Had a nice time here and the staff were friendly and helpful. Quite a well organised restaurant with the dining area separate to the main bar area. This is a good place to have a quiet drink, a meal and a get together with friends or family. Car parking is good.

Great spot, food is well priced. Gets busy so it pays to book a table in advance. Kids menu it great, includes desert, but not drink. I've been back a couple of times and it is very consistent with the quality of food and service.

I really enjoyed my perfectly cooked tasty deep fried shrimps and sauce, my beautifully cooked steak meal with veggies and gravy & a freshly baked apple crumble pudding cooked to perfection, they were all great portion sizes, and the customer service was very friendly and accommodating, We waited a very long time for the pudding, however, we did have a group of 36, so I suggest they focus on serving the pudding before they do the dishes which we could hear very clearly from our tables, Overall the food was great, the service was great, the atmosphere was great, I would definitely go back and recommend them to others Thanks Armadillos Halswell

We were the only people there late on a Tuesday night. The service was excellent. We both had the rump steak which was good the salad and chips were great but my vegetables were really overcooked and the croquettes were tasteless.

We went for a dinner on Wednesday and had the Wednesday special ribs .they were very nicely cooked, we will definitely be back in future. Would recommend armadillos for a great place to go.

I've been going to armadillos in halswell since it first opened and it is my go to restaurant in the area. The staff are caring and attentive. Always checking in on how customers are doing. Food has always been great. Very nice feel to the place. Would recommend to anyone happily.

When visiting family in the area we had lunch here and it was lovely, three of us had steak and chips and my partner had fish and chips. All meals for hot, tasty and well presented. The lady who served us was very kind particularly who our older relatives, being patient and helping them into their seats, a true people person! Many thanks for a lovely experience, we will be back next visit.

Clean and modern, with very good service. No lunch time menu was promoted, which was evident at another Armadillo's. The ribeye meal was very good however a bit expensive for the proportion size of the salad and fries. The chicken and bacon stack meal was also very good.

Good service & nice food in a basic restaurant style.

Had the steak special and it was excellent. I must commend on the salad as well, usually I don't bother as its not items I like but this was perfect accompaniant to steak and chips. Good service

It's ok. Steak wasn't cooked how I asked the first time. $15 steak and chips on Sundays but $3 extra to change salad to vege which is normally offered when it isn't steak night
