Visited Beach Bar for Valentine's dinner and had a great time. We were early for our reservation but our table was ready for us. Staff offered a warm and friendly welcome and service was quick and efficient. I had Fish and Chips and they were honestly up there with the best I've ever had. My partner chose the Beach Pizza and the generous prawn and salmon topping was appreciated. My only slight disappointment was the cocktails. They were good but not great. We will be back again and I definitely recommend it here.

In these difficult times in this industry it is difficult to find a place where you truly recieve great food, drinks and exceptional service every time. This place wowed me on many levels today. Service was super attentive, my food was amazing and came quickly, great menu, music and the location is spectacular. As a fellow food and beverage professional I am very impressed.

Beautiful place and scenery. The service was nice and attentive, food came out quick. Fish and chips were yummy, however the tacos were below average.

Beautiful bar set on the beaches of somner. Cool place to chill, have a drink and relax all the while looking at the waves. You have multitude of beers to choose from. The food is also good, wee bit pricey though.

Had wonderful view on deck, fantastic service and delicious food. East Coast Hash full of flavor and great change from bacon/eggs.

Really lovely place, great coffee. Unfortunately the meal my friend ordered wasn't up to expectations. We talked to the manager and an instant refund was given, we didn't ask for one but they were so kind and professional that we didn't need to. I'm sure that it was just an off morning for the chef. We all have off days and we will be back again because of how beautifully it was handled. Thank you to all the staff.

Spent a lovely evening at Beach as a party of four. We ordered a range of things all cooked beautiful and really tasty. Our waitress was very attentive and friendly despite the busy evening. We ordered a couple of drinks on which two were coming out late - staff was very professional and the mix up got dealt with.

Great experience as they were under pressure on Show Weekend with two staff not showing. Keep up the good service.

Great bar on amazing location in Sumner Christchurch. Located on the Sumner beach the place is perfect place to enjoy coffee or drink with amazing view. The food manu is great and the staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. If you are in Christchurch highly recommended place to visit.

Visited for lunch on Sunday, I can honestly say it was an exceptional visit, mainly due to the impeccable service from the friendly and attentive staff - it was top notch. The food was yum and well priced, and the kids were also made to feel very welcome. I’ll definitely be back soon!

Great food & lovely place to eat. Have been multiple times and going again this weekend. Staff always friendly. gluten free options which is fantastic. Continually recommend to friends and family.

Really nice and yumy food. I had a pizza which was really well cooked and mums big breakfast looked and was good from the little bit that I had. The staff were very friendly and you could tell they liked working there .

Would be nice to see more gluten-free options but great place. Simple example would be to offer gluten free bun for burgers. The likes of "allergy wise" brand has frozen buns so can be stored for a while without "usage" requirements.

Arguably the best location of a restaurant in Christchurch. Even on cooler days the view is amazing. Food was very tasty and well priced. Service not outstanding but ok, compared with other places. A big let down was the beverage selection. Wine was way too pricey and either very average or very nice but over priced ($21.00 a glass!!! ). Tap beer selection was very poor, obviously contractual issues with beer provider? ..No craft beer option at all, unless you paid for an over priced 300ml bottle pored into a juice glass.

Such great food and service, while the restaurant was clearly very busy and staff were working hard, we we're not forgotten and had some of the best food I've eaten in Christchurch. Is quickly becoming a favourite place to dine.

Excellent service, seating wasn't ideal but we also didn't book so were very lucky you be seated. Beef cheek and fish and chips were excellent. Lovely spot.

My food was ok but average. My gf’s meal was dry to the point where she didn’t finish it - easy mistake to make when cooking pork but this is a restaurant. Staff member was rude to us when asking us to queue for a table - a bit of respect would have gone a long way (given that I’m the one paying them). Bonus star for: friendly table service by a second staff member once we’d sat down, great coffee and location. That said I’m unlikely to come rushing back.

Love hate relationship with this place, the service has improved greatly, the beached burger today whilst good was lacking in terms of portion size, not by much but enough to definitely not worth $27. sorry but ex hospo myself and that was sad. service was excellent though :) and beer was cold

This has been a favourite place to hang after a busy day shopping with clients. Kick off my shoes on the deck and watch the sun go down with a drink and yummy eats, with stunning views of Sumner Beach. I even had my 50th birthday here! Since Covid new owners have bought it, and sadly the menu changes mean't most of my favourite meals had been deleted and prices increased to the point it's just pure revenue making because they can! So since the menu and price changes I haven't eaten there as much, mainly have drinks. I gave the new menu a go recently, and each time with disappointing results. I ordered the mushroom croquettes. The minuscule pieces of mushroom which I only saw 2 or 3 pieces of in each croquette was shocking. Not "Where is Wally?" but I was playing "Where is the mushroom?!" Combined with no recognizable seasoning to speak of. Bland and boring! So I sent them back. Next time I really felt like a steak, knowing how risky it is ordering steak in NZ full stop, especially Christchurch, as there is no standardisation on what is considered Rare, Medium Rare, Medium, Medium Well and Well Done 🙄 So it's like playing Russian roulette ordering a steak here to arrive the way you want it cooked. I had this exact discussion with the waiter and said I wanted it pink, with no blood. Which to me is Medium. Even Medium Rare would have sufficed. I cut into my steak to find no pink what so ever and a Medium Well to almost Well Done steak. The smoked beetroot puree and potato au gratin and cherry tomatoes were a great combo flavour wise. I sent it back, hungry and disappointed again.... It came back almost rare and as chewy as f...k! It was obvious it hadn't been rested before plating it and that the chef had also put the same potato au gratin back in the oven while cooking another steak, as the top of my potato was crispy and so hard that I couldn't cut through the top layer! For $35 meal, I expect a beautifully cooked steak. I could have cooked a better one myself at home! Really a dismal experience and the chef there really needs to up their game or be replaced. I sent it back and ordered the no fail creme brulee which is always delicious. To top off the consistent reliable poor taste sensations there, I once again (and we are talking the 3rd time here!), had my glass rim dipped in salt instead of sugar for my strawberry martini. Yuck just awful! I even said to the bar tender as a reminder to please dip it in sugar not salt because it is a sweet martini. Yet it still arrived dipped in salt 🤢 It got sent back and the replacement was a messy drippy sugar dipped glass that looked like they used the original glass and wiped the salt off and smeared some sugar around it. I will continue to go here for drinks and dessert, the occasional burger or pizza (as these are always good but the burger is over priced compared to the price it used to be) and the staff are always friendly and courteous. Definitely gone downhill since new owners took over. The staff don't seem as happy to be there either. The service feels more staid instead of relaxed vibe. If it wasn't for the views and friendly staff, I wouldn't have gone back.

Lovely place to chill out and had gud food experience next to Beach… But in end - one of female staff was extremely rude during billing. No sense how to talk and behave. But other staff members were good though.

Always thought this was the best restaurant view in town. Now the food, chefs, wine list and waitstaff have risen to reflect this. Well done guys. A wonderful early evening dinner. See you again soon

Awesome, we love it here. Sit and watch the kids play on the beach right below the outside deck, listen to the ocean and relax - they can be close enough to pass toast to if you like, and bigger kids can go off and do their thing. Loads of space indoors if it's cold and the big deck doors are opened and closed according to the wind. Coffee and food are great, and reasonably priced. Staff here are always happy and helpful. Amazing all round, and a solid go-to.

Great place. Great atmosphere. Coffee is good. View is nice. We have a dog so they put us outside which was perfect.The service was not good. We had to clean our table. And after the food arrived we had to ask twice for cutlery.

I had the pleasure of being a visitor to Christchurch over the Christmas holiday period and on recommendation of my family went to Beach Bar. The day we went was admittingly busy. We did get a seat outside on the roadside which was nice. A waitress took drinks orders reasonably quickly. My son ordered muscles, not available, run out, settled for Caesar salad, I ordered the Strawberry Grilled Haloumi salad, - sorry no strawberry's will mango be ok? Who and how do you run out of strawberry's in summer in NZ?? Beats me, you would think someone would be dispatched to Countdown to get more - not a biggy one would think? We waited and waited for our drinks to appear. I could see 2 of the 3 ordered were sitting on the bar for a good 10 minutes. The bar tender topped up the head on beer once whilst it sat there. Result when they were eventually delivered, no head left on the beer. My son took it back and asked them to repour the headless beer. The drinks turned up with our food. So to sum up, the food was ok, the service not so. They could easily have gotten 2 more rounds out of us however money better in our pocket. I mentioned the slowness of the drinks to the waitress and said I had been watching them sitting on the bar for well over 10 minutes. After that she did not come near us again, never cleared our plates away and certainly never asked if we wanted more drinks. This place is a great location but need to improve on customer service even if they are busy.

Amazing food and great atmosphere

Pretty decent as food, nice beers, great location. We always love end up in here every time we go to Sumner. The pizza use to be better before, though... Geez, now they put way too much salad. Pizza type are classic kiwi style, not the best style when is about pizza tbh. If you can stand too much salt, the basic one, Margherita, is ok. We tried fish and chips last time.... Perhaps they should call it "taste if fish and chip" for how small the dish was. They have both indoor and outdoor tables and, in a good sunny day, it's very pleasant eating outdoor under an umbrella. Recommend.

Came here for breakfast for the first time, had a great window view of the beach. Fantastic atmosphere with great music. Staff are so friendly and provided great service. Had one of the best hot chocolates ive ever had and a 10/10 breakfast. Priced well too. Will be coming again one day soon!

We had the Beach Stack it was totally yum! Had my dog with us so sat in the picnic area. The lovely staff brought Alfie a bowl of water which was so lovely. Great location great staff and great food.

Pricy. But excellent fare. Well staffed who were very attentive. Location, location is real here. Being a usually nice day parking was a bind. That is Sumner for you. Well worth the drive alone if the tide is right.

Our family group of 7 including 3 that are gf, had a really lovely brunch/lunch at the Beach Bar on New Year's Day. Everything was great, the food, the service, and the gorgeous setting right on Sumner Beach. We will be back!

Not impressed with the Cafe. My tea was Luke warm. The coffee tasted burnt. The hot chocolate wasn't stirred properly (lumps on the bottom) The chips where nice.

Had an excellent eggs benedict breakfast here. Was able to reserve a table online very easily. Eggs were cooked perfectly, and amazing crispy bacon. The service was great, nice staff.

Cozy eatery with amazing views! The risotto and pizza were delicious. They have glutenfree pizza base and it tasted good even to someone that loves gluten.

Always enjoyable - staff are friendly and professional, and the meals are delicious. Beautiful view in any weather.

Food and drinks were very good but unfortunately the service was very disappointing. They had a new girl on and another girl who was teaching her the ropes, they were both very lovely but the other staff didn't even show a smile and were borderline rude.

The service left a little too be desired, the staff seemed about unsure about where food/coffee waseant to be delivered. Otherwise a good experience, food was good and a reasonable price. $12 for the eggs on toast. The view is awesome, right on the beach front.

Went there at the weekend, can get really busy at times. We had grilled haloumi with vegetables and wedges, everything good. After finishing the meal we were asked if we wanted coffee, we said not yet, and about 3min later the waitress brought the receipt for us, in fact saying we should leave. This quite ruined my impression. Otherwise recommended, if you go to the beach on a nice day!

Came here for mother's day. It was super busy so I was really impressed with how the staff managed to still be super attentive and lovely. Food was amazing, my dad couldn't stop raving about how much bacon he was given. Which is a sure way to keep him happy. Overall a lovely experience as always :)

We love coming back for our anniversary dinner each year as we had our wedding reception here some years ago.... beautiful ambience and stunning setting acorss the waves to the sun setting. And the food and service faultless.

Love this place and always come with my husband and children for brunch. Delicious seafood chowder and tacos, love the overall ambience and the customer service has been good even when they are obviously very busy. Highly recommend!

The staff were frantically busy last Saturday. Our waitress was a very petite dark-haired girl, who was so patient, kind and gentle with my very old mother in her wheelchair. The waitress kept her hot tea topped up when it got cold, as she is very slow now. The food was great too, but all the staff were very good with us.

Had a lovely relaxed lunch with the girls on the weekend. Super friendly staff and fantastic food and drinks. Very impressed and have already recommended to others. We will be back.

Excellent service professional but fun relaxed staff! We had the vege gyoza dumplings which came with a delicious sauce, the rib-eye steak cooked perfectly everything worked on the plate together loved the hickory jus! My partner had a beautiful pork belly with a fresh fennel and pear salad she was also very impressed. Finished with and affogato YUM! Great memory for our 2 year anniversary thank you. 10/10 would recommend

Our favorite local, idyllic location, chilled unhurried atmosphere, friendly staff, tasty food and a good selection of drinks to boot.

Wonderful lunch of beer and seafood chowder on a beautiful sunny 1 January. Great service from front of house staff who despite being a busy day and we hadn't booked, had us wait 5 minutes with cold beers, before showing us to a table for two in a good spot by the door to the outside landing. Situation on the beach an absolute beauty. Thank you and was very happy to leave a well earned tip for the staff.

Staff were super friendly and went out of their way to assist my elderly Mum. Thank you so much. Will visit again

This place is truely amazing. The drinks, the food and the young chick, looking after the outside dinning area on Saturday afternoon evening was awesome. Friendly, efficient, and really attentive to her guests. The food, the pizza and the fish and chips were simply amazing, as they say when in Rome, given we were literally on the beach. Will 100% be back. Such a truely amazing dinning experience.

Love this place! Bit of a regular here but with good reason. Great food, beautiful views, reasonable pricing and the staff are always so pleasant. Special shout out to Abbey - always smiling at us and saying hi, taking the time to talk to us even when flat out busy. Kids love it too. Shame only two of the three of us got hugs though 😉

We love this beachside cafe/restaurant and visit for lunch regularly. After a long beach walk, we can sit out or inside, enjoying the really good range of wines and beers and the amazing food. Plates are generous with quality ingredients, staff are professional, approachable and eager to please. Always book a table on the weekend to ensure a place as Beach Bar is very popular.

Beach is a Sumner local in a great location; love the atmosphere and the staff are always excellent no matter when you visit. Well done Beach on maintaining a high standard with friendly staff.

Ive been a local here for over 5 years now and over that time ive seen the ups and downs in terms of food, service, staff etc, more recently i thought the service was too slow and wasnt great, however i am so happy that you have changed for the better now! i am pleasantly suprised to say on an extremely busy sunny day recently, i thought your service was perfect, i didnt have to wait too long for drinks or food and they kept coming to ask if we were ok and wanted anything, was super impressed! great job !

Fabulous outlook from the dining deck right on the sand. Take my elderly mum there regularly so she can relax, have a coffee a good food whilst connecting with the beach and sea which she loves but because of her reduced mobility can't actively interact with anymore. A favourite spot. Blankets provided if it's a bit chilly.

Superb food, steak 9/10 and pork belly 9/10. Not many desserts but still really nice. Good selection of wine and beers. Excellent friendly fast service. Well done!

This venue was simply amazing. Not just in terms of the amazing food and service but the team were so accomodating and flexible when our wedding reception plans were COVID affected and we had to change dates and party size. Thank you so much Benny, Jordan and team!!!!

Good presentation of meals but my wife found sand on the table. Was it wiped down after the last service?????? Prices have gone up as the menu has changed. Mmmmmmm good quality of meals but you pay for it. Reply to answer from owner SORRY BUT WE WERE INSIDE IN THE CORNER LEFT FRONT WITH WINDOWS CLOSED SO THERE SHOULD HAVE BEEN CLEAN TABLES!!!

I love this restaurant. The atmosphere by the beach is fantastic, and good selection of food, moderated prices and kind service, make this place a great choice to enjoy anytime! I Highly recommended it!

A great place to visit even on a rainy day! It was very busy but we didn’t feel rushed or crowded! The good as always was fabulous as was the service!

We enjoyed both our visits over the Easter weekend. The staff were extremely busy on the Monday so the service was a little slow but they certainly tried their best. They also accommodated our seating as we were very hot sitting by the window. Thank you to the team at the Beach Bar, we will be back.

Beautiful day in Sumner. Great walk along the promenade. People watching was amazing. Lucky to see old spitfire planes flying over head as it was Anzac day. Had refreshments at 'The Beach' sitting outside in the sun, with fabulous views of the beach and coast, topped off with sky divers putting on a show, and landing on the beach in front of us. Although busy the staff coped admirably. All very friendly. Kids enjoyed the ice cream from next door too

We had booked for New Year day brunch for 8 of us. The food was good as we all enjoyed our dishes. I can especially recommend the fish tacos. It was quiet with not many people there to begin with however I felt like there was an underlying strain with the staff. They were pleasant enough but most seemed distracted or rather not present. When we went to pay the bill the person serving us was so distracted that as we were talking to him he was looking and motioning to someone elsewhere for almost the entire conversation. Its just those little things that help make the experience go further.

Good friendly service even when a dozen senior cyclists turn up unannounced! The coffee is also good and served at what we all thought was a proper temperature - that is hotter than many outlets!

Venue popular. Presentation of meals was good but mine lacked flavour and parts over cooked. We were a large booked party so understand the difficulty that imposes so will try again. Didnt enjoy my coffee at all and that is very unusual for hummingbird coffee.

We thoroughly enjoyed our lunch on Sunday . The food was great and the service was second to none. Our wait staff was a bubbly happy young woman who happily engaged with my guests. Her advice on the wine was excellent. All in all a very pleasant experience .Thank you

A nice spot to stop for brunch with quality meals at an affordable price. Can’t go past a tasty feast of green lipped mussels.

Excellent people, lovely view, clean establishment and a wide variety of choices to select from. We'd had all day nibbles and desert at my sister's, then went for a drive and ended up in Sumner. I'd shifted to the Bay of Islands after I'd sold to a developer so always good to come home! I chose the fish salad and the prawn cocktail, with a mochachino as the weather was cooler and I was driving.

It is located somehere nice and food is ok, but staff were not polite. I hope manger train them to be more professional

Haven't tried much food here but can't fault the place for ambience and the menu looks great, to be honest, I'd go there just for the spot. It's outstanding. Good wine list too.

Quite a pleasant dining experience. Friendly staff and a good choice of food and drink selection. A lovely evening with a good view of the beach from our table. A little bit noisy but a well patronised atmosphere. Will be coming back again.

The best time to have a drink of your choice is when sun touches the horizon the whole beach turns orange. The spectacle stays for a short time but worth it, otherwise clean. Uncluttered beach for group or individual fun.

Staff were great and friendly. Had the seafood chowder. I'd give it a 3. To much thickening got a big lump which was a disappointing potato. Friend ordered wedgies and got waffle fries with no explanation. Obviously very popular as very busy.

This is one of our must go places, we live in Rangiora and love to pop off the radar and head to Sumner for a weekend and Beach is a must do for our fav pizza a margarita, over 2 yrs going and always tops, thank you again, till next "off radar time"

One of the few places in ChCh to offer al fresco dining with a view of the water. Best to book beforehand. Staff quite friendly but often rather slow to serve you. Same for kitchen. Menu has good food and the drinks selection is nice too.

If their Margherita pizza doesn't give you a foodgasim then I will pay for it. Best pizza in the whole wide world so far I have travelled.... Love this place as a relaxing, beautiful, calm and happy place in Christchurch. Very friendly staff serves you, alway with a big beautiful smile.

We were there midweek and was very busy. Our party of eight had to wait to have our orders taken but it was well worth the wait. Meals were attractive and good portions. The staff stayed cool in difficult conditions. We would all go back again.

My friend from Wellington and I ate at Beach yesterday and we had the best Caesar Salad that I have ever tasted. Congratulations to the chef who got it just right. The salmon that came with it was superb !!

Perfect setting, friendly staff. Shame about the food. Garlic bread was a miss. My salmon pizza was more like a beetroot laiden pizza. Looks like they cook the base and just throw the cold ingredients on top. Fries were amazing though.

However my partner and I went there for dinner the other night and one of the young waiter seemed to be more interested in the computer screen and the group of young girls... we were sitting with finished plates for 20-30 mins while he walked past our table and had eye contact multiple times... excellent food there all well cooked and great range of drinks

Absolutely beautiful location and very clean beach vibe inside. The menu has something for everyone and the food was well prepared in general. Despite having a full compliment in the staffing department service was a little lackluster but the view made up for it. I would definitely go again because while there is room for improvement it was quite good. Be forewarned, parking can be a bit of a challenge.

Had the chicken caesar salad for lunch and it was superb; easily one of the best in town! Great coffee to go with it too. Service was friendly and prompt. It was lovely looking out over the beach on a drizzly, misty day. Thanks.

Had a lovely afternoon enjoying wine nibbles with friends. Our waitress was Gianna who was an absolute delight. Nothing was too much trouble and she gave good advice. We will definitely go there again.

Awesome views. Staff were friendly enough. Food was OK, but nothing extraordinary. Probably the most expensive Pizzas I've every seen on a menu. For 4 adults for lunch/brunch there was no change out of $94 and two of us drank water and one of us had the cheapest item on the menu, being eggs florentine ($14).

This cafe has some of the nicest views in Christchurch and it is so lovely on a warm sunny day. The coffee isn’t the best, it was pretty bitter.

Great location right on the beach with fabulous views and great coffee. My only complaint is the music playing outside in the deck area as I would much rather listen to the sounds of the sea.

Food was delicious. I had a quick lunch I ordered a Cesar salad and was absolutely good. The service could be a bit better, the staff need to smile a bit more and be more friendly. I noticed that they treated well the regular customers. Overall is ok.

Beautiful spot. Sat outside on the beach deck with cold beers and great hot food. Had the crispy buttermilk chicken which was seriously delicious and pretty cheap too. Best part about this place, though, is the extremely friendly staff. A must visit if you're in Sumner.

We visited them on a very busy Sunday, 30 degrees and beachgoers everywhere. The waiters were lovely and friendly, managed to find a table for our group of five and we were served our food very promptly, and it was very tasty. Fantastic and highly recommended. Very reasonable prices for the quality of food and service.

Great restaurant on the beach. Only had coffee and a scone, my wife had a muffin. Both were delicious. Friendly staff and service was good. Just can't get used to the restaurants in New Zealand not clearing your dishes away after you are have eaten? Maybe just the way it's done here. Was contemplating having something off the desert menu, but since nobody came to clear the used dishes or ask if we would like anything else, I didn't order anything. Missed opportunity to upsell and although everything else was good, I keft feeling a little disappointed. Will definitely visit again though.

Such a great place to run away to on the weekend. Had a lovely meal and a nice warm cup of herbal tea out on the deck over looking the ocean. Staff are lovely. Blankets on offer if your not use to the "fresh" crisp air in Chch.

Good setting right on the beach, but disappointing food standards, particularly given the fairly high prices. We had the mussels, which were done with far too much coconut, that doesn't do them justice (give me a simple white wine reduction any day), the burger, which was far far too sweet, and the fish and chips, for which the batter was anaemic and lacked any crunch. All in all a disappointment, especially given that about a year ago it was all excellent. A change of chef perhaps?

A beer, sunset and a beach a perfect place to spend the evening with friends and family. Nice place to relax yourself for solo travellers. They have amazing coffee too. There is ample parking available.

We went in a busy day and they were able to find us a good size 6 ppl table. That was good work. We order seafood resotta,lamb pizza,fish n' chip, and the pork belly. For four ppl. food was generally good but the dish sizes were not as big as expected. The restaurant is right next to a beach so got a chance to feel the sea and walk on sand. Kid loved it.

I love salmon and this dish was heaven on a plate. The salmon was perfectly cooked and the other elements of the dish worked in perfect harmony. Dining alone with a plate of food like this in front of you isn't an embarrassment it's a delight. And I was totally delighted.

What great food and friendly efficient service

Have been here a few times and will keep going back. Chch has a lot of breakfast restaurants on offer and this isn't my favourite (I prefer restaurants that are doing something a bit quirky or new with their breakfast menu), but the service is good, the prices are good, the food is good and it's really nice on a sunny morning just sitting on the deck beside the beach. Parking is a bit of a commodity if you are a bit later in the morning, especially over the peak months.

Had been to the Beach Bar a couple of times with a friend - good experience every time: great service from very friendly, attentive staff, good food, good wine selection, and it's just great to be on the beach front, watching the sea and the sky, over my Salmon gravlax and sipping riesling! One of my fave spots in Christchurch.

Good service, and really good food. And lets not forget EXCELLENT views with the lovely sound of waves. Went there a few times while staying at the Sumner Bay Motel and would recommend it. Go stay in Sumner and just chill out, eat, drink, relax and regain your sanity.

Best fries in a basket! Grab a seat on the deck and watch the sun go down. Great if you have kids, so you can watch them on the beach playing, while you chill with a cold drink.

Cozy cafe/bar located right on the sumner beach with the stunning view on the ocean. It has very friendly staff and very convenient working hours - from morning till late so you can enjoy your nice cup of coffee or glass of beer lokking at the sunrise/ sunset.

Fish of the day was fantastic. Meals well presented and most importantly beer was ice cold. Service a bit slow but can forgive as the place was busy for a Tuesday afternoon. Will definitely go back

This place is brilliant on a nice sunny day, though it does get very busy. Great food and the hot chocolates are amazing. They also do a really nice breakfast menu, the 'Beach Brekkie' is to die for... Love it!

Ever since Kylie left this cafe has turned to rubbish! Staff argue with customers when they are unhappy with food and coffees. The coffee is bitter and Undrinkable and had to wait 35 minutes for 2 coffees when we were the only customers there!

Had a couple good meals here recently. The staff were very accommodating and the food was great. Awesome location also.

Hi I went for breakfast yesterday The service was great ,No pressure selling from staff .(It is fustrating in some places when they ask over and over if want drinks) You do straight away with out having to ask get a jug of water These guys will ask but after eating politely ask if any thing else they can help with We got a Big breakfast and a Eggs Benedict They had so much bacon and was really full after wards (That is even eating the Eggs Benedict) it was a generous serving I also went again on the 1st of April because I enjoyed my first experience I got the Eggs Florentine with salmon it was very tasty and a great amount of salmon Perfectly cooked The guy serving was George and the girl was Kat Very friendly and pleasent ,genuine I also really think they make a fantastic coffee and make you feel very welcome ,right to the guy making coffees(I asked for the peoples names from him)he was very helpful (sorry unsure of name I cant seeing going to any other resturant after being there Thanks guys who are there for enjoyable mornings out with a bonus of great views Well done to the owners for great choice in staff
