From the time we got out of the car we where owe. The property, decor, staff, food and wine where just the best. My wife and I went to Harvest for my 40th birthday and I was very well looked after, they are very acommidating with a range of dietary requirements.

From the moment I turned into the entrance carved out of a hedge to the walk back to my car after paying for my lunch, it was a phenomenal afternoon that has etched a permanent spot in my top dining experiences of New Zealand.

This was an amazing experience! The food and service were faultless and meeting the chef at the end was awesome. This is probably the best food and wine we have had in a very long time. We will definitely be back as soon as we can and highly recommend Harvest!

This was the most lovely experience. We were welcomed at the door and shown to a cosy beautifully decorated dining room. This was a special experience for my mother as she remembered the house from when it was a convent. We had only booked for dessert and we had the vegan triffle which was light and not too sweet, and the panna cotta with rhubarb and ginger. Both were exquisitely presented and very morish. We had cocktails (made with local Roots gin 😍), wine and fabulous coffee. The only hiccup was that service was very attentive until we had our desserts delivered, after this point we struggled to get the attention of the staff to order coffees and ask for the bill. Will head back in summer and will have a full meal, hopefully the staff will be a bit more attentive.

I can confidently say that this was the best lunch I ever had in my life! Yes, it's expensive, but, man, it's so worth it!! Service is top notch, and the dishes are exquisite. We were really impressed, and will definitely be back to either celebrate the next special occasion, or if we just want to spoil ourselves. What a hidden little gem!

Really enjoyed our dinner here. We came on a Saturday night in Winter and we were the first ones at the restaurant. I opted for an aperol spritz as they were advertising that they serve on weekends but unfortunately it was made with flat soda water. Luckily when I mentioned it to the staff they made a new one to replace it, no troubles. The oysters were freshly shucked and divine. The group I was with chose either the pork or beef rump cup as their main. Both were tasty but the general consensus on the beef was that it felt like it would have benefited from a jus or sauce to go along with it. Looking forward to coming back here in the future to enjoy the Orangery that is being built.

Absolutely spectacular restaurant in Blenheim. Everything about this place is brilliant. Harvest is the perfect name for this godsend for foodies. Acclaimed chef Toby Stuart combines is culinary genius with the best the freshest local ingredients have to offer. Prices are too reasonable and portions too generous but fine dining is the right word. This place is world class and would be twice the price in any other part of the world. We will be back, probably every week!

Harvest restaurant new changes in the menu and the restaurant are great. The new outdoor area is incredible for sunny long lunch and the wine list has a lot of amazing wines from NZ and the world. Delicious food and beautiful decoration :)

Pay a visit before they realise they can charge more for their delicious food. Much of the menu is cooked over charcoal and the flavour really enhances the taste experience. The matching wines from their own wine was spot on, especially the Malbec.

On a delightful autumn day I shared lunch with a friend at Harvest out on the recently constructed deck. We enjoyed their special 2 course lunch while absorbing the autumn colours in the stunning grounds. The food was excellent, taking advantage of local and seasonal ingredients cooked and presented extremely well. Service was excellent the entrées were great and then it all fell apart. My main was served up lukewarm, taken back to the kitchen and heated by microwave ( not good). The steak was very average ( tough). My partners ordered Butter Fish, should have been the Hero of the dish, also was a little over seasoned. Also i would suggest to management they spend time with all their paying customers, not a special few .

Had dinner here while staying in Blenheim, It’s a short drive out of town but close enough it’s not a hassle. The food was delicious and the service was outstanding, the perfect balance between being attentive but not being interrupted every few minutes.

First impression is the beautiful entrance, autumn coloured trees down a driveway that opens up to the stunning two story villa, setting the scene for whats to come. From the first plate on the table to the end, the food was quite simply spectacular, and elegantly done. Cloudy Bay Clams as they should be, local produce, Butter Fish was a crowd pleaser, and the soufflé a show stopper. Although our friend declared her nectarine dessert the winner. All topped off with a serving team who looked after us brilliantly, and Executive Chef, Toby, coming out for a chat (and helping clear plates along the way!). It's difficult to know where to start with the dining experience I have had here. This past Friday was my first time at Harvest Restaurant I enjoyed not only a delicious meal, but of a culmination of experiences throughout the night that made for an unforgettable evening. The food was fantastic and Marlborough on a plate and the uniqueness of the special charcoal oven used in the kitchen is reflected in the food and left us craving more. Toby Stuart is a master of his craft and the standard of his food has certainly raised the bar for the region. The serving staff were lovely and polite and nothing was ever too much trouble throughout the night. The setting is absolutely worth coming for alone, it really is a special spot. Overall we had a fantastic evening here and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone looking to enjoy a good quality, reasonably priced, local lunch/dinner. Thanks Guys 11/10 James&Mieke

We have been to Harvest a few times now, each time we have been made to feel so welcome by staff and Chef Toby. We have never been disappointed. The location and gardens without exception are just stunning. Chef Toby is so passionate, not just in the food he presents but ensuring produce is of the highest quality trying where possible to source locally. Much of the food is cooked in a very large and impressive Ferrari of ovens called a Mibrasa charcoal oven. Those who are interested are welcomed into the kitchen and are able to learn how this exclusive cooking is done. Harvest, a diamond experience.

The atmosphere and decor is stunning. We were sat by the kitchen and it was a bit loud but not to the point of being disruptive. The service was good but not extraordinary. The food was good, not deeply memorable or innovative. Albeit, I came expecting to be impressed but ... I wasn't. Given the care in creating the atheistic, I expected the plating to mirror the exquisite surroundings. Instead the opportunity to enhance the food through presentation, was completely missed. The meals arrived much like a plate one may make at home. Not an entirely unappetizing display but not innovative or artful. Also disappointing that their menu listed they had a scotch which wasn't actually available. If you want to be regarded as high end, keeping your inventory in stock is critical. Overall it was a nice experience but didn't live up to the expectations.

Wow what a fantastic experience We visited Harvest restaurant last month, were not impressed and wrote a review on Tripadvisor stating why. We were greatly impressed to the owner’s response to our review. I received a call at 10am the following morning from the General Manager following his review of my comments. He was full of apologies for the poor experience we received and had uncovered fundamental problems with the front of house system, which he informed me is being addressed. He requested that we visit again to get the real experience they offer. So, we did. Our experience this time was completely different and stunning: We ordered the olives and the Kingfish for starter and when they arrived, they were accompanied by a complimentary starter of mussels (they were unsatisfactory last time). This time they were absolutely gorgeous as was the kingfish. Main course for both of us was the steak which was cooked to perfection and very tasty. For dessert we both chose the strawberry and rhubarb souffle. Wow, I am not a desert person but have to say it was stunning. In summary a wonderful experience of location, venue, food and service from a lovely friendly team of staff. We will be visiting again soon. We run a wine tour business and I am often asked by my guests where they should go for an evening meal. I will definitely be recommending Harvest restaurant to my guests. Harvest restaurant and Marlborough Lodge hotel: The building is gorgeous and full of character. Full of great art, elegant spaces, and outstanding service. The newly reopened Harvest offers a great selection of dishes that will appeal to everyone. During our stay at the hotel, we tasted a selection of starters. Homemade sourdough, charcoal roasted mussels, cured kingfish, signature potatoes and charred cos lettuce. They were all exquisite. One of the standout main dishes for us was the grass-fed beef rump steak. Served with a delicious bowl of makikihi fries - must try!!! And wait, there’s more...the strawberry soufflé! It was light, yet, full of flavour, a perfect way to finish our meal on a memorable note. Chef Toby Stuart and his team are very welcoming and engaging, which elevated our whole dining experience. The hotel has also started producing their own wines. We highly recommend trying their Rosé and Malbec. The overall experience is absolutely incredible! The food is delicious and the atmosphere is brilliant. This is hands down our favourite spot within Marlborough region and we can’t wait to go back!

As a lover of food - this restaurant is the best in Blenheim!!! Service and food options, plus the history of the leading chef (Michellen background) is absolutely amazing. The souffle is famous with the locals. High quality ingredients, utilising their own garden for the veggies and herbs. A must do.
