A.Great little bar. Lots of plants, really homely. Staff are friendly, and I love the pronunciation guide in the menu, it was a treat for a couple on new Te Reo Māori learners.
R.Such a lovely find! Friendly service, cute and cosy atmosphere and one of the most flavoursome wood fired pizzas I’ve ever had. Perfect spot for a feed after popping over the Bridle Path from Christchurch. Hope to return in the near future.

P.So so good! Great range of pizzas on the menu as well as an awesome selection of drinks! Loved the feijoa wine and mead. The pizza with potato toppings was delectable!
R.We went here earlyish on a Saturday evening, we were lucky to get a table, it was buzzing. We got some fries and the lamb pizza - both were fantastic - along with a couple of drinks (the beer and wine list is pretty decent, and it was cool to see a mead option on there too). Lovely staff, and I really liked the atmosphere - cozy but not cramped, still felt nice and airy somehow too. The boat bar is a nice touch.

Went here for dinner last night for the first time, it was amazing. Really impressed with the wide range of vegetarian options, usually I have only a couple items to choose from but I had over half the menu in choices.

M.I absolutely loved everything about my visit here. I went for a Friday lunch and it was an awesome experience.
To start with when you walk in you see this beautiful space with a wicked bar made from what I was told is an upcycled lyttleton fishing boat. The plants in there are incredible.
We were immediately greeted by friendly staff who were attentive and helpful.
The food came out quickly and tasted amazing. We had a view of chef making our pizzas which was nice. We tried the matai, kauri and ngaio. All of them were spectacular. The beef meatballs on the kauri were massive and the ngaio vegan sausage was delicious. I will definitely be returning to try the full menu over a few visits. HOT TIP: if you like hot sauce ask the waiter and they will bring a selection over.
It was a bit hot in there with the afternoon sun coming through the opaque roof and the table was wobbly. But hey, when those are the only two issues you know that it must be amazing to nit pick stuff like that.
All in all it was the perfect experience all round. Thanks to everyone at Arbour Bar. My new favourite pizza restaurant.
A.Great new spot specialising in tasty gourmet woodfired pizzas! Pizza was perfectly cooked, aioli and chips were amazing...seemed to be a strange taste on the chips though, which may have been the oil?
Definitely recommend and look forward to trying more of the options on offer🍕

I.Clean and tidy with a lovely atmosphere. Friendly staff and quick service. A great menu for food and drinks. They cater for gluten free veggie vegan and plant base needs. Pizzas looked so attractive as they were served to other customers. Thank goodness ours was great or we would have had food envy!!!!

I added chilli flakes to my vegan sausage pizza which turned it from slightly bland into a great pizza. Came at a really busy time and had to wait a while, but was worth it. Also a little on the pricey side.

p.The newly finished and opened space is unique, warm and inviting. The staff are super friendly and accommodating. Then you have the pizza... delicious!! Highly recommend grabbing a pizza or three and some beverages and enjoying in this comfy spot. Has a great vibe and love all the interesting plants and little touches they have made. Also, it's always a great time being able to watch your pizza bring cooked in the woodfired oven!

N.Great place. Accommodated us even when it was super busy. We had the Hebe pizza and I had the Fejoia fruit wine. Both were really new and interesting flavours to me. Generous portions too. Highly recommend.

J.My partner and I are vegan and gluten-free, and our server was SO accommodating to us, investigated every question we had about the ingredients and took such good care of us. Unfortunately the vegan aioli mistakenly given to us as regular aioli (with egg) which was upsetting to hear after I had eaten it, but the way in which the situation was handled will still have me with out a doubt coming back. Our server was so apologetic and sincere, and covered our whole meal. I understand that mistakes happen although one like that is not a good one to make! But I appreciated the ownership taken and the resolution.
And the pizza was AMAZING. ♥️

j.I had the horopito pizza, the lamb was succulent and the confit garlic, rosemary and caramelized onions were very tasty. The frangipane tart was nice and the pinot gris went down a treat. I highly recommend. Friday night gets busy here. It's great seeing the locals support a local business. I will be back.
