If you want authentic Persian traditional food.. Ziba cafe is the place to go. The menu uses fresh ingredients and is really tasty. Great place for family meals or a certain celebration. The decor is beautiful and a very friendly owner who is willing to alter order to your dietary needs. Plus desert and coffee. All at very reasonable prices.Please support this cafe, you will be surprised.

Best Persian food. Took me back to my Gulf days. Best costumer service the owner of the restaurant was so kind. Hospitality as always like a middle eastern family. He even gave us student discount as we where wearing school uniform.

This place is an experience from start to finish. Beautiful space, incredible food, and the most lovely staff. We had no idea what to expect (or order!) which made it even more fun. The small menu meant it was easy to pick what to have, and that the kitchen were really really really good at making everything on there. Definitely coming back for more.

Went for lunch and was surprised at the huge portions- could have easily been shared. Loved the flavors, and all ingredients were fresh too. Snuck home with a box of baklava as well at the end. Great value for money and will definitely return for dinner some time. Staff was friendly, and wait time was reasonable considering the quality of food served.

I am glad Ziba Cafe restaurant was introduced to me by my Kiwi friend. A Persian restaurant with authentic food. The Food is amazing. I would love to say it is the tastiest Persian kebab in Auckland. You might like to try the ethnic food with Sangak Naan. It would be a unique experience of the traditional Persian Naan bread. The atmosphere is very welcoming, warm and cosy. The service is excellent, I would strongly recommend :)

Taste, Quality, Hospitality, all are Amazing. You Feel like you're in a cafe in Farahzad (Tehran) or Some Traditional Kebab Shops in Isfahan. I love this Cafe and all their Menu. They already know it👍❤

UPDATE: first time ordering Dizi take out — wow, just wow… Wish I could rate Ziba every time we come here. Just when you think it can’t get any better (esp with takeout), the owner and chef outdo themselves. The deserts are to die for as well. 10/10! We drove about 40 mins to get to Ziba Cafe, and I'm so glad we did. The flavors, presentation of the food, quality of the ingredients, service - just wow. Not only is the food divine, the atmosphere and service is second to none. I would recommend this place specially for a date night because of the service, ambiance, and beautiful decor. The owner takes pride in his restaurant and it reflects in every aspect possible. It was a special experience and I can't wait to be back, and will certainly bring friends :)

Delicious Persian food! We tried kebabs (chicken and minced lamb), a Persian stew, pickles, baklava and saffron tea. Everything tasted so delicious and fresh. Very friendly and helpful staff. We'll definitely be back!

So at the time of posting I saw that this place was 4.9 stars. Holy hecker! That's a reason to try it right? Turns out I wasn't wrong. The food here is 2nd to none and Ziba cafe only compares to another highly commended 'Middle Eastern style' restaurant, Pasha. The interior is atmospheric, cosy, and has great flair with this easily being a fantastic date spot and would definitely recommend it. I tried the Ziba cafe special with a Koobideh, Chenjeh, and Joojeh while my partner has the Joojeh. We finished everything on the plate and our only regret was that we didn't have larger stomachs. I definitely found a hidden gem today with some amazing food and I'll definitely be back. With friends. 6/5

What a great place. The owner is very welcoming and love to educate people about the amazing Persian culture and cuisine. The food is simply as you would get it in a typical Iranian restaurant, flavours and presentations are just perfect like for example the dizi which is spectacular. You will be teleported to Iran from Henderson. Oh yes I forgot that they made their own Persian bread...delicious.

I visited here with my boyfriend a while back and the food and service was exceptional. We ordered the Soltani Platter and a doogh yoghurt drink (I loved the taste, but it's not for everyone). We enjoyed friendly conversation with staff and were treated to an Amazing Baklava for dessert! Thank you for the great service. We will definitely be returning!

Had a family lunch in this cozy restaurant. The food was super high quality and tasted great. The restaurant was clean. After visiting quite a few restaurants I can say this was one of the best Persian food restaurant out there in Auckland. They serve a special persian bread on order as well. Will definitely visit this place more. Owner's attention to details got my attention too. He was very friendly and social. The customer service is A+ and I highly recommend this to those who want to experience a true Persian cousine with a true Persian welcoming face. Thank you Arash!

Extremely amazed by the fascinating hospitality and the super delicious meals..... you should try the special meal that's the very end of the menu, they are extraordinary! Honestly been looking to find such a middle eastern spot to dine in in Akl and I cam across this one.... HIGHLY RECOMMENDED, ESPECIALLY THE SKEWER KEBABS! Definitely try the last food on the menu!

One of the best Persian food in Auckland The food is authentic Persian and very nicely presented, the staff are friendly and helpful in explaining the menu. Highly recommend,the cost is low for the quality and portion of the food . Enjoyed every bite. The ziba Special was the best. Couldn’t recommend enough . Authentic Persian taste finally in Henderson! So happy so close to home. Their extra shot coffee is also fantastic. Beautiful interior decor as well, thanks for the wonderful service too!

One of the best Persian food restaurants in Auckland. The food quality is very high and prepared with lots of care. The host Arash and the chef Hasan are very friendly. They looked after us and another family with 2 toddlers very nicely. Highly recommend their Cafe Special platter.

Lovely food with great interior. We did want the stew dish but they were all out so we ordered the dish with the rice and was instead given the one with bread. We also ordered small coffees and were given medium coffees which was obviously more expencive. Overall it was a decent experience.

My husband and I visited this place for the first time today and wish we came earlier . We have been to many Irani restaurants and this is truly a fantastic one - from the customer service to the quality of the food . Another amazing thing to note is that the price was very good - considering the deliciously cooked meal . We genuinely recommend coming to this place . You won't regret it . We are already planning our next visit with our family, if not, by ourselves for sure .

Probably one of the best Kobideh (minced kebab) we had in NZ. Dizi was also great, with fresh Sangak bread. Totally recommend it. The atmosphere is nice, but could have been slightly more modern/cleaner.

A nice and cozy persian Restaurant Chill out with persian music and enjoy best persian traditional dishes. You can get fresh and hot Sangak bread. Easy access from Henderson train station (5 min walk) I enjoyed my time and had a Dizi dish which was great. Following by black tea and sweet.

Love this new local Persian cafe and bakery. If you want to try something new get their kebabs or try the Dezi, a real must in winter. My only gripe is that I wish they had a vegetarian option like Kashk e bademjoon - so only gets 4 stars because of that. Otherwise amazing service friendly staff, great decor and amazing food.
