P.Good place to stop on the way to Dunedin.
Clean and tidy popular with the locals and truck drivers.
Range of cabinet food ok, but not as much as they use to have possibly due to Covid changes.
F.Great little stop when you’re on the bus or coming through. Best cup of tea in Southland, real leaves, utterly delicious flavours. Tea like it used to be, like it should be ❤️ Nice clean loos 😊
C.Called in yesterday for brunch. Really, really reasonable prices for the size of the food they have. Had a massive savoury scone - it actually filled my entire plate!
M.Nice stopover for a rest and meal during a long travel. Good selection of cold and hot drinks. Clean restrooms. Cozy place to have a sit and relax before going back on the road.
Glad this was a stopover for IntercityBus to Invercargill.

On street parking available. As well as there’s a small car park adjoining to the cafe. Cost of food is reasonable and the staff is friendly.

A.Friendly service, always a big plus for me. Delicious blue cod, and more chips than I could eat - brought the leftovers home for tea. Oat milk available, another big plus.
Decor is plain, not pretentious, and perfectly comfortable.

D.Passing through Balclutha was recommended to go there. The food looked fabulous very fresh. Sandwiches bagels etc made daily. Highly recommend their baking had afghan and yummy passionfruit slice. Coffee great also. Wish we lived closer as we would be regulars.

D.Ok so... stopped here on a Sunday Morning due to lack of options... seriously, almost no other places open in Balclutha. Was pleasantly surprised. Coffee was good. Staff were friendly. Place was tidy. Food was so much better than we expected. I sound super snobbish, I know. I would not have stopped any other day but I'm sold. We'll be back.

L.Best coffee we’ve had since Wellington. A good selection of food and a few vegetarian things to suit our non meat eater. Opens at 7 for that early pep-up. The big guys were eating big breakfasts and they looked enormous.
R.A bus stop cafe, May be more staffing could help with the congestion of customers. Create more service space as well would help.
M.Kids loved their hotdogs. Chips were yum as always. Chicken burgers were ok better last time we went. Always clean and tidy each time we stop here!
S.We eat here very often, Sit down meals are fantastic, Gluten free available on request. Great for dine in or take away a real hit with our family
