Pretty good beef burgers which my daughter and I both had, my partner had the sausage roll with salad which was ok, he enjoyed it. Staff were friendly enough and good service. Would have been good if there were menus we could look at by our table so could choose something there rather then trying to choose something off the board while in the queue to place the order. Also if you want water you can serve yourself from the little tap inside, but especially in the heat, no one wants to drink room temperature/warm tasting water. So cold bottles of water for the tables would be good.

100% awesome staff....so friendly & meals arrived super fast even though they were quite busy. We had the Big Breakfast, 2 English Breakfast Teas & Orange Juices everything was so tasty with excellent sized portions and very good value for money! So consistent with their meals & service, cannot rate them high enough!! Have been multiple times now, Paddock has become our favorite spot.

We happened upon Paddock on a road trip and it was perfect. Amazing cabinet and menu food, strong coffee, and friendly upbeat staff. Everyone’s (adults and kids) needs were met and it was the best cafe meal we’ve had in ages. Well worth the stop.

Recently a friend & I lunched at the Paddock. I had the noodle box for the first time. I thought about changing the dumplings for something else, but am glad I didn't, they were really tasty. Both our meals were so good that, after shopping, we went back for cronut & banana loaf with coffee - afternoon tea! Thoroughly recommend this place.

Wonderful cafe with a large selection of food. The beefy burger was excellent, the beef was so tender and juicy. The large patio made this place also very inviting with blankets too even. Good curated selection of food on the menu and drinks to choose from.

Really good cafe for breakfast and coffee. The inside is very small but there is a lot of outdoor seating. We had the Bircher muesli with seasonal fruits (blueberries, apple and raspberries) and the big breakfast. Presentation was great and everything tasted fresh. Coffee was delicious. Would definitely revisit if in Cambridge again

Very good cafe with a nice variety of food. There is outdoor seating available and limited inside seating. As most other places in this area choices available are all very environmentally conscious. The food quality does not suffer at all. Definitely worth going.

It has a strategic location at the centre of Cambridge and very popular during lunch. Tried the Ceasar salad which was nothing to rave about. The daily special was the sweet and spicy ribs which again was average. Ok hear the burgers and hot chocolate with ice cream are popular and tasty though.

We stopped here for afternoon tea, as it is halfway from Auckland to Taupo. We didn’t have hot drinks however my husband and son sheet of juice which was great. We all had something out of the cabinet I had this sausage roll, our son had a cookie and my husband had a doughnut. The portions were good however my sausage roll was a little bit on the bland side. But the barbecue sauce made up for it.

This café has very good response time and I didn't have to wait for my food very long. I had the vege burger and it tasted nice at first and looked nice however it was very saucy and thick which caused part of the filling to slide out. The burger filling didn't taste nice without the bread but the bun was small to begin with. The outer edge of the burger was wet and slightly soggy, while the inside was very dry and didn't have much sauce. The hot chocolate was good and standard albeit a bit watery. The area was nice, more suited towards a sunny day as well as small groups. There was not much space for large families. Surprisingly, there was only one bathroom for all customers regardless of gender and it was outside the cafe as well. Personally the food was sub-par and not completely worth the experience but at the same time enough to fill me up.

One of my all time favourite cafes. The menu and cabinet food is so yummy with a great selection for everyone. The staff is always friendly and you never have to wait too long for your order. Highly recommend.

First time here and got recommended to have brunch there. We ended up getting a busy market day on a Sunday but wasn't that hard to get a seat to eat. Service was quick and pleasant (nice to see waiters walking around happy/smiling) but also I'm sure it was the owner checking each table and spotted getting supplies for the cafe. Nice to see verses them getting caught up in the kitchen or behind the counter. Food was really good but need to visit again to try the rest of the menu. Coffee 👌

Such an incredible array of artisan, delicious and nutritious food. They really do offer food crafted to fuel the Champions of this town. Loads of options for those that have dietary requirements, and fantastic coffee! A must visit if you are ever in town!

Great range of yummy healthy teas. Other cafes should take Paddock's lead! Shame there isnt a Paddock cafe in Napier..

Had Brunch here on 4th February. Ordered the Potato Rosti with Poached eggs and meant to be a grilled Portobello Mushroom with it. The mushroom was about 4 tiny pieces and not even a Portobello. When I checked menu and told them she just shrugged it off and said would tell chef. I did enjoy meal but shouldn't have down as Portobello mushroom.

I've been hunting for a great donut and the Paddock bayleaf custard donut is hands down the best one I've had! And I tried Bluebells and Hello Friends and Allies who are in the Top 10 Auckland donuts. Worth the 2h drive from Auckland to Cambridge.

Had a lovely breakfast, I took the different but equally enjoyable eggs Benedict with pork belly. The smoothies were good and well presented. The outdoor seating was a real plus and made the place. The coffee was just average and the difference between a four and five star. Three breakfasts, three coffees and a smoothie $98, so up there.
