We came here on a really busy night. The place was pumping. All the tables were full and there was lots of take-out heading out the door. The staff were working hard to keep up. We ordered, money bags and curry puffs for starters and Cashew Chicken, and Penang for mains. The starters came out really quickly. The puff was light and delicious. The money bags were next level - lots of Thai places just give you mass produced money bags but at Eat Thai it was home made and amazing. Then we had the long wait - I think it was like an hour between entree and main. But boy oh boy was it worth the wait! Seriously good. It’s hard to explain it was that good. I would def recommend.

Delicious Thai food. Our meals were excellent, we always request spicy Hot or extra Hot. The degree of spice was just as we had asked for. Reasonable price and good size meals. The staff were great, very friendly. Only downside was the wine corkage at $15 a bottle. Definitely returning to this place.

Wow, such a lovely find in downtown Blenheim. Wait staff were friendly and knew the menu well. Food was quick and incredibly tasty. I had mine Thai medium hot #3... It was just a little bit too hot but delicious none the less.

I love this restaurant. The food tasted so fresh. We had Thai fish cakes to start and then shared Ginger Beef & Chicken Cashew. Lovely staff and great service. We waited a bit for the food but only because it was so busy, always a good testament to a great reputation for quality ❤️❤️❤️

We dined at Eat Thai this evening, and I felt compelled to write my first ever review after we experienced incredible service whilst dining early with our 1 year old daughter. Happily accommodated her with high chair, and kids cutlery etc. Then took her off to play with some kids toys beside the counter to enable us to finish dinner in some peace and quiet. Not only was their service top notch, their green curry was delicious. Would certainly dine again next time we are passing through Blenheim. Thanks so much

Lovely lady there that takes bookings etc. Wonderfully presented food. Only downfall was that I asked for no spice at all and there were chilli flakes from the sweet chilli sauce added so, my mouth was burning but, I was able to get through the meal thankfully and there was still some enjoyment from eating the meal just not as much since it had chilli flakes in it (Cashews with chicken and rice with veges for $16). I was hungry and the meal was filling.

Really enjoyed dining at Eat Thai! Tasty and authentic Thai dishes, great space and attention. The only downside is the limited wine list, but they allow clients to bring their own wine and the corkage fee is absolutely fine. Lovely!

What an absolute delight. Beautiful flavours and spice levels were spot on. Highly recommend the green curry and if you are feeling adventurous, please do try the Thai desserts! The Thai sticky rice was deliciously authentic or if you aren't up for an adventure, try the mud cake. It smelled absolutely tantalising and had rich deep chocolatey notes (I would post more photos but the food was so delicious that we couldn't hold back!). I never thought I would be able to experience such beautiful flavours outside of Thailand in the comfort of our backyard. I will be coming back here to eat again the next time I visit Blenheim.

Good location of the restaurant with a car park nearby, excellent service, fresh enticing flavours. Very busy because everything is impeccable, I advise to booking by phone to be sure when you arrive will have a table. Wheelchair people are welcome too. Toilet available.

Where the hell is their alpha squid? Overall a VERY excellent Thai restaurant in Blenheim. They had fantastic alpha squid (possibly the best in New Zealand) but sadly this seems to be no longer on their menu which is a shame.

Delicious! My partner and I started with Satay chicken for an entree. The sauce was rich and nutty, we loved it. For the mains I ordered the Thai salad with pork and rice. The presentation was great and it tasted amazing! My partner ordered the fried rice and it was cooked to perfection. Seasoning and flavor was very good too. We also ordered the mud-cake and ice cream sundae for dessert. When they were brought out by staff we dived in with our spoons and to no surprise the two dishes were flawless. Staff were also very friendly and chatty with us.We will definitely be back again!!

An extensive refreshment list is also available. Portions tend to be on the smaller side & are moderately priced. Alcohol is similarly moderately to high priced. Deep fried ice cream w rye bread was delicious, hubby enjoyed he’s noodle dish bi y pad Thai was over sauced and dishes felt like they were just reheated. In less than 5mins, we had our mains served steaming hot. They were great w having certain things on the side and not having some of the ingredients on the plate but waiting for them to take our dessert order while chatting and catching up was a down fall.

By far the best Thai in Blenheim! Do yourself a favour and go here, you won’t regret it! The chicken had Thai is really good and the Mee Goreng is also awesome. A great wee restaurant with a nice atmosphere. The ladies there are lovely (as most Thai people are) and they go out of the way to make it a good experience. Takeaway is also a good option if you don’t have time to sit in and it is extremely quick when they aren’t busy! 10/10

This is the BEST restaurant in the top of the South Island. The food is awesome, portions are good, service is great, and the atmosphere is nice. Also one of the few places that caters to vegans and spice lovers - their Thai Hot level is quite spicy but still extremely flavorful. We dine here or get takeaways at least once a week, and everyone we bring here or recommend to try is pleased. If I could give it 10 stars I would.

Der Service war sehr freundlich und alles kam zügig und liebevoll dekoriert auf den Tisch. Das Preis/Leistung Verhältnis stimmt und man kann hier mit Karte zahlen. Solltet ihr in Blenheim vorbeikommen ist das Eat Thai einen Besuch wert.
