Truly lovely location to enjoy a good meal. The staff and service was fantastic. My only issue was really with some of the dishes. They weren’t really what was described on the menu, and felt like each dish was made to look like a piece of art, rather than a decent meal. That may appeal to others though. Would definitely revisit for the right occasion :)

We had an absolutely wonderful experience. The food was INCREDIBLE. My friend who thought he'd be unimpressed with the "small portions of fancy food" was thoroughly convinced and full at the end of our meal. The staff were so friendly and we had a good laugh with them. They went above and beyond when they found out it was my friend's birthday. This was the best dining experience I've had in such a long time!

Absolutely blew my mind. Exceptional service, food was beautifully presented. Staff were friendly and helpful. The activities were so much fun. Highly recommend.

We love Bracu and have been coming for years. Had a lovely lunch the other day - food is excellent although the portion sizes are on the small side. Fantastic Maître d - knowledgeable and friendly.' My only gripe was having to pour my own wine. I don't expect to have to do that in a restaurant of this calibre - if my glass is empty make sure it's full again. Despite that we will be back. FYI - the 'Miso eggplant' was amazing. Try it.

Today myself & newly wedded husband dined in for lunch at the Bracu Restaurant. Let me just say that the chef has thoroughly thought indepth for everyone's pallet, taste buds & the serving sizes were accurate for each course. Luxury till the very end. Service was excellent & I highly recommend you dine here.

Lovely experience here today. The service was impeccable and the food fantastic. The fish of the day was a visual feast and the desserts were very very yum. Thank you.

Scratching my head with this one, bit confuse with there meals that came out.. lovely wine collections that came out with each dish. Front of house staff need more training to be a polish team. Will come back to taste a different menu.

Exceptionally great service with absolutely delicious food and wonderful cocktails. This is fine dining at it's best. Bracu is an absolute gem. I also highly recommend the Garlic infused Olive oil.

Always great. No napkins at that time for some reason which was a bit odd but other than that, a great afternoon shooting clays, great food, wine and company.

We had the set menu, originally supposed to be eight of us so that was the only option we were able to have. There ended up only being five of us but we still needed to eat the set menu, not sure the reasoning behind that. The food was delicious, I had the melon and gazpacho salad to start. Would have been nice to have been offered a spoon to finish up the gazpacho but by the time we managed to catch a waitress we were ready to move on. I had the cauliflower florets for main and cant fault it. Same with the desert, Death by Chocolate, delicious! I was very happy with my options but my friends were a little underwhelmed with their entrees and the cheese for dessert was two pieces of cheese? The setting was beautiful and I would recommend it, but not every dish is as great as the next.

Special event organised by the Italian Chamber of Commerce, in conjunction with Beretta. A great shooting experience. Delicious salad and very tasty pannacota.

Beautiful surroundings- feels like you are so far away from Auckland but it is only a stone throw away. We had the 5 course degustation menu and we could find no fault for a fine dining experience. Friendly staff, great olives and oils, on par food, fine dining environment. What do you need more?

Just love their hot chocolate that tastes like roses~ The food was very delicious too, venison carpaccio was so nice, lamb was cook perfectly, duck was so tender, and the olives was grown onsite, so fresh~ Would definitely come back again even though their location was a little far from town.

Bracu is an amazing extension of the Simunovich Olive Estate, with beautiful scenery this was a wonderful weekend experience of food and wine. Worth the trek south of Auckland - only improvement would be the service as it was a bit lacking once it got busier.

Lovely surroundings, beautifully cooked food, top notch service. If you're looking for the perfect place for any celebration, this is it. We had the 5 course degustation and every plate was well executed, finely balanced and thoroughly divine to eat. Highly recommend.

Amazing food and service in such an idealistic olive estate! Best lunch experience I've ever had!! I would recommend everyone and anyone who enjoys food to come check these guys out, something different to just going to the CBD or Ponsonby ;)

Got married here last year, celebrated our one year anniversary with their degustation. Delicious.

Nice quiet restaurant inside an olive plantation about 7km from Bombay exit south highway to Hamilton. Staff are friendly and informative. Menu is under review and a new one with be coming out soon. It's closed on ANZAC day. Fire place and has about 20 table and some out side if you like to watch the peacefulness of an olive plantation. Wild pukeko roam freely in its ground. This restaurant has been winning awards since 2014. They have displays selling olive health products like different type of infused extra virgin olive oil e.g. garlic, lemon, truffle etc. Promengranate lotion has a delicate smell and lotion was soft and smooth. There is a rose spray toner which is light and fragrant. There are good combination packages and reasonable baby package as gifts. Enjoy your meal and purchases.

Food was Devine and with free flowing drinks, it was a night to remember. Class act on the chef who work to construct the plate, housing the finest in local ingredients, fresh herbs and vegetables, along with tastes to fully tickle the taste buds. What’s great is the consistency and how they constantly surprise with the menu changes 🙌🏾

We just had our wedding at Bracu on the weekend gone. The guests aboslutely loved their Canopes and three course meal. The atmosphere is aesome and they are very professional with wedding planning. Small issue with the sound system at Island where ceremony took place. It was the same single speaker they've had five years ago when I was helping out my friends wedding there. It would be great if they have slightly better sound system there, otherwise highly recommended as a wedding venue!

OMG. If the Ladyfolk and I could live like this... Beautiful 5 course wine matched degastastion meal for us, lovely walk around the picturesque olive garden, helpful, polite and attentive staff. Was a night to remember and definitely to be repeated.

Went for Father's Day degustation menu. Everything was perfection. Food tasted incredible, service was impeccable. The weather was even perfect. The only issue we had which was rather amusing in hindsight, was when we were leaving there was a woman screeching when she claimed to find a hair in her food. I felt so sorry for the staff as I've never witnessed such feral behaviour in a fine dining establishment before.

Had dinner with friends to celebrate a special occasion. We had a set menu and matching wines and everything was incredible. Lovely setting, perfect food and great service. Make sure you arrange your return transport in advance - its a bit hard to get an uber/taxi.

Would have been even better if the servings were abit bigger though. Their olive oil made at the estate was so yum and had a nice fruity taste. Went for a late lunch. Food was delicious, but still pricier than its worth. Service was lovely to start with, but staff became less attentive as the afternoon progressed and the restaurant became quiet: - I waited around a very long time, standing, when no one was floating, nor behind the desk, to request more food. - I waited over an hour for table service before getting up to source more water for our table. - The bathroom's needs were not anticipated either - towels were used up, and no other option to dry hands available (except toilet paper!). Setting was lovely, but I wouldn't choose this place over other more value for money places, with more consistent, attentive service.

This was the best 2 hours out with the Teenagers. Knife throwing, claybird shooting, shooting, archery and the platter of food we got was so yummy. Reccomend to everyone to come try. They even have wine tasting. Olive trees surrounding you it's a awesome place.

Fabulous environment and food to die for. The prices at first seem a little high but they give you extras like home made bread olive oil herb butter and warmed olives. Then they give you yet another complimentary dish of a nice soup. Couldn't fault the whole experience.

Great atmosphere and location. The service was very good. We had the set menu because we were a group of 7. Food was all around very high end but missed the mark on a few dishes. I tried both the lamb and the duck as mains. The duck was delicious but the lamb was not very tender. All around a good experience.

Great food, amazing staff!

Bracu has lost a lot of its glamour. Even basic manners are not being respected. Men wearing caps at the table has always been a no-no for dining. Previously I am sure the Hostess would have dealt with that subtly. Our waitress, lovely as she was, wore creased black trousers straight from the dryer. Uniforms used to be pressed and immaculate. But the bathrooms were the real disappointment. No longer any nice soap....just a small bottle of sanitizer. Later a low quality flowing soap came out. Upmarket eateries will often have flowers and lovely flowing soaps. Certainly at highly rated BRACU this is an expectation. Olive Grove products are not necessary, but something better than supermarket Palmolive. These things seem small and picky but in that price range.....it does not fit the image. The food was not the usual. In fact the bluenose was tough and chewy and on the set menu the couscous did not entirely gel. It had dropped considerably on our list of favs

Always wanted to have a meal at this beautiful venue and I'm glad I made it there recently. The venison fillet is absolutely delicious, a must try.

Absolutely loved our dinner at Bracu! After having a few horrid moments with other restaurants recently, Bracu was refreshingly relaxing. The atmosphere is quite and calm but not stuffy, the service being in the same vein. The food is fabulous, each of our plates couldn't have been improved, all perfectly cooked, seasoned and portioned. The fish I had was some of the best I've ever had, as a boatie family thats a very hard thing to find for us. The white chocolate mousse was perfectly balanced it provides sweet, sour, creamy and crunchy profiles, a luscious yet refreshing finish to the evening. The service staff are lovely and helpful without being overbearing or feeling the need to constantly make awkward conversation. When one of the servers spilled some water she made light of it and we all admired how lovely the droplets looked. I appreciated how calm she was, the staff just know how to put you at ease, and as someone with anxiety that is very important to me. Thank you, we already have plans to visit again. P.S unfortunately no pictures as we all forgot due to the food looking and smelling so good.

Lovely spot, and a very enjoyable dinner experience. The staff were very friendly, joining in the banter at the table and giving opinions and suggestions on the menu and wine list. All three courses of food were enjoyed by everyone at the table and the ladies received a gift at the end of the meal! It was dark when we were dining but I'd very much like to go back and experience the rest of what Bracu has to offer.

Fine dining at its finest. Great food and great service. Also if you have a private event ask to be seated in the wine room. Very comfortable. Only downfall is staff coming in to get wine every so often.

Wife and I went here for a wedding anniversary. The quality of food was fantastic, but portions were small. The attention you get from the staff is amazing and you feel like the waiter/waitress is there just for you. The only downside is the price. It's not cheap!

Really nice location with outside sitting for when the weather is nice, the chianti wine is excellent. Had the lamb it was well worth the visit. The cold pressed olive oil is also a must try, ended up getting a bottle to take home.

One of the best fine dining restaurants in Auckland with top quality food, a stunning and cosy atmosphere and the best service we have ever received! Reasonably priced as well and check out their skincare and olive oils while you are there too - the Maitre D gave me a hand cream for free (a full sized one too!) and its wonderful! We will definitely be back 😊

Took my sister inlaw from Germany here, did not dissapoint. The food was excellent, all you could expect from this level fine dining, the lamb was sensational. Only reason not 5 stars was the wait staff were not up to the standard of the food or expectations. Would recommend and definayely go again. Also check out the range of olive oils on offer.

This is our second visit to Bracü & we used a voucher this time. The service was excellent and the food delicious. The setting is amazing & even on a cold winter's day we sat on the covered verandah and had a wonderful meal. Highly recommended

Set in a beautiful olive estate, Bracu is a fine dinning restaurant aiming for the top. we had the the 7 course meal and while the dished were spectacular individually, the sequence they were served in didnt not quite work. Defiantly a must on a sunny summers day and an empty stomach
