. 😊

4 of us last night, Saturday, for dinner. Visited Volare as I was scoping out this restaurant for a possible group booking for a staff dinner. Great ambiance, was pretty busy with plenty of customers. The staff were lovely, and not intrusive but there when we needed them. I started with the scallop entree, which came out very quickly after we'd ordered. The flavour was nice and the scallops tender. Followed with Veal Milanese, which came with a side of seasonal vegetables. The veal was tender although overall for my taste the dish was a little bland. The seasonal vegetables consisted of broccoli, cauli, potato, and carrot. The potatoes, which I think were roasted, appeared as if they had been cooked a long time ago and re-heated, and were not that nice, left on my plate. Dessert was tiramisu, for which I had high hopes. Unfortunately the taste, texture and overall experience with this dish was a let down and I would have expected better from this restaurant. Tiramisu is my go to dessert when I see it on a menu, and I've had infinitely better renditions from lesser establishments. Portion sizes were average. My son ordered pizza (Diavola - possibly 8inch? $28.00) , which he said was OK but was disappointed by the small size for the price and a bowl of fries, which were McCains-from-the-freezer-quality, nothing special. Overall for the price point, which is upper rather than lower, I was disappointed and had expected much more based on other reviews. Will probably continue to look for our staff function venue elsewhere

Have been coming here the last 10 years or so. Has been a favourite for many, located in the Manurewa gardens area. Always a well run restaurant, food and selection is great. A must do if you enjoy Italian food.

Only been a few times. Usual great tasting food and service. But the pasta definitely wasn't fresh. Tasted like it was straight from a packet. Both the Pene and Fettuccine. A bit of a shame as definitely don't remember the previous meals like this

Being my local restaurant, I've never given this place a second thought till a friend recommended it. Took friends from West Auckland one evening and since then. .....?? I salivate every time I pass by. Excellent meals, nice Italian wine and five star service, I'd recommend it to any fine diner...... I'll be back. ....Keep it up.

A little underrated gem tucked away in an area we wouldnt come and visit often. We came here almost 2 weeks ago and the food was amazing. We cannot wait to come back and try something else on their menu. It is noisy but in a good atmospheric way. The manager goes the extra mile.

We visited here on a work function. The staff were friendly and welcoming. There was a wide range of food choices and it was a good atmosphere. I got the fish which was cooked well. Some people in my group got pasta which was a mixed review. The tiramisu was a little disappointing as the layers had been made with meringue instead of mascarpone. The eftpos was down when we left and the owner was happy to just send an invoice for us to pay another day.

Good food. Staff lacks service. More interested in talking to eachother than asking if someone would like another drink. Been here twice now and the same each time. 6 waiters but no service. Our mains were rushed and served while we were still eating our entree.

We live very close to Volare and love this option for dinner at walking distance. Friendly staff that ensure you enjoy the dining experience. We have ordered takeout from and dined in at Volare and both experiences were positive. Favourite would have to be the Penè lope! Yum!

Busy and buzzing but rather noisy, we were seated in a smaller room off the main restaurant which was quieter but a little cool. Soon rectified with the switch on of an electric heater. Food good. My choice of pizza Calzone arrived looking like a huge Cornish pastie. Too big for me, took most of it home.

Amazing authentic Italian far from Auckland CBD. If you are in south or east you don’t have to travel to city. The spaghetti was amazing, so was the pizza. Fresh ingredients and good flavour. Will go again.

Took one of our children here for a special treat, and that is what we found, we were well looked after, the food was great, and the service outstanding. The time went quickly, we didn't feel at all rushed and enjoyed our meal. When the waitress found out that we were there because our child had just had a birthday they added a candle to her desert and sang Happy Birthday to her, without any request from us, this just made the night extra special for us :)
