j.Amazing food! Just all round - fish, Indian, roast, burgers (especially), wraps, salads, desert. Have been in MIQ and have tasted everything! Wish I discovered this place under a different circumstance but they got me and my family through waiting for the next amazing meal! Thank everyone there! Having a Lemon Paeroa and fish and chips listening to six60 hit home. East coast wave to all y’all
K.Place of good food with nice environment and one side lake. There are hips of car parking. There entrance are very wheelchair and strollers friendly. They have lots of entrance and entry options. This is the great place for buffet or party or conference with staying in there hotels. Staffs are very friendly and helpful. They just cleaned the tables within seconds. You don’t worry about used plates. All staffs are very responsive. They will give you super first for your services.
C.My wife and I were married at the Waipuna Hotel and we went back today, to celebrate our anniversary(our Wedding here was superb). Our reserved table was lovely and intimate with a great view. The staff made our anniversary special and the service was excellent. Enjoyed our meals and wine list was good as well. This was our first time back in 12 years but we both enjoyed it and will definitely be back
R.1st time here and I guarantee it wont be the last. Food was awsome, catered to the needs of my kids and also they had a magic show on aswell. Born and raised in Wellington and I got to say I wish we had this restaurant in the Capital especially when it has Wellington on it lol. Great staff, great venue, awsome view of the lake and plenty of car parks. See you soon.

Very well presented buffet lunch with a huge variety of different foodstuffs. Great selection of salads, desserts and a cheese board. Prices are very reasonable for a buffet.
Very well stocked bar at the entrance to the restaurant with very friendly and helpful staff that were there today. They were extremely busy today and our party was 40 plus people and all went off without a hitch.
The premises houses a Conference Centre and has a big hall that can be used for different functions. Highly recommended complete venue and restaurant.
S.Best buffet place I have tasted in a while. Nice to know don't have to travel out of your own neighbourhood. All food and drinks are fresh. Small and simple. We have been twice at dinner and at lunch different atomspheres (prefer lunch). It is a bit more for your pocket but we enjoyed it.
L.Great buffet restaurant with an awesome view. They have many food options available and they seem to change the hot dishes every week which is great (I've been twice and on both occasions the hot food dishes were different). The restaurant is child friendly, with a magician and a balloon maker that come around to your table. We just stumbled across this buffet after I googled restaurants around where I stayed. The place is clean, the staff are friendly and the view is awesome. For the price you pay it certainly is worth a visit.
A.What an awesome place. The service was top notch. The food was amazing. The staff were welcoming. Great dinner a lot of choices, the pork and lamb were cooked to perfection. Other buffet menu were also delicious. Wonderful views outside. Will surely visit again in future. I would highly recommend this restaurant well worth the money.
S.Not many good places for buffet/all-you-can-eat left in Auckland but this is certainly no Valentine's! Attentive staff. Great salads. Plenty of fresh seafood including massive prawns and hot smoked salmon. Beef bourguignon the dish of the day. Lovely to get ham on the bone in the middle of the year. Great desserts too.

R.We organised a lunch for 70 guests at Wellingtons restaurant to celebrate our recent nuptials. What can I say,...the venue was just beautiful, the service was excellent and the food was delicious. Our guests mingled at the bar overlooking the bay for an hour while being served drinks and then we moved into the dining area where a delicious buffet meal awaited us. It is a charming venue, without all the pretense. Our guests felt so comfortable and well looked after by staff. We just loved it! Thank you for hosting us.
P.For $33 per head, this all you can eat buffet is hard to beat. Fantastic Chicken Madras Curry and really good dessert buffet. Let down a little by the small seafood selection. We will definitely be back.
M.Beautiful ambienceand well presented table setting. A great variety of food which all tasted spectacular. One star deduction for the bar patrons who interupted out meal when they would pass through the restaraunt with their drink to sit outside.
G.Good buffet selection of tasty food. My brother in law has a mobility issue and the staff were great in helping him up from his chair. Coffee was better than in most buffets I've been to. Altogether a good experience.

The food itself was pretty good, but there was a fairly limited selection. But I would definitely go back.
C.My best friend and I came here last year for breakfast buffet and really enjoyed the environment and food. We were the last ones to leave. we en;joyed the restaurant so much we decided this will be an annual tradition for us. We went there on saturday 21st january 2017 -breakfast buffet...and just want to say the service was wonderful. we again were the last ones there and they could have asked us to leave like they did last year...but they allowed us to finish our mammoth catch up until we were ready to leave. thanks to the staff...excellent staff great food!
M.The whole family absolutely loved it. Have a small family gathering there to celebrate my daughter's 21st Birthday on a Saturday night they had a live band there . Jane and Tony played some great tunes, all-time favorites that anyone can get up and dance to awesome please sit back dine and enjoy. Besides a group of 50+ that was celebrating a 70th birthday that night that decided to have their own formalities/speeches quite loudly in the public restaurant. you can not fault the service and music that night. We had an awesome evening. And Tayla would love to thank Jane and Tony for singing her happy birthday and making her feel real special throughout the whole entire night. 👍
M.Just a number. After going to lunch with a large party I felt like we were just a number, to the staff and a bit of a nuisance. It started as we approached our table at 1pm. We were told we had to hurry as we "only had 45 minutes" to eat, as they were going to start clearing the buffet. Then when one of our party asked to take a slice of cake home, that her son couldn't finish, the staff member informed her in doom-laden tones with wild rolling eyes, that it was not allowed, as the restaurant would be fined $10,000 dollars. Siting the "new" Health and Safety regulations was just wrong. Not legally correct and giving the impression that the staff are using it as an excuse to not be bothered. Lazy staff are not a good look, the restaurant needs better legal counsel, if that's the information they have been given. Consumer CEO Suzanne Chetwin says doggy bags are a custom not a right and it is up to the restaurant to decide but once a person took food away from the eatery it was their problem if the food gave them food poisoning. It's ironic that “Love Your Leftovers” was the campaign theme for Love Food Hate Waste in November to increase awareness of the best methods for storing leftovers.
A.We had my mothers birthday lunch here today together with my sister and myself and our 6 children ages between 8 & 12...
Such a lovely spot - relaxed and so pretty to look over the lagoon...
The restaurant team working were fantastic, very obliging and so friendly... they even gave us a few chips for the table for the kids..
Food was a fabulous selection and the children loved it.... they really had so much to eat and it was no bother at all for the restaurant team regardless of the mountain of plates from our table...
The highlight for our Children was David who was on the bar.. the nicest man, he chatted with our kids and made them feel special with pretend cocktail drinks and lollies... he was amazing! I think David was the kids highlight of the day.. Thank you so much to you all for making our afternoon wonderful!

I.Great place to go for a buffet. Down to earth atmosphere. Food variety is ok for seafood lovers if thats your diet. Family friendly. Friendly staff.
A.Stayed here for 3 nights in an Ambassador Suite. The room was very comfortable,spacious and clean. Reception staff helpful and bar/restaurant staff fantastic. Would definitely return and recommend.
d.My daughter had her wedding there on Saturday. We stayed at the establishment Friday and Saturday and ate in the restaurant. I am in a wheelchair and everything was wonderful. Accomodation great- food great- wedding catering perfect. Highly recommend.

Felt like there wasnt much variety however some of the food were tasty and some werent. I dont think its worth what we pay for. The service was great though. Lovely staff. Just the food I think is over priced.
