This was a great way for a pick me up especially on the first visit, beautiful food with presentation, refreshing drinks and lovely waitresses, as long as you have a fun time with the people you love, your experience will be amazing.

A nice large restaurant and bar with a lot of good options available in food. The ambience is nice and relaxed. The location is easily accessible and ample parking available on the premises and nearby. Staff are nice and helpful. We visited here in an official group gathering and enjoyed it a lot. Afterwards, we again went there and had a nice quiet lunch. Very good food and experience overall. Well recommended.

We were looking for some place opened beyond 8pm on a Sunday evening in the Manukau / Flat bush area and came across this spot. Nice place, not too busy, friendly staff. Food was good. We ordered the lamb pizza and the sesame salad. Caved and had dessert which was well well worth it. Very reasonably priced .

I tried out Woodside in Manukau due to positive feedback from my sister. Upon arrival, the restaurant looked very impressive and we were warmly greeted and seated promptly. The ambiance was warm and inviting and I appreciated seeing large family groups of diverse backgrounds scattered around the restaurant. We ordered salads with kumara fries with the apple crumble for dessert. I was impressed by how efficient the service was with food order and delivery, and it was particularly impressive how readily our beverages refreshed. I enjoyed dinner the dessert was amazing, as well as my soy latte. This is a great location for groups or casual catch ups for drinks or a meal in Manukau because the gastrobar menu is vast and likely to suit all palates.

Stopped in for lunch. Shared the falafel burger, ribs and scotch fillet. My only gripe is that the steak wasn't done how we asked. The falafel wasn't dry (which was great) and the sauce used on the ribs was really good! Fries also very tasty and not soggy. Would recommend. Sitting outside was lovely.

We had our function there on the 20/01/2022. The service Taylor and the team provided yesterday were AMAZING. Words cannot describe how amazing the service,food,venue,drinks were. I never thought of Woodside to be a venue we would be doing functions with UNTIL we had ours yesterday. Safe to say Woodside is now my family's and friends and also work-do's go to venue for absolutely everything. Taylor and the team at woodside went above and beyond any expectations catering to over 60 people bringing our hot food and platters out in such a timely manner. Our drinks were beautifully put togethor and guess what they did this all with a smile and an absolute amazing attitude. So welcoming, so kind and at the same time adhering to any covid restrictions. If I could give a review it would be 10/10 if not more. Thank you Taylor and team you guys were the best venue,food,service I had ever organized and encountered.

Food tasted amazing. I ordered the ribs and the meat just falls right off. So tender and flavorful. The chips had a nice crunch despite being the bed for the ribs. Salad was delicious, too. Place was clean and spacious.

I have been here a few times. First time was for a training at the conference room which was good. We come here for a meal. Main food was delicious, especially the blue cod. Most of us had the apple and pear crumble was too sloppy and that before we even added any custard. The sticky toffee pudding was over done in the microwave. We loved the venue and the staff made us feel very welcome.

Called in on a Sunday, service was great and staff were real friendly. Food and drinks were served promptly, we had the seared beef salad, fish burger and sirloin. Steak was cooked peeeerfectly, we also tried the garlic bread and jalapeño poppers. Price was good for 3 people. Place is excellent with heaps of space both inside and out. Easily come back again.

Easily the friendliest and happiest pub in greater South Auckland. The first thing that greets you is complete authenticity from the wait staff. It is so refreshing to have waitresses genuinely engage you as these days, most pubs are stocked with school levers that will do everything they can to avoid the very people they are paid to serve. They will engage and share a joke. Good stuff. That combined with a fine menu, the plowman's lunch being a highlight for us and to also have a genuine light beer option on tap a huge plus. Kudos to the management, whoever runs front of house knows what they're doing. Beats any of the pubs out east hands down.

We entered, they weren't busy. Two people sitting outside, but other than that no one else there but staff. We were seated in a corner on benches. Staff were reorganizing the seating arrangements in the rest of the restaurant. The table we were seated at was still dirty. Half of our meals were not bad. Mine was alright, I ordered the ribs. Husband got the chicken burger. His chicken burger pattie was so thin, he said there was no sustenance to it at all. I felt bad for him that it wasn't what he expected or what it sounded like it was when we asked the waitress. The ribs weren't bad. Wish they hadn't been French in sauce over the fries. It was a lot of sauce. The ribs were fall off the bone. Pretty tasty sauce as well. Fries were crisp, the ones that hadn't drowned in sauce. Still a bit on the expensive side for lunch. Waitress disappeared for quite some time, we ended up just walking to the front, paying and leaving. Customer service seems to be a fleeting thing.

My second time here, the pork ribs are amazing, the meat literally falls off the bone just how I like it, the food presentation was clean & appealing to the eye, the food is delicious compliments to the chef, waiting time on food was not long at all, the staff were very attentive, the music sets the mood, the customer service overall was great! This is so far my go too place for pork ribs! I will definitely be returning back soon.

We dropped in on the off-chance we could get a seat. They were packed! Always a great sign. They found us a couple of chairs anyway, with courtesy and a welcoming smile. The menu options are varied and interesting. We both had some restraints on our diet but the team catered for those without a second if hesitation. The meals arrived in a relatively brief time considering the number of patrons. Awesome presentation on the plate. Food was delicious!! More than that, it was stupendously scrumptious. Had a great time at Woodside last night. I don't ever write a review but this place is worthy of one. From booking via email and calling to confirm our table for 14 was ok, everything ran smoothly. The service was amazing from the person who seated us, to the waitress who served us to the cashier. The waitress was very accommodating and all of our drinks and food orders were exact! The food was delicious and those who had the steak said it's the best they've had. Ribs and pork belly were so tender. We had asked if they could do a candle on a brownie to wish a family member a happy birthday and they had it come out beautifully presented with a birthday message on it. For last minute organizing we were very grateful. Would highly recommend Woodside and would definitely be dining there again.

Fast pleasant service in a light airy atmosphere. Premises has nice indoor outdoor flow that caters to the working man coming in for an after work ice-cold brew to mums having a quiet hour in between kiddie carpooling, and comfortably accommodate a large formal sit down dinner. Good portion size.

We were so happy to have a call back so I could surprise my dad with a father's day lunch. They have a really good response to the covid 19 requirements, and they have a relaxed environment going on, despite the craziness of today's world. We were greeted by a very nice lady and were seated immediately. Nice relaxed vibe inside, they also have outdoor seatings. They were very busy during our visit which was on a Friday around noon. Wait time for our food wasn't bad. The burger we had was delicious, we just didn't like the fries hence the four stars. They were bland and a bit burnt, but overall great experience.

Woodside is like one of those bar-resto that's well hidden bec. their front is actually behind and behind is front in terms of architectural designs. You'll see what I mean when you go for a visit. Their food was great nonetheless, we had a taste of almost all of their major mains. And I gotta say, their steak was one of a kind experience. I know a usual steak is seasoned with salt and pepper but their flavour profile of sweet onion and mushroom and less of the salt and pepper was what made it unique. This may be a hit or miss for steak lovers. But its definitely something to try. Their pizza and salad choices were great in terms of portion and flavour. Finally, another decent restaurant around Manukau.

I liked the atmosphere of the place and loved the service, all the staff were wonderful, polite and friendly. I had the Woodside fish and chips, the chips were yummy but wasn't a fan of the fish. I don't like vinegar on my chips but the idea of the dippet full of vinegar was a pretty cool idea! Also had the apple and pear crumble, while it was a nice dish I was disappointed it wasn't hot like I was expecting. The salted caramel ice cream was pretty amazing though, recommend that!!!! Over-all, this is a place I plan to come back to as the menu looked and sounded yummy so I'll come back to try some more of the dishes. Keep up the awesome service team, that was a stand out for us tonight! :)

Good range of drinks available and the meals were very well made and given how busy they were arrived in good time. Really enjoyed my visit. My husband took me and my 2 children there for lunch and it was clean and inviting. The service was fantastic really thoughtful and pleasant. The food was amazing. The kids menu had pictures on the back for the kids to do while they waited. It didn't take long and the kids meals came out with the starter. Which was awesome. They checked on us regularly without constantly comming up and asking questions. Highly recommend Woodside.

This is the weirdest thing I've ever written in a review but there you go. Four stars because of this weird nitpicky reason. I went in late Feb of this year and i still think about it to this day. To be fair, the menu did say 'cola' lol Edit: the service was fantastic 👌
