D.Had lovely lunch experience here today and I totally recommend this place.
The food comes out pretty fast, the presentation and flavor is spot on. Nice portion and very fresh.
The staffs are very friendly and the environment is cozy and very clean. Will come back next time to try some more.
J.The food here is okay. The portions are really good but the quality is average. I've been here twice. The service is friendly, but slow. I have been here twice, first time I got a burger. Second time was a chicken meal. It's an ok place to eat but I wouldn't go out of my way.

G.Oh my gosh one of the best places to eat 😍! The staff were really friendly and the quality of the food was amazing! I ordered scotch fillet steak with a salad and my friend ordered the same but with fries. Both dishes came out perfect and both steaks were cooked perfectly. The dumplings we ordefed we fantastic and the garlic bread was tasty! We also ordered kumra fries which were to die for! Again lovely food and lovely service!
M.Had a great experience. Great music!!! Went at lunch time and it was not too busy. Was surprised at the quality of the food. Calamari salad was beautiful and tasted great. Not crumbed rings. Burger was nice Angus beef burger with aoili, fresh lettuce and big thick tomato. Could have done with something to five it a bit more taste though. Will go back its a nice relaxed atmosphere and theme.
S.I just loved it 🙂 Had the scallops and the Flintstone savannah steak with pepper sauce. Wow it was just so delicious. One of the best steaks I've had in a very long time. Just amazing and the staff were super nice 🙂

N.Quiet, but it was Tuesday. Didn't like the way we kept getting asked if we wanted food but that's what you have to do when you can't get a proper tavern license in West Auckland due to the dam licensing trusts cartel like monopoly. The monopoly needs to go otherwise no one can run a nice bar in West Auckland.

D.What a unique design, a very chill and open area with king Kong portion food for everyone to enjoy, and of course those little animals around, what's a zoo without animals

A.The food here is crafted so perfectly and to top it off, the taste of their dishes are amazing but also like nothing I've tasted before! This restaurant is one of a kind, and I highly recommend it. The chefs are talented and the owners are probably some of the most friendly and down-to-earth people I have ever met. I enjoyed my time at this restaurant, especially because of it's colourful atmosphere! It really represents the theme well!

L.The place was almost empty on a Saturday night, which we thought was odd but it was a rainy miserable day, so that could explain. We ordered the cheeseburger and fish and chips (the waitress warned is that the fish was John dori instead of snapper as written on the menu). Food took a bit of time to arrive considering the empty room, but everything was good quality. Not amazing, just good quality fish'n chips and burger, the kind you enjoy while eating it but don't really remember. Pricing is OK.
As we left, we saw the waitress bringing the steak dish to the table next to ours, and we kinda regretted our order as the steak looked amazing, and it's definitely what we would get if we came back here!

Colourful dining environment with a rich mix of staff for a rather rich cultural experience. On-site proprietor made us feel welcome and valued.

C.My family and I travelled to New Zealand on holiday and we went for lunch at Zoo Eatery & Lounge for my birthday. It is beautiful inside the restaurant, the service is fantastic and the food is even better. The chips were my favourite part, definitely a must have!
W.We were absolutely, pleasantly surprised about this place. We went here with our teenaged kids. The food was great, sizes were good, and waiter was patient and helpful. We'll visit them again for sure!
S.Spontaneous choice after alternative closed. Four diners. Meal did not disappoint. Steak cooked medium rare as requested served with tasty mushroom sauce, and veges superbly cooked great variety broccoli, cauli, beans, carrot, mushroom and eggplant. Only disappointment - personally I do not like meals served on wooden platters - give me a warm plate any time. Shared plate of zoo's bacon and cheese potato skins proved a tasty bite before mains.
D.Great atmosphere with zoo featured decoration. Steak is well cooked with perfection. T-bone 450G with side and source only for $28 dollars! Really enjoyed the dining there. Definitely will come back again.
S.Dinner for four Monday night, quick to take our order, waitress didnt write anything down & got it spot on. Lovely meals nicely cooked. Would definitely go back again.
P.My husband and i had a wonderful lunch here today. Fast, very friendly service. I can personally recommend the seafood special which was 2 beautiful oieces of fresh battered fish, prawn horns and soft shell crab with fries, exquisite.
A.Really cool eatery that's just opened. I popped in here for lunch and was pleasantly surprised by the menu, decor and value of this place. I had grilled prawns on rice which came with salad. The food was tasty, fresh and well presented. Def would like to come back and try the steak!
C.Decor was fun generous portion sizes and great food steaks looked good and eggplant was best I've ever had quite surprising for a steak place! Only disappointment was service was pretty slow we had a group of 15 and we had to get our own water and drinks and food took over 90 minutes

C.Food was great. It all came out at the same time (we went with a large party) and our server spoke fluent chinese and English. Which was perfect because most of our party were chinese. Great vibe. Loved the decor too.
W.Weird mix between kids diner and pokie joint. A little understaffed too, people kept asking the guy fixing the register if they could get another beer.
But damn, the food is good, and I bet it would be a boppin bar to go to on a Friday night, just not a prime lunch spot.

T.Well this was our first time eating at zoo eatery but it certainly won't be the last time. The food was good; the atmosphere eclectic, the service excellent, the price pleasantly reasonable and the overall experience was positively one where I could say...yes I will come back again.
S.I found value for money, $10 for two Burbon RTD. Place was not busy. But saw few guys on the sports bar side. Guess thats the main thing people go there for. Good effort done to give a different theme to the place but something still felt short of the name theme "zoo eatery", tinny chairs felt cold, no heating arrangement, that's the only thing I will think about before going there in winters. Staff was very pleasing and upsold well. Otherwise clean and tidy place. I think, I will go again.
L.Really nice food. Service needs to improve a little. So when you seat someone...they should be offered a drink, menus, water. We will go again as the food is great and the restaurant well decorated.
R.Decorated beautifully, menu range is ok and prices are good aswell. Its spacy and a good place for a quick bite or coffee. There is a bar and a gaming area aswel for the machines only, no pool tables or dart board.
Service is normally fast and fair
B.I got the $20 sirloin steak and with chips and wine. Steak was excellent, well done but full of flavor and perfect texture. Chips were good, as well as excellent presentation.
m.Haven't got my food yet but I think the place has a good vibe. waiter bought my drinks over , he was cool when I changed my order and my nephew got to work on his colouring and animal voices.

The steak with mushroom and mash potato is awesome but the seafood chowder was a big disappointment as it was 95% veges. So I'd say 3.9 stars.
