My favourite place to have Chinese, Thai food. My favourite is green curry and Angry dish. Lunch menu is bit cheaper than dinner. Staff is very friendly. Addition to the staffing, they have a robot that delivers the food. Toilet facilities are clean and the restaurant is also clean. I have been here few times and I have enjoyed my meals. Ambience can be challenging. We would hear other diners conversation...lol. But all good. There is lot of parking on the side of the Restaurant and even along the road. Reservations can help you secure a place but we went without any reservations. During Covid time, vaccine pass was required. They were doing their best to ensure their diners are safe. The also have a dessert and wine menu. You will definitely enjoy Bamboo Garden.

Very nice staffs hosting the very well decorated restaurant supplying Chinese, Korean and Japanese cuisines. Dishes are beautiful and delicious. Further more, there is a very cute robot to help deliver food, attracting everyone's attention and making the dining experience full of fun.

Reliably good and well presented food from an extensive Asian focussed menu. Comfortable ambience. Interesting to see a robotic assistant for the carrying of large table orders.

We enjoyed a great lunch, there were 8 at our table so we had the table banquet for only $23 a head. 2 starters and 7 mains plus a dessert all shared from large bowls. 2 of us chose to take a takeaway home with us as well so we really must of enjoyed our meal.

The best Chinese restaurant in Blenheim. I love the food here. The staff are amazing, specially John and Amy who looks after me well in every visit. The ambience just right, feels pleasant and relaxing. My personal favourites I would recommend to try for lunch are Cantonese Duck, Steamed Fish, Beef Ho Fan and Claypot Ginger Chicken and Hainan Ginger Chicken.

First time dining at Bamboo Garden, great food, we both enjoyed our meals and will definitely return. A vast selection of meals available on the menu. We were extremely impressed by the excellent quality of customer service - absolutely first rate. A truly enjoyable experience. Thank you. Highly recommend, very relaxing.

Plenty of seating, the service is prompt and there's an extensive menu of Asian cuisine from various countries. If you're after a come one, come all banquet style Asian restaurant in Blenheim, this is the place.

Was pleased to be able to have a smaller portion of my meal. Was served our meals by a robot. A lot of fun. All covid protocols observed.

Great food, cool atmosphere, nifty robot waiter. Try not to get caught up in someone's birthday, they tend to play "Happy Birthday" over the stereo for everyone to hear.

The portion waa real generous. The braised pork was delicious. Wasn't too keen on the mapo tofu. However they tried to fix the problem once mention about it. It could be the quality of the ingredient they were using. Other than that. Its allgood.

Excellent service. Quickly prepared Chicken Pad Thai and excellent taste, lots of chicken and a good sprinkle of crushed peanuts! Will go back again! Large menu to choose from

Menu so huge, but vegan options are limited. They are there though. Good service and food though, but limited options do not call for a return.

Delicious chicken fried rice with lots of veges including onion. Perhaps the best I've had. Chicken with veges wasn't so good but still perfectly fine. Egg foo yung also very nice. Rice was a bit dry but only once out of 3-4 times.

Recommend this restaurant as we had take aways and now my fav Chinese . Well done guys.

Bamboo Garden was exciting, with Bam Bam the robot delivering food. The food was fantastic and the staff were friendly. I had a great time with my family at Bamboo Gardens.

The restaurant was very clean, atmosphere was great and staff took your order quickly and you were not waiting long for your food. Would recommend.

This place used to be fantastic but over the past year has been noticeably lacking in service. Food is generally pretty good but poor quality wait staff are where things come unstuck. Wrong orders taken, drinks orders forgotten and just general inattentiveness. With all the othe great Asian food restaurants in town I will not be choosing to return to Bamboo Garden

Made an order for date night had delivered by bamboo garden website took hour from time of ordering before 5pm and by time of arrival it was all cold so not very enjoyable at all. Such a shame as ordered because our time we dinned in last month was very good

Dined for dinner on a busy Saturday night. Confusion about getting a table initially but was quickly sorted by a manager. The manager is friendly and accommodating. Food was of excellent quality and of a really good size.The manger came half way through dinner to make sure everything was to our liking and see if we needed anything extra ,a very nice touch. A very pleasant experience thanks (Suraj).

Had a truly amazing dinner! The food was fresh and so yummy, staff was a tad slow but they where training x2 people so it can be excused. Wasn't sure what the place would be like but so glad we went. Loved the interior design. Unfortunately we live in Christchurch otherwise we would go all the time.

Popular and busy place most weekends. Good for large groups through to couples. Food good. Lots of choice. If there's a Birthday let them know and they'll bring out an ice cream sundae with candle to "Happy Birthday". BYO available which is popular.

This place used to be 5 stars for me. I dont know what has happened to the place within the last couple of years. My favourite was red curry but it's not as flavourful as it used to be. The crunchy chicken isnt crunchy at all, by the time I get it home it's gone all soggy and the batter just falls off, and the batter makes me feel sick. Although I must say I still come here for food cause the staff are awesome and friendly. I tried a new meal, the hokkien noodles with chicken which had good flavour and is now my new favourite dish.

Sadly this review isn't as positive as my last one. Service has really dropped, as the wait staff cannot understand our requests. I suggest leaving the English spoken staff to take orders from a group of 16 customers, as service was very slow. Food was very disappointing. Requested a Chinese blue cod meal which was said to include fried vegetables, but instead arrived as a fish in broth with nothing else to eat. Had to order a side of fried rice after the fish had arrived to ensure I had enough food. No help from wait staff.

Excellent food and service on what was a very busy evening. A few staff were in training but they handled the situation very well indeed too, and were a credit to the restaurant. Look forward to returning next time I'm across from Nelson.

Bang average! I used to love this place but I got lots and lots of chilli chicken an there was just no spice/flavour. I hope they fix this as there is not much choice in blenheim.

Local secret. Bamboo garden has great food at great price. We went with the set menu with 10 dishes to share between 7 - 8 people which worked out to be around $35.00 each. Worth it!

Good solid Asian food. Chinese, Japanese, Thai options along with Yum cha (DimSum) at lunch times. Takeout is fast and hot. Very nice, clean restaurant and decent prices for good quality food.

Came here with collegues for a group dinner, 17 of us. Very attentive and accommodating. Also, im Gluten free/GF (sensitivity), and they served me my own mini version of all the foods served family style to everyone else. Although... there was no substitutefor the Shanghai Noodles, which looked amazing. Very much recommended.

Popped in for lunch. Shared some dim sum then I had the Angry Prawns, hot spicy and hints of lemongrass, it was a well balanced dish.
