This place was handy to our accommodation situated about 60metres away within walking distance and meals weren't too badly priced. I tried the porkbelly and it was beautifully done would have liked it with chips however in all was a nice meal out however I do think your supposed to make a booking whereas I think we got lucky when we walked in as it was one of the quieter nights.

Everything I've ever ordered from here has been absolutely delicious, the chicken and chips, fish burger *chefs kiss*, their milkshakes and donuts, but my favourite has to be the chicken tender burger, on top of that Mark the owner is great guy a long with the other girl who works there, great customer service! I'm glad I live next door lolol

The fish was nice and juicy and the batter was lovely and crunchy and so where the chips. Very nice. The only thing I would change is put them in paper instead of boxes but that's my preference. Thanks for the nice tea.

Was told 30 mins on the phone, guy told me I ordered to much & took nearly 2 hours. Half of bulls was there so I get it's overwhelming. But at least be honest and say 2 hour wait time. The burgers were very nice and they were apologetic.

Stopped in here on our way home from Wellington. What a treat! Some of the best fish n chips we've ever had. I grabbed a cheese burger and it was also amazing. Great chips without that greasy flavour.

We stopped at the Burger Bar for fish and chips. Service was friendly, and prices very reasonable. The food itself was great, fish (hoki) was great, spring roll (chicken) was amazing, chips and potato fritters were also great. Will definitely vatop here again!

The serving of chips was generous and the fish was good. The front of the shop was dim so at first glance it was not obvious that it was open. Noticed that the locals were using the place even though there is a big selection of takeaways in that area so must have a good reputation. There were a number of phone orders so not obvious that there was a que of orders when I arrived so had to wait a while. Worth waiting

The shop doesn't look like much, but the food is outstanding! The chips were cooked to perfection in clean oil, and the burger was the best I've had in a very long time.
