P.We were charging our car and needed some dinner, this restaurant was just what we needed. The food was superb, very nicely presented with great flavors.The staff were friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. Highly recommended.

S.Awesome Food and Atmosphere, ........ only let down by incompetent wait staff, who seemingly were just waiting for us to leave, and not at all interested in serving us more drinks or coffee. ...... (as per 2 previous visits to Casafuego nobody came close enough to our table to get their attention)
Also the 3 course Valentines special menu was served in a bit of a rush, with barely time to swallow between courses, we were all done and dusted in less than an hour and left twiddling our thumbs with empty plates and empty glasses for a full 15mins before finally giving up and leaving.
N.Amazing food & amazing service, has become the new fave for quite a few locals. Taco Tuesday was ideal for lunch, plenty of space with quick service. We got a couple of tacos each with guac to start and churros to finish, biggest problem was trying to choose the fave taco! So great to see in clutha, love the fire station character coming through.

A.Never fails to satisfy. Great food, the steak is cooked to perfection. Highly recommend if you're looking for some Mexican spice. Entry is Nacho's with Guacamole 😋😋
R.Really enjoyed my visit to Casafuego. Made to feel very welcome as soon as I walked in and although it was very busy I was never waiting for service. The food was excellent and generous portion sizes. The ribs are certainly worth a try. Could expand the beer selection a bit more.
And have been twice since - all very good. Terrific service even when very busy. Food is excellent.

B.A surprise to find a Mexican restaurant in Balclutha, which was a refreshing break from standard pub fair. A good variety of food on offer and the service was helpful and friendly.
H.Really warm and welcoming atmosphere. Beautifully decorated seating area and a lovely bar. The cocktails menu is dreamy - I had a Dragonfly cocktail and it was amazing! The food is awesome, and isn't overly spicy, which is really nice. 10/10 from me!

D.We rocked up at 20:30 expecting to be offer take away, or that the kitchen is closed. But the friendly staff seated us, served us and accommodated us without question. Great food, friendly service and reasonable prices. Oh, and such an awesome atmosphere in the old building. You guys got my vote!

N.We stopped here due to passing through town from invercargil to dunedin and I'm very glad we did. The waiter was very friendly and helpful, the music was great but the food... The food was exceptional! I had the loaded nachos and I can safely say they were the best nachos I've ever had!

C.Great little place to eat in Balclutha. Tidy with a great atmosphere. They offer what I'd call "Mexican pub food", which is good portions, and more of a toned down Mexican food. While not as authentic as other Mexican eateries, its still great food, and a place I'd happily dine at again.
S.Popped in after Level 2 made it difficult to be accommodated in Kaka Point for dinner. Feels like we won! The food and service was fantastic. Would definitely go again and recommend to anyone. A real gem.

S.What a lovley place really liked the decor. This was the first time we have been there since it changed hands. They were really busy with a large group booked in but the waitress seated us and got our order quickly and efficiently she really knows what she's doing. The meal was yummy and my steak was cooked to perfection. Would recommend it to any body and we'll definitely go there again. Well done Casafoegos.👍

j.I had the jalapeno poppers and they had a good kick to them which was what I wanted . quite expensive thou. would have been cool to try a few other things like a taco but you had to order a minimum amount of each thing . great setup inside with cool Mexican and old fire station memorabilia. staff couldve made more effort to sell the menu .. ie tell me the specials . recommend something etc.

D.Riding through Balclutha on a scorching hot summer's day we stopped at this attractive looking building. So many drinks on the menu. Lots of cocktails and the like. If you're into hazys of newer ales you might be disappointed though. The staff were really friendly and it was a nice atmosphere. I would recommend.
